[2] The title of the sermon: “JAMES CHAPTER 3.”
- Let’s start there in verse 1 of James Chapter 3.
[3] James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
- What’s this talking about? “Be not many masters.” Be careful on wanting to be a master over things.
- For example, king Saul was the king over the children of Israel.
- In that position of leadership for God, you better be careful.
- When you do wrong, you will receive the greater condemnation. God will judge your actions in this life.
King Saul went to heaven. The Bible says so. But he sinned against God greatly. He lost his life for it.
- Be not many masters. Beware when you become a leader for God that you have a responsibility.
- You better do right. If you want to be a church leader, pastor or bishop or deacon, know this.
- Know that God expects more from you. You better get to work on the right things.
- Husbands, you are to lead your home in Christ. You better do it right.
- If you call yourself a Christian to others, you better act like one.
[4] Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
- This means to not judge unrighteously. If you do, you will be judged in the same way.
- If you want to be a master for God or a leader for God, be a doer. Do the work God gave you to do.
- Follow what He says to do. If you do wrong, as a leader, you will receive greater condemnation.
- Knowing this, my brethren, be NOT many masters.
[5] James 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
- The word offend has different definitions. Many people thinks that this means to not offend people.
- People in this world are offended at the word of God. Women can’t be pastors in God’s church.
- This offends women. This is not the type of offend we’re talking about here.
- We’re not talking about calling people serpents, vipers, and false preachers if they are one of those.
We’re talking about offending by not teaching the right things. If we say or do something wrong, we offend.
- We are not perfect men, but we need to strive to be perfect according to God’s words.
- Job was a perfect and upright man. This meant that he lacked nothing. He was a sinner.
- But he feared God and eschewed or rejected evil. We are to do the same. When we don’t, we offend.
If we accuse a preacher of teaching false things, then we better be right or we offend. We do wrong.
- “For in many things we offend.” We need to do our best to not offend by teaching the truth at all times.
- For example, a woman named Maryann comes at me over the sermon titled, “Can Jesus Come Back at Any Moment?”
- I preach and teach that Jesus cannot and is not coming back at any moment.
- Once the sun and moon is darkened, then He can come back at any moment.
Jesus comes back according to His words. IT IS WRITTEN.
- We are not to stand and look at the clouds all day and night.
- She calls me a liar for what I taught.
- And then she is offended when I tell her to keep on writing Maryann’s Book of Fairy Tales.
- She calls me demonic. She says that I am of my father the devil.
She says that I practice witchcraft because I mention the sun and moon being darkened.
- I ask her if Jesus practiced witchcraft because I am just quoting His words.
- And then it’s all my fault because she starts the argument with me calling me a liar.
- You should be very careful of saying these things to people.
If you call someone a liar who is preaching the word of God, you should be afraid of God.
- Did I offend her by telling her the truth? Yes, I did. Did I end up calling her a clown? Yes I did.
- Did I break those Scriptures there? No, I didn’t. I told her the truth. Clowns are funny.
- Children love funny clowns. She is a funny clown. She made me laugh with her fairy tales.
- If I teach the wrong things, then I offend. She says I teach wrong about Jesus coming back. I did not.
Please pay close attention to what this verse is teaching.
- If you offend not in word, you are able also to bridle the whole body. This is huge.
- If you can control your mouth and your tongue, you can bridle your whole body.
- Do I have trouble with that at times? Yes, I do. Maybe I shouldn’t have called Maryann a clown.
- But she is funny. I need to do better at that. I am going to give my best shot.
- Control your tongue, and you control your entire body. You can bridle your entire body.
In other words, if you have trouble with lusting after women, learn to control your tongue.
- Watch what you speak. “Oh, look at that woman.” Stop speaking these things.
- If you have trouble with drugs, control your tongue. “I want to buy some marijuana.”
- Don’t say that any more. You can’t buy it unless you speak to someone else. Shut your mouth.
- You won’t buy the drugs. Stop speaking like marijuana is a miracle drug.
- When you speak things constantly, you can start to believe your own lies. Control your tongue.
- This will fix everything else that you have trouble controlling. God says so. Believe Him or not.
[6] James 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
- God gives you this example. How do you control a big horse? You put a bit in their mouth.
- They obey you because of this. You can turn them from one direction to the other.
- Same thing with your mouth. We need to watch our mouths.
- When we see the Scriptures, this is what should change our minds and lead to a change in action.
- Remember what we’ve learned in the Book of James. We hear this. Now we do this.
If you have offended in word, taught the wrong things, it’s time to change those ways.
- We are going to mess up and teach the wrong things at times. When you know this, fix it.
- Don’t double down and keep going. If someone shows me clear Scripture, I believe it immediately.
- This is what a saved person will do.
For example, there is no Scripture anywhere in the Bible that teaches a pre-tribulation rapture. Not one.
- But there is very clear Scripture that teaches Jesus comes back after the tribulation.
- There is no Scripture that says the tribulation is 7 years.
- There is clear Scripture that says Daniel’s 70th week is 7 years.
- Daniel’s 70th week is not equal to the tribulation.
- Jesus says He is coming back after the tribulation to gather His elect or His people together.
- If you won’t believe what He says, teach the opposite, and then call me demonic for agreeing with Jesus, you are offending.
If I offend by teaching or doing something against God’s words, then I am sorry. I will get it changed.
- I do mess up. But don’t tell me that God’s words are wrong. Because I won’t listen to it.
- People say, “You’re taking the Scriptures about the second coming of Jesus Christ out of context to teach when Jesus Christ is coming.”
- What are you talking about? The entire chapter of Matthew 24 is speaking of His second coming.
- And I took it out of context? Is that what you like to say to everything that you don’t agree with?
- You’re wrong. The words of Jesus are right. Get over yourself.
[7] James 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
- Here’s another example. The large ships are controlled by a very small helm.
- The ship is steered by small parts. It’s a large ship but it goes where the governor tells it.
- Your tongue is very small but it’s controlling your actions. Make sure you understand this.
- If evil is constantly coming from your mouth, you will not live your life for God.
- Living a life for God starts with controlling your mouth. The Bible teaches this.
[8] James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
- The tongue speaks things that the body can’t do. I’ve been threatened before.
- Some man says he’s going to beat me. I’ve been at a busy 4 way stop in Louisville before.
- The man on one side decides he doesn’t need to stop for anyone. He doesn’t even attempt to stop.
- I put my hands up as I am stopped. “What’s going on here?” Everyone else was waiting their turn.
He stops his truck right in the middle of the 4 way stop. This is an old man. A smaller older man.
- I was deadlifting 475 pounds for 12 reps at that time. He gets out speaking swelling words.
- He comes up to the window and tries to punch me in the face. I caught most of his hand with mine.
- He got me a little on my lip. This was many years ago.
His tongue boasted of great things that he couldn’t actually do.
- But his tongue thought that he could. I didn’t beat the man. I let it go right there.
- He admitted that he just didn’t feel like stopping that day. And then he acted like it was my fault.
- He got in trouble for that. His tongue told the truth later on. He admitted to doing wrong.
- Watch that little tongue of yours. It’s small but gets you into big trouble at times.
- And yes, mine has gotten me into much trouble as well. It’s time to fix these things.
Don’t get me wrong here, though. When we preach God’s words, we preach the truth.
- If you are offended by the truth, that is not my problem to fix. You have the problem to fix.
- We all have problems to fix. Some people think they are perfect, though.
- If I am preaching something wrong, then I need to fix it. If not, you need to fix it.
- For example, if you think Jesus can come back at any moment, you’re wrong and need to fix it.
[9] James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
- The tongue is a world of iniquity. It is the leader in iniquity throughout this world.
- It’s not your legs or feet. It’s not your arms or hands. It’s not your chest, abs, or shoulders.
- It’s not your head, eyes, or ears. It’s your tongue. Your tongue is a fire.
- And you can use that fire in your tongue for good or bad. We need to choose good.
If we do not, the tongue will defile your entire body. The tongue will set on fire the course of nature.
- Our nature in our body is to sin. I don’t forget how I’ve spoken in the past.
- The tongue sets this nature on fire. The tongue leads people to death and hell.
- The tongue is leading in this so this should make you see how much power is in the tongue.
- “And it is set on fire of hell.” That should scare people. Watch those little tongues. They have power.
[10] James 3:7-8 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
- Have you ever noticed that animals don’t speak as we speak? They are tamed.
- They have been tamed of mankind. Every kind has been tamed of mankind. All the beasts.
- “But the tongue can no man tame! It is an unruly evil. Full of deadly poison.”
- The tongue isn’t tamed as beasts are tamed. No man can tame the tongue in this way.
And listen, don’t be fooled by the so-called “tame tongues” out there. There are people with soft and kind words.
- They deceive you with their lies. Jehovah’s Witness are so nice. “Come with us to the Assembly Hall.”
- What they actually mean is “Come with us to Satan’s temple.” Deceivers.
- For example, a man contacts me through the website telling me that Adam is not the first man created.
[11] 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
- The Bible says, “THE FIRST MAN ADAM.” Who is the first man to ever live? He was not born of a woman.
- The Bible says he is the son of God. Why?
- Because he is the first man to ever live. He was made a living soul.
[12] Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
- I called him a clown too after giving him the Scriptures and him telling me I am taking them out of context.
- What is with that? These people don’t even understand context.
- Is the genealogy that God gives of man taken out of context when Adam is shown as the first man?
- When God tells me that Adam is the first man in many different Scriptures, I take them out of context???
- Adam didn’t have an earthly father and mother. God made Adam. This makes him the son of God.
The man tells me that I am the most disrespectful man after he tells me he was Jehovah’s Witness, a Presbyterian, a Pioneer for years upon years.
- He says, “I have baptized people. You need to respect me. You are the most insolent man I have ever met in all my years.”
- Insolent means a rude and arrogant lack of respect. Should I respect this false preacher?
- He makes up fairy tales. His tongue is the offending tongue. Who is the disrespectful one?
- I told him he has met a more disrespectful man. Look in the mirror.
Changing God’s words is disrespect of God. He won’t tell me how to be saved after I asked him multiple times.
- The Gospel separates the false preachers from preachers who speak truth.
- Ask the people who tell you lies how to be saved. Ask if you need to do any works to be saved.
- You’ll find out the truth when you keep asking. The truth creates many enemies. God says that it will.
- That man speaks no nicely to everyone, but his tongue is actually a weapon.
- His tongue, he thinks, turns him into a minister of light but it’s obvious he works for Satan.
- And the Bible directly commands us to call these people out and beware of these people.
Then, they try to take the words of the Bible, twist them, and use them against us.
- “You can’t talk to me like that. Respect me.” Hey, I will not respect someone who lies about the Bible.
- His is most likely a child of the devil. Stay away from me.
[13] James 3:9-10 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
- We do hate or reject people who hate God’s words. We are not to curse men who are doing good.
- We are not to curse men over mistakes that they make.
- For example, I’ve had people get mad at me for honking when they are about to hit us head on.
I pay great attention when I’m driving on small roads.
- I don’t know if a person is going to swerve back over at the last minute and not hit us head on.
- I honk as they get closer. They swerve back over on their side and then throw up their fist at me.
- They curse me for driving the right way.
I don’t cut the curves and run people off the road that are in the curve.
- If I do it on accident, I’m not going to curse the other person. I am going to say, “I am sorry. I messed up.”
- We all mess up so have mercy on people. False preachers don’t receive mercy.
- They are a different category. Don’t attempt to use the Bible the wrong way.
We are to be kind and nice to people. We are to live peaceably with all men as much as possible.
- When false preachers come at me calling me a liar, there is no peace.
- They started that fight with God long before they came after me. I didn’t start the contention.
- God will finish them off. I tell them to go somewhere else.
I have not once had a person come to me first with false doctrine and then actually change their mind after I quote them all the Scriptures.
- Not once. One time a pastor did say, “You may be right on that one.” He came at me first.
- I didn’t come to him yelling and telling him he’s wrong. They come to me telling me I am wrong.
- If the Scriptures don’t convince you, what will I be able to do.
- When Jesus clearly and simply says something and you won’t believe that, what will I be able to do?
- NOTHING. Believe what He says or not. If not, you will be cursed.
But people, for other things in life, don’t bless them and curse them with the same tongue.
- We bless God with this tongue. And then we do other evil things with this same tongue.
- “These things ought not so to be.” Use your tongue for good. Preaching against evil is good.
- False preachers will tell you that you can’t preach against them because they are men of god.
- They aren’t. Preaching against evil is good.
[14] James 3:11-12 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
- The example of your tongue is continued here. A fountain doesn’t send sweet and bitter water.
- A mouth shouldn’t be sending forth good and evil. A fig tree can’t bear olive berries and figs.
- A fountain can’t yield salt water and fresh water BOTH. It’s one or the other.
- The same should be of our tongues. We need to speak good things from the word of God.
- This doesn’t equal POSITIVE THINGS all the time. I said good things.
Negative things from God’s words are good things.
- For example, if I preach the Gospel to children and tell them they will go to hell unless they believe in Jesus Christ, this is good.
- This is a warning. God commands us to warn people with the truth. This is good from your mouth.
The world thinks it is bad to do this. So-called “Christians” think it is wrong.
- No, the fear of God helps to save people. The fear of God leads to wisdom.
- So, don’t equate positivity with good things. The truth equals good things. God’s word equals good.
- For example, when God threatens to wipe dung on the face of priests, it is a good thing.
[15] James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- Who is a man who listens to God words and has knowledge among you? Where are they?
- If they are here or there, let him show it. People hate me for preaching against things.
- God commands us to do this. He commanded Jonah to do this. He helps us.
- Peter did this. Stephen did this. Paul did this. Let him show his words. If you have faith, show me.
- This is what James Chapter 2 teaches. Show me your faith by your works.
- Do these good works with meekness of wisdom. Wisdom is meek. Mildness and humility.
- We humble ourselves to God. We tell the truth. False preachers don’t like to be rebuked.
A proper rebuking only comes with the truth. People attempt to rebuke me all the time.
- They will tell me that good works are required for salvation. This is not a rebuke of God.
- But I’ve been told on the website that “I am here to rebuke your false teaching.”
- Show me where it’s false using the Scriptures and not a fairy tale.
- For example, Abraham’s bosom as a compartment in hell is a fairy tale.
- Hell has never included a place called paradise. If so, show me. Look up all the Scriptures about hell.
- There is no paradise in hell. Not once and definitely not before Jesus died on the cross.
When we go to others to preach the Gospel, we go to them with the word of God which is the truth.
- We go to them in meekness and humility. I don’t go to their door telling them how evil they are.
- I don’t go to them yelling that they better change their ways right now or die.
- But somehow people accuse me of being the most rude, arrogant, and disrespectful person.
They are the ones that came in rudeness, arrogance, and disrespect of God’s words.
- There is no greater arrogance than to attempt to change the word of God and act like He said it.
- They say, “God did say that salvation is of works. God did say Abraham climbed inside his chest cavity.”
- They are liars. Is my tongue doing wrong when I call them liars for making up fairy tales about God?
- Who is not being humble? Who is not being meek? Go ahead and accuse me. I tell you the truth.
[16] James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
- When you have bitter envy and strife in your heart, you will lie against the truth.
- People accuse me of being all of these things. They constantly come at me and gnash with their teeth.
- I tell them that they are actually talking about themselves. I am accustomed to this now.
- It’s a normal occurrence. But, I am not lying against the truth.
People come to me with lies because they look for me to agree with them. I won’t agree with lies.
- I will agree with the truth, though.
- Because I won’t agree with lies, such as Calvinism, they create the envy and strife.
- Because I won’t agree with the Southern Baptist false doctrine of this long process of sanctification, they accuse me of creating the strife.
I don’t have bitter envy. I don’t think that I am better than another man. A man can agree with God or not.
- If not, I don’t want to talk to you unless you want to change your mind about His words.
- For example, I don’t want to debate with someone in a false religion.
- I will show you what God says multiple times. You continue to reject what He says. I’m done.
- I for sure don’t envy you. I am not creating the strife. You are creating the strife by rejecting God’s words.
- If someone tells me that abortion is good, I don’t envy you at all. I just don’t want you around me.
- Are you going to murder me too? If you agree with murdering a baby, you’ll probably murder me quickly.
[17] James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
- The wisdom that false preachers believe they have is not from above.
- When a Jehovah’s Witness attempts to teach me truth, they must change God’s words.
- We know that God’s word is truth and the truth is what saves people from death and hell.
- “Sanctify them through thy truth: Thy word is truth.” And this is what we want coming from your tongues.
Not truth and lies. Not lies at all. All liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
- We don’t want to be associated with any of those things that lead people to the lake of fire.
- I hate lying. I hate lying false preachers. Get out of here. I don’t want you around here.
- Our website is not a place to debate your lies. I don’t welcome you to teach lies on the website.
- Make your own with all the lies you want. Don’t come telling me that that Adam wasn’t the first man.
- If you’ll say that, what else do you teach? It will only get worse from there.
The wisdom from false preachers is earthly, sensual, devilish. Devils transform themselves into angels of light.
- And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
- Joyce Meyer attempted to do the same with her smile. Kenneth Copeland did the same.
- Joel Osteen is so positive and happy all the time.
- He would never call someone a liar except someone who tells the truth.
- They love to flatter you so you’ll agree with them no matter what they say. Deceitful workers.
They are sensual and devilish. A Pentecostal church is devilish. They play on your emotions.
- Women believe they are worshipping God when they cry as they sing Hillsong music in church.
- “It’s just so beautiful. I can just feel god here with me as I cry for no reason.”
- Heavy metal music can make you feel great emotion. Country music does the same for people.
- Rap music does the same. Does this mean all this music is good? No, it doesn’t.
This is devilish. I don’t play on your emotions here. I preach what God says.
- We worship God in spirit and in truth here. How? We tell you the truth.
- Worshipping in Spirit, unlike a Baptist church around here believes, isn’t jumping up on chairs to preach.
- It’s not having altar calls and telling people to come up to the front and cry it out with God.
- All of these things are not from above. They are earthly, sensual, and devilish.
[18] James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
- Strife and envy comes from lies. Many false preachers want you to covet after them.
- “If you want to be like me, just do what I do.” I don’t want you to do what I do.
- I want you to do what God tells you to do. But they create confusion and every evil work.
We don’t need basketball courts at church. We don’t need more money for a fitness center.
- We don’t need a coffee shop, bookstores, and other merchandise shops in church.
- We are not to sell things at church. All of these things create confusion for people.
- And yes, they are evil works. There is no other word for them.
- They draw people in with all these earthly things and then never give them the actual Gospel either.
- They preach another gospel which is not another but they pervert the Gospel of Christ.
- It doesn’t bother them to change God’s words.
[19] James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
- Wisdom from above is pure. FIRST IT IS PURE. Then it is peaceable. Liars don’t like His words.
- But His words actually bring peace. They bring the war. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
- If everyone would follow God’s words, there would be great peace on this earth.
- God’s wisdom is gentle. It’s easy to be intreated or be respected and treated properly.
- When you follow God’s words, you get respect. You are treated with peace and gentleness.
God’s wisdom is full of mercy and good fruits. What is good fruit? A saved soul is good fruit.
- A saved soul who follows God’s words is good fruit.
- “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
- God’s words bring good fruits. His words are full of mercy.
- When He takes someone’s life, you know they deserved it. He had mercy on them.
King Saul killed 85 priests of God. He smote men, woman, children, sucklings, and all the animals in an entire city because a man gave David some bread.
- God was merciful unto Saul. God is merciful unto all of us. He is full of mercy.
- The wisdom from above is without partiality. There is no respect of persons with God.
- Evil people don’t like that. False preachers hate when I don’t respect their person.
- “I’ve been a Jehovah’s Witness for 60 years. I’ve been a Presbyterian for 60 years.”
- “I am this. I am that.” They say these things because they want respect.
God’s words do not respect a person. They do not respect titles. He does not change judgment based on a person.
- “Well, I am king Saul. God cannot do anything to me. I will do what I want.” And you see what happens.
- God’s words do not include hypocrisy or telling others to do what you want.
A lady told me that I should be watching for the rapture that will happen soon.
- I said, “No, I don’t need to do that. I watch for all the other things to happen first.”
- “I am not going to stand outside all day and night and watch in the clouds for Jesus to come.”
- Is that what you’re telling me to do? Are you out there watching in the clouds? No, you aren’t.
- Why don’t you go stand outside all day and night watching in the clouds? Hypocrite.
God tells me exactly what to watch for in His words. His words are truth.
- If those things haven’t happened yet, I know the rapture isn’t coming soon.
- If I haven’t been through the tribulation and the sun and moon haven’t been darkened, I don’t need to look up and watch the clouds.
I’ve got other things to do that God wants us to do. He doesn’t tell me to stand there and watch for His coming.
- These others say, “Watch, because Jesus can come back at any moment.”
- No, He can’t come back at any moment until the tribulation is over and sun and moon are darkened.
- THEN, HE CAN COME BACK AT ANY MOMENT.
- He tells me to watch for all of these other things to happen first. And I am watching closely.
- But I am not standing and looking at the sky like I have a mental issue all day and all night.
[20] Matthew 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
- How can anyone who trusts the word of God, without partiality, say that Jesus doesn’t come back after the tribulation?
- God doesn’t care what the pre-tribulation rapture people say or what I say.
- All of this happens according to what He said a long time ago. My words don’t change what will happen.
The pre-tribulation rapture people can try to invent a pre-tribulation rapture all they want.
- It won’t happen, though.
- God is not going to change His words so the pre-tribulation rapture people can be right.
- His words are written in heaven. They will never change. They are a rock that cannot be moved.
- They cannot be broken. This is why we trust in His words.
And because we trust in His words, we will get called arrogant. “Oh, you think you’re never wrong.”
- False accusation. False witness. I never said I am never wrong.
- When it comes to His words, though, I trust what He says.
- I don’t say, “Well, I am not sure if He’s coming back after the tribulation.”
- I know for sure He’s coming back after the tribulation but before God’s wrath is poured out.
- I know for sure that the rapture happens at the second coming of Jesus Christ.
- I know for sure that altar of souls in Revelation Chapter 6 are not all physical Jews.
- I know for sure that we are only saved by grace through faith NOT OF WORKS at any point.
If you want to call me arrogant because I put my trust in God’s words, then so be it.
- This chapter teaches me to do so. I will speak His words. If I am arrogant to you, so be it.
- If you actually knew me, you would know that I hate arrogance. I am not arrogant.
- But you say that I am because I teach people to trust what God says.
When you call me arrogant for not agreeing with you when you say that Adam was not the first man created, you would be the arrogant one.
- You came looking for a fight from the beginning. I trust the Scriptures. I don’t trust you.
- If that’s a lack of respect for you because I trust God’s words over you, then so be it.
- Still, I choose God’s words. His words are wisdom from above. We are here on this earth.
- A wise man will trust His words BECAUSE they are from above. His words endure forever.
- Pure words. Peaceable words. Gentle words. It’s easy to accept His words. They are full of mercy.
- Good fruits result from His words. No respect of persons. No hypocrisy.
[21] James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
- We want to make peace through His words. Agree with His words, and we are at peace.
- Why do so many people want to argue over His words? They put words in His mouth that He didn’t say.
- They offend with their tongue. We want to sow the fruit of righteousness.
- We want to tell people the truth so they can be saved eternally.
- When a person is saved, this brings peace with God for that person.
- This is the only peace I care about. I want peace with God.
I want peace with man but that only comes through man believing God.
- When the new heaven and earth comes, everyone has a new and sinless body. Complete peace.
- We hope and we wait for that day. It’s a long ways off from here, but we cannot wait.
Let’s pray.
