[2] The title of the sermon: “CHARACTERISTICS OF PEOPLE REJECTED BY GOD.”
- I get many questions from people who believe they might be rejected by God.
- There are sins within the Bible that are unforgiveable.
- Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is one of those unforgiveable sins.
- Never believing in Jesus Christ is an unforgiveable sin that sends you to hell.
- Some people think they have committed these sins so they believe they are rejected by God.
We know that God has loved all people. For example, God has loved all the little children of this world.
- God 100% absolutely loves all babies. He continues to love people, but there can be an end to it.
- All names are written in the book of life from the foundation of the world.
- But names can be removed from the book of life. These names are removed when God rejects people.
[3] Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
- Think of the man who takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy in Revelation.
- His name was in the book of life. His part WAS in the book of life.
- When one takes away from the words of the book of Revelation, God removes his part out of the book.
- This man was never saved because you cannot lose salvation.
There are the names of the unsaved written in the book of life. Saved and unsaved are written there.
- The names of the unsaved can be removed if rejected. The names of the saved cannot be removed.
- Once saved, those names are never taken out of the book of life. Your part cannot be removed.
But, if you are not saved, you can be rejected by God and your name can be removed.
- This means you will NEVER be able to be saved if your part is taken out of the book of life.
- Taking away from the words of the Bible is a very serious sin and very dangerous.
- Do that to the Book of Revelation, and the warning is right there. You will become rejected by God.
[4] Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
- Names can be blotted out of the book of life because there are unsaved people written within.
- They still have a chance if their name is included there in the book of life. If not, they are rejected.
- He that overcometh is he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God.
- Once you believe on Jesus Christ, God says your name will not be removed from the book of life.
[5] 1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- For the people who ask if they are rejected, there is a very simple answer.
- Do you believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the “THE” Savior of the world?
- If you believe that, then you aren’t rejected. Do you believe on Jesus Christ?
- When it comes to making it to heaven, do you believe IN Jesus Christ ALONE?
- When you believe He is the Son of God, then you know that He has all power and all might.
- Of course He can save you if you believe He is the SON OF GOD.
Again, if you think you are rejected by God, do you believe on the Son of God who is Jesus Christ?
- I can’t tell you if you believe on Him. I can explain what it means to believe on Him.
- But I can’t tell you if you do. But you can. You can know whether you believe or not.
- For example, I know 100% for sure that I have believed on Jesus Christ. You don’t know that I have.
- You can only go by what I tell you. But I know that I have.
Believing ON Jesus Christ does not equal believing that water baptism gets you to heaven.
- Believing on Jesus Christ does not equal repenting of sin.
- Believing on Jesus Christ does not equal prayer, church attendance, offering, or anything else.
- Feeding the homeless doesn’t equal believing on Jesus Christ.
- NOTHING equals believing on Jesus Christ BUT believing on Jesus Christ. That’s it.
Add anything else to Jesus Christ, and you’re saying that Jesus is not enough.
- His life, His death, His burial, His resurrection, His soul going to hell, His body, and His blood saves you.
- It’s all Him. You aren’t any part of “THE SAVIOR” of the world. He is the Messiah. He is the Christ.
- My name is not Josh Christ or Joshua Christ. His name is Jesus Christ. He is the Christ.
- We aren’t. So, we put all of our trust in Him because we know He has all power and all might.
- We know that He will save us once we believe in Him just as He promises us.
[6] John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
- You can be passed from death to life for good by believing “IN” God. God the Father sent Jesus Christ.
- He sent His Son to die for us. His Son is everlasting. He is life. All of creation was made by Him.
- You are only alive right now hearing this because of God. He gave you this life. You must be important.
Now, it’s your choice to believe in Jesus Christ right now or not to believe in Jesus Christ.
- If you aren’t saved, you are playing a dangerous game. If saved, you are safe now in the hands of God.
- If you are not passed from death unto life, then you are not yet safe. You are not yet a child of God.
- This happens once you believe ON Jesus Christ. If you won’t believe, you might get another chance.
- And then you might not get another chance.
- The Bible speaks of final opportunities for people to be saved.
[7] Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
- This is a person who is close to being saved. They are almost to repentance or a change of mind.
- They understand because they are enlightened. They know they must ONLY believe on Jesus Christ.
- The Holy Ghost is there because no one can be saved without Him being there.
- They have tasted of the GOOD WORD OF GOD. They know that the GIFT OF GOD is eternal life.
- They understand that salvation only comes through Jesus Christ ALONE.
- This is their last chance. If they shall fall away, it will be impossible for them to be saved.
[8] Hebrews 6:7-8 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
- These people are now rejected by God. They are nigh or near unto cursing.
- Hell is coming as soon as the die. They only have a little time left before they find themselves in hell.
- Notice that this happens or occurs BEFORE someone dies.
There are 3 groups of people walking around in this world today.
- Group 1 is the unsaved. Group 2 is the saved. Group 3 is the rejected.
- And you might say, “Are you making all of this up?” No, my doctrine is straight from the Bible.
[9] Matthew 13:35-36 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
[10] Matthew 13:37-40 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
- When this world ends, the 3 groups will turn into 2 groups. Right now, the unsaved have a chance.
- When that time is expired, the unsaved will be placed into the group of the rejected.
- All people who are currently in hell ran out of time to be saved at some point and were rejected by God.
- The unsaved need to get into the saved group right now before it’s too late. And yes, it can be too late.
For example, some unbelievers might be listening to this. They might be laughing and mocking.
- This could be their last chance. The end of their chances could be now.
- God doesn’t tell us EVER that everyone has the chance to be saved up until they take their last breath.
- Some people might, but there are many rejected people that can’t be saved up until their last breath.
For example, the thief on the cross played it pretty close. He was playing a dangerous game.
- He was going to be dead and in hell in just a few hours.
- But, thank God he changed his mind and believed on Jesus Christ. The other thief didn’t make it.
- He continued to mock Jesus Christ. He was probably already rejected by God and couldn’t believe.
Let’s take a close look at some of the characteristics of people rejected by God.
- The Bible gives us many examples to learn from, and we’re going to use examples from the Bible.
- This is how we learn. We search the Scriptures. We compare Scripture to Scripture.
If you want to learn more and study this topic in the Bible on your own, there are many words you can search.
- Reprobate is one of those words. Reprobate means rejected by God.
- Child of the devil is a phrase you can search out in the Scriptures. Children of belial is another one.
- The Bible speaks of enemies of the cross of Christ. There are children of the devil out there.
- This was their choosing. God loved them. He gave them chances. But they rejected Him again and again.
- Then, He rejected them. We can see the characteristics of these people when we search the Scriptures.
Many Christians today believe that anyone who uses the name of God or Jesus Christ is good.
- “If they call themselves a Christian, they must be good.”
- “If they say they follow the God of the Bible, they must be good.”
- Did you know, though, the Bible teaches us different? We go to John Chapter 8.
- And people get angry at me for preaching against so-called “Christians” or followers of “God.”
- But, guess what? It didn’t come from me. It comes from Jesus Christ.
[11] John 8:37-38 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
- We have these people who say they are good people because they are from Abraham’s seed.
- These people call themselves Jews but are not. They are religious and use the name of God.
[12] John 8:39-41 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
- These people are saying that they are children of God. They say, “We have one Father, even God.”
- In other words, they proclaim that God is their Father. They proclaim that they are children of God.
- There’s many people in so-called “Christian” churches today that do the same thing.
- But what tells us that these people are not of God? Let’s keep reading and find out.
[13] John 8:42-43 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
- Jesus says, “If God were your Father, ye would love me.” Love is following God’s commandments.
- His commandments are very clear. For example, homosexuality is AGAINST God’s laws.
- If you support homosexuality, you do not love.
- God says men with men and women with women is an abomination. He says so very clearly.
- God says that men with men and women with women is strange. The definition of queer is strange.
[14] Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
- God made an example out of sodomites or homosexuals who go after strange flesh.
- They all suffered the vengeance of eternal fire. All of them, except Lot and some of his family, died.
- Why? Because they were sodomites. God hates sodomites. Greatly hating that which is evil is love.
- But, a characteristic of reprobates or people rejected by God is that they can’t understand God’s words.
- God gives us the definition of love within the Bible. Love is following God’s commandments.
And yet, the reprobates can’t hear what God clearly says. Supporting homosexuality is hate.
- The reprobates will say that God is hateful, or they create their very own version of God who loves them.
- And then they act is if their Father is God. But they don’t listen to Him at all. They hate His words.
- And this is exactly what they do to Jesus Christ in John Chapter 8. Let’s keep reading.
[15] John 8:44-45 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
- Jesus CLEARLY says that these religious and oh so righteous Pharisees are not of God.
- God is not their Father. Jesus, who speaks truth, says: “Ye are of your father the devil.”
- “The lusts of your father ye will do. There is no truth in him.”
- Jesus tells the rejects the truth, but they won’t believe Him.
For example, a very clear Scripture is John 6:47. Jesus says, “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
- That’s very easy to understand. But the reprobates will say that Jesus is lying.
- The people rejected by God won’t listen to Jesus Christ. They think they know better than Him.
[16] John 8:46-47 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
- Jesus tells them again that they are not of God. So, listen, to this.
- When someone uses the name of God and Jesus Christ, this is not proof they are not reprobate.
- Judas Iscariot was a reprobate. He was with Jesus Christ. He most likely preached God’s words.
There are false preachers and false prophets mentioned throughout the entire Bible.
- Do you think all of them just went away? No, they didn’t. They will wax worse and worse.
- They deceive and are deceived themselves. They are rejected by God.
- For example, I would guess that Joel Osteen is a reprobate. I would guess Joyce Meyer is a reprobate.
- I would guess most of the preachers around here are reprobates. I can only guess as I don’t know for sure.
Other preachers will say that I am wrong. We’ll see.
- They mention Jesus all the time, but yet, they know nothing about Him.
- Ask them to tell you more about Jesus Christ. Is Jesus Christ “THE” Savior of the world or not?
- What MUST I do to be saved? Must I be baptized in water to be saved?
- Do I call upon my water baptism to save me? What is baptism? The Bible clearly teaches these things.
- Can the false preachers answer these questions correctly? Can faith alone save me? ASK THEM.
- Their answers will resemble those of a reprobate.
[17] Jeremiah 6:30 Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.
- God rejects these people who lie about Him and His words. They are worse than drug dealers.
- The drug dealers aren’t out there lying about God and His words. They are selling drugs.
- The false preachers are selling lies and sending people to hell.
- Are drug dealers evil? Oh yes they are. But false preachers are even more vile and wicked than that.
[18] John 8:48-51 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. 50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. 51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
- These rejects who are children of the devil accuse Jesus of having a devil or an unclean spirit.
- He has the full anointing of the Holy Spirit within Him. This is called blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
- He has the HOLY SPIRIT, and they tell Him that He has an evil spirit. They blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
So far we know that reprobates won’t listen to God’s actual words. They act as if they know what God says.
- But they have no clue. They won’t listen to the simple and clear words of Jesus Christ.
- They mock Him and blaspheme the Holy Spirit. For example, look at it the other way around.
Let’s say someone is babbling in a church and acting as if they have the Holy Spirit. “He’s speaking in tongues.”
- They fall on the floor and flop around as an unclean spirit is controlling them.
- They don’t have the Holy Spirit. They have an unclean spirit. But the people in that church say:
- “Look at him. He is FILLED with the Holy Ghost. Look at her. She is filled with the Holy Ghost.”
- There is not one example of that trash they do within the Bible. They blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
And I have exactly zero issue telling these people the truth. There is no example of what they do within the Bible.
- They are not listening to God’s words. They could care less what He says.
- If they aren’t yet reprobate, they sure do resemble reprobates. They think they are good.
- The Bible tells us there are none good.
[19] John 8:52-53 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. 53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
- They tell the Son of God that He isn’t greater than Abraham or the prophets who are dead.
- Many of these reprobates out there think themselves to be God and like God.
- They love to lift themselves up. They love the chief seats, the high places, and power.
[20] John 8:54-56 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
- Do you love to hear the words of Jesus Christ? Do you rejoice to come to church and learn?
- We study the words of Jesus Christ. Do you rejoice over that? If you do, you aren’t a reprobate.
- Do you roll your eyes when someone gets out a Bible? You might be a reprobate.
- Do you not want to hear what God says at all? You’re running out of chances.
The children of Abraham are children of faith who rejoice to hear Jesus Christ and His teaching.
- Reprobates act as if they know God, but they don’t know Him. Make sure you see these things.
- In most churches now, they don’t want to hear God’s words. Or, they twist His words.
[21] John 8:57-59 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
- Jesus clearly says, “I AM GOD. Before Abraham was, I am.” And they try to stone Him.
- No fear of God at all. Would you try that? If so, you might be a reprobate.
- If you think you can kill the Son of God, you are a total fool and an idiot.
- They killed Him, but He arose from the dead in His body. He was resurrected from the dead.
Death cannot hold the Son of God. The heavens, the earth, and definitely hell cannot contain Him.
- We’re seeing characteristics of reprobates. They won’t hear God’s words.
- They mock God. They reject God. They blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
- They magnify the word of man over God. They will never choose God’s side.
“But they go to church.” Hey, I don’t care. The churches with false preachers are worse than the drug corner.
- If you don’t think so, maybe you aren’t hearing what Jesus Christ just said.
- These were the religious people. Do you understand that? There’s a lot of religious reprobates.
For example, I think Dave Smith of Clay Mills Baptist Church in Lexington, KY is a reprobate.
- He told me that God doesn’t hate anyone, reject anyone, or throw anyone into hell. What a fool.
- If he’s not a reprobate, he sure acts like one as he calls God a liar within His words.
- He acts like he knows what the Bible says, but he obviously has no clue.
- I would guess there’s more reprobates in the so-called “Christian” churches than outside of them.
- What else can we learn from the Bible? Let’s go to Acts Chapter 13.
[22] Acts 13:7-8 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
- Notice exactly what’s happening here.
- There was a man named Sergius Paulus who desired to hear the word of God.
- For example, you might be giving someone the Gospel and they are listening. They desire to hear.
- Then, along comes someone like Elymas the sorcerer. They seek to turn that person away from the faith.
Let’s say you have children who are listening to the word of God and then along comes an adult and stops it.
- Been there and done that. The adult doesn’t want their children to hear the word of God.
- Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. They turn people from the faith.
- They turn people from the word of God. Watch what the next verse says.
[23] Acts 13:9-10 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
- Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost, looks upon this sorcerer and calls him a child of the devil.
- He is the ENEMY of all righteousness. He is not of God. He is a reprobate.
- A characteristic of people rejected by God are they turn people from the word of God.
- They turn people from the faith. What happens to this sorcerer? Next verse.
[24] Acts 13:11-12 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
- These rejects out there in churches are teaching that God would NEVER do something like this.
- “God would never make someone blind. That’s the work of the devil.” And again, they blaspheme God.
- God rejects people. God makes people blind so they can never see the word of God again.
- They will never hear and understand the word of God.
[25] John 12:37-38 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
[26] John 12:39-40 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
- There are people who CANNOT BELIEVE on Jesus Christ. Why is that? They are rejected by God already.
- He’s already given them plenty of chances. They rejected Him, and they become reprobate.
- Their heart is hardened. They hardened their heart against God first. And then He finishes it off.
- He blinds them, hardens their heart, and rejects them for good.
That’s the entire point of the story of the blind man in John Chapter 9. The false preachers can’t see any of this.
- They don’t understand that they are just like the Pharisees. But they think they are great.
- A false preacher reprobate would say something like this: “I AM ON A HIGHER RUNG THAN YOU.”
- “You don’t need to listen to the word of God. Just listen to me.” That’s a characteristic of a reject.
- These preachers and so-called “pastors of God” are not your friends. Understand that.
[27] Philippians 3:17-19 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
- The Bible says that there are many enemies of the cross of Christ around you.
- Did you notice the characteristics of these people in this Scripture? They go against the words of the Bible.
- They walk contrary unto the clear word of God. “Whose God is their belly.”
- “Whose glory is in their shame. Who mind earthly things.” They care for this world and not for God.
- They are more worried about losing money, or power, or homes, or cars, or jobs than Jesus Christ.
[28] Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
- People rejected by God will preach another gospel which is not the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
- You don’t want to cleave to these people at all.
- If anyone adds anything to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you need to get away from them.
[29] Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
- A characteristic of a reprobate is that they seek to please men rather than God.
- And listen, there’s a lot of people out there serving men and women who aren’t yet reprobate.
- But keep on serving men and women over God, and you might end up rejected by God.
“This man has been a great public servant for his entire life. He has served others for 70 years.”
- Hey, guess what? That man might be headed for hell. We are not here to serve man.
- We are here to serve God. Don’t allow the world to deceive you.
- “He was a great man because he served the public.” That doesn’t get you to heaven. Be careful.
Remember, that God is the one who decides to reject people so they can never be saved. And He’s right.
- Cain was a reprobate. Esau was a reprobate. What characteristics did Esau have?
- What did Esau do? The Bible gives us details on this reprobate.
- And remember, God doesn’t reject babies. He rejects these people AFTER they reject Him.
- Babies don’t reject God. As they grow up, they might reject God. But God is patient
- But they aren’t rejected as babies as Calvinists teach. That happens later. Esau wasn’t always a reject.
[30] Romans 9:13-14 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
- God clearly says multiple times in the Bible that HE HATED ESAU. A reprobate would say:
- “God didn’t hate Esau.” They try to twist the Scriptures. But they can’t. Only the unsaved will be deceived.
- A person rejected by God would say that God was unrighteous in hating Esau.
- God says, “Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God. God forbid.”
- In other words, God was right when He hated Esau. He must have a good reason for hating Esau.
[31] Malachi 1:2-3 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, 3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
- Again, God hated Esau. But why did He hate Esau?
[32] Hebrews 12:16-17 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
- I don’t care what any preachers thinks of this Scripture. The interpretation I give matches Scriptures.
- I compare Scripture with Scripture. GOD HATED ESAU. He laid his mountains and heritage to waste.
- Why? He was a fornicator in terms of the worship of God. He didn’t worship God Almighty.
He went after false gods. He was a profane person. He would have inherited the blessing. He didn’t.
- What did he get instead? REJECTION. “He was rejected.” He sought repentance carefully with tears.
- But he found no place of repentance. Why was that? Because he was already rejected.
- He was blinded by God. He sought repentance still but couldn’t believe on God as Savior of the world.
- When the Bible says he was a profane person, that’s what the Bible means.
- If you study profane in the Bible, do you know what you find first?
[33] Leviticus 18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
- Profane is not a light word used by the Bible. ESAU WAS A PROFANE PERSON. He was evil and wicked.
- “But he was nice to his brother and had lots of money.” Yeah, rejects can do that and have that too.
- God says Esau was rejected. Don’t be a fornicator spiritually. Don’t go after false gods.
- Don’t be a fornicator physically and have sexual relationships before marriage.
- These are things that can turn you into a profane person. You don’t want to be a profane person.
- You might end up a reprobate who has been rejected by God.
[34] Proverbs 1:23-26 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
- God says that He makes His words known unto these people He has rejected.
- “I WILL MAKE MY WORDS KNOWN UNTO YOU.” He calls. They refuse. He stretches out His hand.
- They do not regard Him at all. He gives them counsel. He corrects them. They don’t like it.
- They don’t want anything to do with Him. Then He rejects them. Then He laughs at them.
- Then He mocks them. Is there unrighteousness with God? GOD FORBID. There is not. They deserve it.
These are not innocent people as the world attempts to portray them.
- For example, a prideful homosexual is a joke. They are an abomination. They are fools.
- But they don’t even get it. They are a laughing stock with God. They make Him sick.
- They abuse each other constantly. God is not okay with these things.
[35] Proverbs 1:27-30 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
- Again, reprobates do not fear God. They won’t listen to God. They refuse Him. They reject Him.
- They mock Him. They laugh at Him. They might then turn and call for God, but they are already rejected.
[36] Proverbs 1:31-33 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. 33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
- They shall eat of the fruit of their own way. Their ways are evil so they shall eat the fruit of evil.
- There’s a lot of sicko people out there who are doing things that you wouldn’t even think of doing.
- They are nasty and profane people. They are filled with their own devices.
They didn’t want anything to do with God so He gives them up to their own nasty desires.
- People ask me, “Do you think I am rejected by God?” Well, have you believed on Jesus Christ?
- Can you believe on Him right now? If not, do all of these things describe you?
- If so, you’re probably a reprobate. And I don’t feel sorry for you. If God rejected you, I am with Him.
- He did a good job rejecting you. And you will be burning in hell. You hated Him for no reason.
- You knew the truth. He showed you the truth. And you rejected all of His goodness.
[37] Romans 1:16-18 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
- Salvation is to every one that BELIEVETH the Gospel of Christ. The Gospel is to all people.
- Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world. He died so you could be saved from death and hell.
- If none of this makes any sense to you, maybe God has already rejected you. “I don’t understand.”
- Why don’t you understand? Your Creator is Jesus Christ who is the Son of God. His Father is God.
He is good, perfect, holy, and righteous in everything that He does. He gave you life. You messed up.
- You sinned against God. You went against His commandments. Your penalty is death.
- If you die in your sin, the penalty is hell. You need a Savior. That Savior is Jesus Christ.
- He will forgive you of all sin that you’ve ever done and that you’ll ever do.
- He came to earth in the flesh to save us who are in the flesh.
He lived a perfect and sinless life. He was put to death but did nothing wrong.
- He is the sacrifice for your sins. His body was buried. His soul went to hell for you. He suffered for you.
- He arose from the dead in His body. His soul was resurrected from hell. Death cannot conquer Him.
- He proved He is the Savior of the world. Witnesses saw Him die and saw Him after He arose.
- Witnesses saw Him ascend into heaven. He sits on the right hand of His Father in heaven.
All you have to do to be saved is to believe on Him. You don’t have to live a perfect life. He already did it for you.
- You don’t have to die and go to hell. He already did that for you. Simply believe on Him alone.
- And He says that He will give you everlasting life right now. And that’s the end of it. You are saved.
- He showed you this truth. Now is the time to believe on Him.
[38] Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- Now, that is a good, good God. That is an amazing God, and He is your Creator. He has loved you.
- And He will continue to love you if you would simply trust in Him and His words.
- It’s easy to read, easy to listen, and easy to hear His words. Just listen to Him and trust Him. That’s it.
- There’s nothing easier than that. He already did all the work for you.
[39] John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- You don’t even have to do any work to be saved because He already did everything.
- But reprobates or people who have been rejected by God won’t take the gift of God.
- He is so good to all these people, but they reject Him every second of their life. It’s vile and profane.
- And yes, the reprobates deserve to be rejected by God. He’s righteous. They are not.
- A characteristic of a person rejected by God is they will never believe. And what happens to them?
[40] Romans 1:19-20 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
- False preachers who are rejected themselves will say, “God doesn’t reject anyone.”
- “God doesn’t give up on anyone.” Well, God says different. God shows them the truth.
- They are without excuse. What are some things these reprobates will do?
[41] Romans 1:21-23 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
- Rejects don’t glorify God. They might call their god Jesus but it’s not the Jesus of this Bible.
- 100% without a doubt Jesus doesn’t have long hair and wear a dress. This is abominable. He says so.
- Rejects profess themselves to be wise, but they become fools.
- They might even try to bang rocks together and believe that life will form from that. FOOLS.
Do you love to worship animals like your dog, birds, spiders, snakes? “I LOVE MY DOG SO MUCH.”
- “I would choose to save my fourfooted beast of a dog over a human being.” You might be a reject.
- Be very careful. Dogs are not here to worship, prioritize, and pamper like they are kings and queens.
- Do you dress your dog up, feed him before your husband, and make sure he gets your kisses first?
- Then you might be rejected by God. Do you prioritize your dog above the living God? FOOL.
[42] Romans 1:24-25 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
- Do you serve creation more than the Creator of all creation? This is a characteristic of reprobates.
- “But they are such a great person who has served creation more than the Creator.”
- Listen, they aren’t so great. God gives these types of people UP to uncleanness.
- “God doesn’t give up on anyone.” Well, He sure did right there false preachers.
Read the Bible Dave Smith. Reprobates dishonor their own bodies between themselves.
- They change the truth of God into a lie. They say, “God loves everyone no matter what.” FOOLS.
- They worship and serve the creature more than God. This includes men and women. They serve them.
- Does this sound like you? Then you might be rejected by God.
[43] Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
- Women who lust after women have VILE AFFECTIONS. Men who lust after men have VILE AFFECTIONS.
- These are characteristics of people rejected by God. They go against nature.
- Transvestites or transgender are going against NATURE. Homos go against nature. Queers are strange.
- If you are a man and burn in lust after another man, you are a reprobate. GOD SAYS SO.
- God gave them up. What else do you think that means? It means He has rejected them.
- If you attempt to change the simple and clear meaning of these Scriptures, you might be a reprobate.
Notice that verse 27 says that the men left the natural use of the women. They weren’t born that way.
- They became homos. God didn’t make them that way. They went that way on their own.
- They receive in THEMSELVES the recompence of their error. And you can see this in these rejects.
- They are fools and idiots. They are sick, nasty, and vile. They make me want to vomit. REJECTED BY GOD.
[44] Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
- Hey, listen, it’s not convenient for a man to be with a man or a woman to be with a woman.
- It’s not convenient to try to get operations to change your sex. It’s sick and it’s nasty.
- “Well, we didn’t have a choice.” Yes, that’s exactly what a reprobate mind would produce.
- Of course you had a choice. No one made you do any of those things.
Do these things describe you? Do you not like to retain God in your knowledge?
- If you hate to think about God, you might be rejected by God.
- If you love the true God, you aren’t rejected. If you want to do what He says, you aren’t rejected.
- God hasn’t given you up unless these characteristics match you.
[45] Romans 1:29-32 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
- Now, was God wrong to reject these people? No, He’s not wrong. He defines right and wrong.
- Whatever He does is right. That a guarantee. And I will support Him. He doesn’t need my support.
- I need His support. And I will go with His decisions and His words. If you hate me for that, I rejoice.
- I don’t care what you think about this sermon because I’m not here to please you.
- If all of the characteristics of a reprobate that we’ve went over today matches you, you’re in trouble.
Are you full of all of these things? Do you hate God? Do you hate Jesus Christ?
- Do you laugh at people who love Him? Do you mock people who have been saved by Jesus Christ?
- Do you laugh at people who know they can’t lose everlasting life such as the elder at my last church?
- Do you make nasty and explicit comments to children and women? Are you proud of these things?
- Do you love doing evil? Do you want others to join you?
- Do you know the judgement of God and not care? Then you might be rejected by God.
So, to make sure you aren’t rejected by God, it’s time to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
- This is the only sure fire way to know you are not rejected by God.
- To be saved, it’s faith alone that saves you. It’s not of works in any way, shape, or form.
- And it’s not of works before, during, or after salvation. Salvation is of the Lord.
- And that’s what the Lord means. He means exactly what He says. Just believe Him. You can trust Him.
Let’s pray.
