[2] The title of the sermon: “HOW CAN THESE THINGS BE?”
- There are many doctrines taught by God and Jesus Christ throughout the Bible that are difficult sayings.
- The entire Bible is filled with these sayings. I want to go through some of them with you today.
- And once you understand these things in the Bible, you’ll begin to understand more and more.
[3] John 3:3-5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[4] John 3:6-9 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
- Nicodemus asks, “How can these things be?” We know how these things can be.
- Jesus is teaching spiritual things through physical things so we can understand.
[5] John 3:10-12 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
- Earthly things are fleshly things or things of this world. Jesus is not of this world.
- He’s teaching us about heavenly things or spiritual things. The entire Bible does this.
[6] John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
- He gives us the next example of “how can these things be” right here in the same chapter.
- Many people will take this Scripture and attempt to say that there’s no man in heaven today.
- They will say that Jesus said that there is no one in heaven.
- Bible perversions such as the NIV change the words.
This Scripture doesn’t mean that no man has went to heaven or that no man has been lifted into heaven by God.
- We know Enoch was taken by God and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
- So we know there are men in heaven. We know saved souls that die go to heaven.
- This Scripture is simply telling you that Jesus is a man, and He came down from heaven.
- And He ascended up to heaven. HE CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN.
- Enoch didn’t come down from heaven and then ascend up into heaven. Enoch was a man.
- Elijah was a man. They weren’t from heaven. They don’t have the ability to do these things.
So, these people err not knowing the Scriptures. You need to know the entire Bible and all the Scriptures.
- If you think a Scripture means something but another Scripture says something different, you can’t continue with a false doctrine.
- In John Chapter 3, we know that being born of the water means being born of the flesh. Jesus explains.
- We wouldn’t continue the false doctrine of “being born of the water means being baptized in water.”
- We must use all the Scriptures to understand the doctrine that the Bible teaches.
People allow all of these things to take them the wrong way because they do not know the Scriptures.
- There is a lack of knowledge of all the Scriptures. We need to know all of them.
- When there’s a supposed contradiction, you need to search the Scriptures. ALL OF THEM.
- Not some of them. All of them. Reading the Bible over and over again helps you with this.
[7] John 7:40-43 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. 41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? 43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
- These people wouldn’t believe that Jesus was the Christ because they thought He came out of Galilee.
- “That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem.” So there was a division.
- They knew that “out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.” They didn’t even ask Jesus where He was born.
- They just assumed He came out of Galilee.
[8] Micah 5:2 But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
[9] Matthew 2:4-6 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
- Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea. He wasn’t born in Galilee.
- Don’t just assume these things. Read the Scriptures. Know the Scriptures. They tell you the truth.
- They wouldn’t believe in Jesus Christ because they had one little thing wrong. Don’t be like this.
- They said, “How can Jesus be the Christ if He didn’t come out of Bethlehem? How can this be?”
- They had it all wrong. It’s time to get things right.
We know that the Christ, from the Scriptures, is from everlasting. We just read the truth in Micah Chapter 5.
- We know that the Christ must be God. We know that Jesus Christ was born of a woman.
- How can He have a beginning but not have a beginning? Our beginning was when we were born.
[10] Mark 12:35-37 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David? 36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 37 David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.
- How can Jesus Christ be the Son of David but David Himself calls Him Lord?
- How can Jesus Christ be born of the flesh, not know everything, grow in wisdom, and also be God?
- How can these things be? Our fleshly mind can’t handle these things. A spiritual mind can.
- There’s a big difference there. Jesus explains these things to us throughout the Bible.
[11] John 8:52-53 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. 53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
[12] John 8:54-56 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
[13] John 8:57-58 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
- Jesus was born of Mary. He had brothers and sisters. “Is this not the carpenter’s Son.”
- “Is not His mother called Mary? And His brethren, James, Joses, and Simon, and Judas?”
- How can He be from everlasting to everlasting? You can’t ignore what Jesus said and call Him just a man.
- He said, “Before Abraham was, I am.” We know that Jesus spoke with Abraham face to face.
[14] Genesis 18:1-3 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
- The Lord Jesus Christ appeared unto Abraham, and Abraham rejoiced to see Jesus.
- He didn’t want Him dead. He didn’t want to crucify Jesus. He welcomed Jesus with everything he had.
- He prepared a meal for Jesus and those men. They ate a meal together. Jesus knew Abraham.
- And this was before He was born of the flesh. How can these things be? There’s only one answer.
- Jesus is the Son of God, and He is God.
[15] John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- We know that no man hath seen God at any time. But we know Abraham saw Jesus.
- We know that Jacob wrestled with God.
- Do you not think he saw the face of the man he wrestled with physically? He wasn’t a masked wrestler.
[16] Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
- How can these things be? No man hath seen God at any time.
- We know that Moses spoke to God face to face as a man speaketh unto his friend.
- We know that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and preached to people on this earth.
- We know that He spoke face to face with the woman at the well and the blind man.
- How can Jesus be God if no man hath seen God at ANY TIME? Do you see how the Bible works?
The Bible clearly means that no man hath seen God the Father at any time.
- “The only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.”
- The Bible tells you the meaning in the same Scriptures. We know Jesus was before Abraham.
- Why? Because Jesus was before all of creation. All things were created by Him and for Him.
- You can’t trip and fall over the Scriptures. You must study to shew thyself approved unto God.
- You wouldn’t take the Scriptures that clearly tell us Jesus is God and then say Jesus isn’t God.
Let me ask you this question: “If Jesus is God, does He have a father and a mother?”
- He is God so He has no father or mother. But yet, He has a Father and a mother.
- If He doesn’t have a father and a mother, how does He have brethren, brothers and sisters?
- But yet, He has brothers and sisters. How can these things be?
[17] Hebrews 7:1-3 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
- How can Jesus not have a beginning of days when He was born into this world?
- We are even told that “Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age.”
- We are told that Jesus is the Son of God but here we see that Jesus is “without father, without mother.”
- “Having neither beginning of days, nor end of life.” But we know Jesus died on the cross.
[18] Deuteronomy 32:40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
- Jesus lives forever. So did He die on the cross? All of these people err not knowing the Scriptures.
- Jesus is God. He died on the cross. He was fully dead. He says so in the Bible. But He’s not dead.
- So the logic of man doesn’t quite add up so people start using their own wisdom to help God’s words make sense.
- He doesn’t need our help. We do not create false doctrine because something doesn’t make sense to us.
- All of these things can be true because there are physical things and spiritual things.
Many will say that Jesus is God so He didn’t die on the cross. They will say that only the man part of Jesus died.
- Or they will say that the God part of Jesus didn’t die. Or they will say that Jesus in the flesh wasn’t God.
- But the Bible clearly says that GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH.
- Jesus is called Emmanuel, being interpreted, “GOD WITH US.” Jesus is God. How could He die?
- The answer is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God and God, died on the cross in His flesh. He died.
He gave up the Ghost or the Spirit within Him. He was dead. His soul went to hell, which is a spiritual death.
- People will call me a liar for saying that the soul of Jesus went to hell. God clearly says this in His words.
- How can all these things be? Jesus died but was God dead? God is three persons in one God.
- God wasn’t dead. God the Father wasn’t dead. The Holy Spirit wasn’t dead.
Think about what the modalists or the oneness heretics believe. What do they do with Jesus dying on the cross?
- What do they do with His soul going to hell? They will pray, “Thank you Father for dying on the cross.”
- WHAT??? God the Father didn’t die on the cross.
- They use the wisdom of man in an attempt to make all of these things make sense.
- If God the Father is the only ONE PERSON OF GOD in existence, and He died on the cross, this would mean God can die.
- But we know that God can’t die because He didn’t. He lifts up His hand and says, “I live forever.”
Jesus died but He didn’t stay dead. Death could not hold Him because He is God. He died willingly.
- Death didn’t come and take Him like death comes and takes us.
- It is good that we don’t know when we will die. Jesus knew. He’s in charge of everything including death.
- He died but He is alive forevermore.
[19] Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
[20] Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
- Jesus tells us multiple times that He was dead. Physically and spiritually, Jesus was dead.
- He took our place in hell. He took our penalty for sin which is death and hell.
- He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.
- How is all of this possible? IT IS POSSIBLE. God says so. You can believe Him or not.
- All of these things don’t have to match up with the wisdom of men, the scribes and the Pharisees.
- We use the wisdom of God, and we know for sure that all of these things are true.
Some people will take the Bible and say that we don’t need the Old Testament.
- They will say that God is different now. The New Testament quotes the Old Testament hundreds of times.
- Jesus Himself says that He didn’t come to destroy the law, or the prophets.
- “I am come not to destroy, but to fulfill.” People don’t understand these things.
[21] John 5:45-47 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
- Moses wrote of Jesus Christ.
- If you don’t believe the writings in the Old Testament, you won’t believe the words of Jesus Christ.
- Jesus says directly, “But if ye believe not his writing, how shall ye believe my words?”
- In other words, they all say the same thing. No one can fulfill the commandments of God.
- The only way anyone was ever saved and ever will be saved is by faith in Jesus Christ.
But yet, people will attempt to add works into salvation still. Works such as water baptism and repenting of sin.
- The law was written to prove to you that you’re a sinner. The thief on the cross didn’t get baptized.
- But yet, he went to heaven when he died. How can this be?
- People who think you must be baptized in water will make up all kinds of things.
- They will say that he died on the cross next to Jesus before the great commission.
- They’ll say that he died under the old testament.
[22] Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
- The Old Testament ended when Jesus died on the cross because God says so.
- The thief on the cross died after Jesus died. Jesus died first and quickly.
- So that alone disproves their supposed explanation.
The truth is that all people are saved by God’s grace through faith AND NOT OF WORKS.
- Abraham believed and it was accounted unto him for righteousness.
- The Scriptures cannot be broken or ignored.
- People will say that repent in the Bible always means to repent of sin.
- But God repented in the Bible more than anyone so how can these things be?
[23] Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
[24] 1 Samuel 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
- The Bible tells us that the Lord repented and then the Bible says the Lord doesn’t repent.
- Obviously, the word repent must have different meanings than to turn from sin.
- That’s how these things can be? There are different meanings of a word.
[25] Jonah 3:8-10 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? 10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
- We are not saved by works and the Bible clearly tells us that turning from our evil ways or sin is a work.
- “And God saw their works that they turned from their evil way.”
- This is 100% clear that repenting of sin is a work. And then the Bible says, “And God repented of the evil.”
- “That He had said that He would do unto them; and he did it not.”
So, let me ask you a question. Is doing evil a sin? What does it mean to do evil?
- God was going to do evil unto them. Does God sin? No, God cannot sin. He is perfect. He is good.
- So, is doing evil always a sin? You must understand what this means.
[26] Jeremiah 18:8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
- If a nation doesn’t turn from evil, the Lord will do evil to them. He repays. And it’s not sin.
[27] Amos 7:3 The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
- We know that God repents. The Bible tells us this. How can this be if repent means to turn from sin?
- Repent has different definitions just like every word in this language or tongue.
[28] Acts 2:37-38 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
- How can Peter tell these people to repent and then be baptized to receive remission of sins?
- He doesn’t. How can Peter say these things and Jesus Christ doesn’t say these things.
- Peter didn’t say to repent of all your sin, turn from all your sin, and get baptized in water to be saved.
- This would be preaching directly against the entire Bible. But people will only use this verse.
- FOR SOME REASON, THEY IGNORE HUNDREDS OF OTHER SCRIPTURES. They twist them.
They will choose 3, 4, or 5 Scriptures that they think says you must be baptized in water to be saved and ignore hundreds of others.
- Peter says, REPENT. It’s in between the commas. What could this mean?
- Does this mean to turn from your wicked ways? Does this mean to stop sinning completely?
- No, it doesn’t. There are different definitions of repent and repentance. Repent and believe the Gospel.
- Hey, change your mind and believe the Gospel. Peter just preached it to them. Did you not read?
- You didn’t believe in Jesus Christ. NOW, BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST. Repent.
And we know from hundreds upon hundreds of Scriptures that believing in Jesus Christ saves you.
- What book of the Bible is directly before the Book of Acts? Did you not read it? Maybe you should.
- The Gospel of John was written so that you might believe and believing ye might have life through his name.
- The word repent is not in the Gospel of John once but it was written so you might believe and have life.
- Jesus looks directly at people and says, “Believe in me and I give you everlasting life.”
- But then you really think Peter is preaching something different than that? How can this be?
- Do you think salvation is now of works when all the books of the Bible say that it isn’t?
You think Acts 2:38 is teaching a works based salvation? How can these things be? Maybe you’ve got it wrong.
- Maybe you should read Acts 2:21.
- “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
- This is Peter preaching. This is the same man that preaches Acts 2:38.
- Did he get confused? You call on the name of the Lord when you believe in the Lord.
- The Bible tells us these things in Romans Chapter 10.
- “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?”
Peter is preaching to repent or to change your mind and believe in Jesus Christ.
- Acts 19:4 says, “Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on Him which should come after Him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”
- John the Baptism preached repentance and then the Bible tells you what it means.
- REPENTANCE for salvation is believing on Jesus Christ. Peter is preaching the right things in Acts 2:38.
- You just missed it. You have it wrong. That’s how these things can be.
Is Peter telling people that baptism in water is forgiving them of their sin?
- We know the remission of sins only comes through Jesus Christ.
- Acts 10:43 says, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
- How can all the other Scriptures be wrong when they come after Acts 2:38?
- If you believe in Jesus Christ, you receive the remission of sins. Did Peter get this all wrong?
- No, he didn’t. He doesn’t say that baptism in water will forgive you of your sins.
“For the remission of sins” means because of the remission of sins.
- Get baptized in water now that you’ve believed.
- Get baptized in water because you’ve received the remission of sins through the name of Jesus Christ.
- And people will say, “the underlying Greek word never means because of.”
- A definition of the word for is because of.
Did those people ever check the underlying Greek word to make sure it’s never used as BECAUSE OF?
- No, they didn’t because that underlying Greek word is used in this same way in other Scriptures.
- That exact same underlying Greek word for the word FOR is found 1774 times in the New Testament.
- Did you look at all 1774 uses of this word before you said it’s never used to mean BECAUSE OF?
- That same underlying Greek word is translated into 166 different words or phrases in the Bible.
- Are you such a master of the Bible that you looked at all of those and none of them mean because of?
- You’re wrong. And stop lying because you didn’t even check.
[29] Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
- In the phrase, “repented AT the preaching of Jonas,” the underlying Greek word for AT is that same word.
- They repented BECAUSE OF the preaching of Jonas. They repent to receive the preaching of Jonas.
- No, Jonas preached and they repented because of his preaching. Get the order right. Peter preached.
- If the people repented and changed their mind about Jesus Christ, they could be baptized because they already received the remission of sins.
What I just told you matches with the entire rest of the Bible.
- So, don’t tell me that the underlying Greek word for FOR in Acts 2:38 doesn’t mean because of.
- The entire Bible preaches against a works based salvation, and you think Peter is preaching works?
- No, he preaches faith just like Jesus Christ preached faith. This is how these things can be?
- What you thought Peter said is not what he actually said.
[30] Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
- People will actually use this Scripture to say you must be baptized in water to be saved?
- How can this be? They say you must believe and be baptized to be saved.
- But this is impossible to believe in Jesus Christ and believe it takes water baptism to be saved.
- One is faith and the other is works. We are not saved by works.
- If you believe in baptism, you don’t believe in Jesus Christ.
- What does this Scripture actually say? Does this Scripture say you must be baptized in water to be saved?
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. Is this a true statement? Yes, it is.
- If you have believed in Jesus Christ and are baptized you are saved. The thief on the cross wasn’t baptized.
- How was he saved? He believed in Jesus Christ. He was saved by believing in Jesus Christ.
- Does this Scripture say that he that isn’t baptized won’t be saved? No, it doesn’t.
Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will be saved. It doesn’t matter what else you add to it.
- Believe in Jesus Christ and preach the Gospel to 1,000 people. You’re saved.
- Read the entire verse. This is how these things can be. “But he that believeth not shall be damned.”
- The Bible tells your directly that it’s the believing or not believing that damns you.
[31] John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- What in the world is wrong with these people in false religions?
- If someone clearly shows you this, and you continue to say it’s wrong, you’re going to have a huge problem when you die.
- Did Jesus Christ lie to us here and then teach that we must be baptized in water later?
- Did he teach Nicodemus, in this same chapter, that he must be born of the water or baptized in water?
- No, he didn’t. BELIEVING IN JESUS SAVES YOU. Nothing else saves you.
If believing in Jesus Christ saves you, how can it be that we must endure to the end to be saved?
- Many false Christian religions will say this such as the church of Christ.
- If you would read the actual chapter, it’s talking about your flesh enduring to the end or not being killed.
- If we had to endure to the end for our souls to be saved, then salvation would be of works. HARD WORK.
- You need to re-evaluate all your beliefs and make sure they match with the entire Bible.
How can the end times events be different for the Jews than they are for the Gentiles?
- It’s the same world. There is no difference in Jew or Greek. Mark Chapter 13 was written to all.
- It’s not talking about just the Jews. Those who are in Jerusalem at the time should flee.
- People will say: “See, it’s only talking to the Jews because it says Jerusalem.” WHAT???
- No, the people who are in Jerusalem should flee. It doesn’t mean the whole world is in Jerusalem.
There’s all of these false doctrines that don’t make any sense with this Bible, but millions of people believe them.
- How can these things be? How can God be a God of love and also hate as He says in the Bible?
- I would look at the other way. How can He be a God of love and not hate? He hates evil and wickedness.
- How can He be holy and just God and not hate evil and not punish evil?
- How can He be a God of ONLY LOVE, as fake Christians repeat like parrots, and there be a hell?
- Satan didn’t create hell. He’s not a creator. He’s a spirit, an angel, that God created.
- Satan doesn’t run hell. How can Satan run hell and be thrown into hell by one of God’s angels?
[32] Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
- The leader of the bottomless pit is not Satan but an angel who is called Abaddon or Apollyon.
- God put him in charge of hell. Satan is not. How can all of these so-called Christians believe these things?
[33] Revelation 20:1-3 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
- This ends the false doctrine that Satan runs hell and Satan casts people into hell. He doesn’t.
- God casts people into hell. God created hell. God loves, but He also hates. He can do both.
- We can do both righteously. How can these things be? People act like we can only love but can’t hate.
- They will tell me that I can only love pedophiles. WRONG. I hate them with a passion. Get away from me.
- If you love pedophiles, tell them it’s okay, and encourage them to continue, YOU ARE EVIL.
- How can you say that you love God and speak it from the rooftops that God doesn’t hate anyone?
[34] Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
[35] Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
- And there’s more Scripture than that. You don’t love the Lord by telling lies about Him. Do you?
- Jesus Christ loves righteousness and hates iniquity or wickedness. That’s why there’s a hell.
- That’s how these things can be? You’ve been lied to out there.
How can we be dying but alive forevermore? Our flesh is dying but our spirit and soul will never die.
- There’s a first death and then there’s a second death.
- How will I get a new body one day that is this body but new and incorruptible?
- God does these things. With God, there is nothing impossible.
How can we be baptized in Christ but not baptized in water? Baptism in water is a physical thing.
- Baptism in Christ is a spiritual thing. Baptized into one Spirit is a SPIRITUAL THING.
- We are saved, baptized in Christ, baptized into one Spirit, WHEN WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST.
- Not when we are baptized in water. Those baptisms are not equal and there are different baptisms.
- How can these things be? People can’t see these things but appear to be masters of the Bible.
- They will tell you that I am the liar. If so, how are these things possible?
How can Jesus tell us not to judge but then also tell us to judge all things? It’s pretty simple.
- Judge righteously. Don’t judge someone if you’re doing the same thing.
- You can’t help them unless you stop first. The Bible says to establish judgement.
- People of this world will tell you to not judge. What they say is actually impossible.
- They judge you while they’re saying it to you. These things are so foolish and idiotic. Don’t be an idiot.
- Don’t be deceived. Don’t fall for all of these lies and deceptions. Believe what God says.
How could Jesus say to the thief on the cross next to him that he would be in paradise with him while the soul of Jesus went to hell for 3 days and 3 nights?
- Well, the Bible clearly says that the thief would be with Jesus in paradise or the third heaven that day.
- And the Bible clearly says that the soul of Jesus Christ was not left in hell. His soul went to hell.
- Both are true? How can these things be? JESUS IS GOD. The thief went to be with God in heaven.
We don’t create fairy tales like a compartment in hell called paradise or Abraham’s bosom because we can’t understand the greatness of God.
- We believe what God says even when we don’t think it’s possible.
- If not, we become fools. People think it’s foolish to believe the soul of Jesus went to hell.
- It’s actually the other way around. It’s foolish to not believe His soul went to hell.
- You will be found a fool when you don’t trust in God’s words. “BUT IT CAN’T BE.”
- Yes it can. Jesus doesn’t lie to us. And we don’t create lies to fix God’s words.
Much of the truth in the Bible cannot be understood by people who haven’t been saved.
- You receive the Spirit of God once you believe in Jesus Christ or put all 100% of your trust in Him.
- He did all the work. He died, He was buried, His soul went to hell, He was resurrected from the dead.
- Not you. Put your trust in Him. Ask Him to save you. And He will give you everlasting life right now.
- Is that so hard to believe? Not for me. It’s easy. But for many it’s difficult.
- They even mock it and call it easy believism. AMEN TO THAT. It easy to believe if you aren’t a moron.
- A moron or a fool is one who doesn’t trust God’s words.
[36] John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
- Trust that or not. Trust and be wise. Not trust and be a fool.
- Profess yourself to be wise and you become a fool. We trust in God’s wisdom.
- God put all of these examples in the Bible to divide the people who trust in Him from those who don’t.
- We trust His words. You better do the same before it’s too late.
Let’s pray.
