[2] The title of the sermon: “WHEN IS THE TRIBULATION OVER?”

  • In end times events, there will be a period of time called the tribulation.
  • The Bible clearly tells us when the tribulation is over.
  • Let’s take a close look at this today.

[3] Matthew 24:29-30 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  • From this Scripture alone, we can clearly know when the tribulation is over.
  • Verse 29 says, “Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days.”
  • If something is AFTER a specific event, this means the specific event is over.

For example, if we are going to eat after church, we know that church is over once we are eating.

  • The eating part is AFTER church. So church would be over.
  • Same thing here with the tribulation.

Once we see the sun darkened, the moon shall not give her light, and the stars fall from heaven, we know that the tribulation is over.

  • Right? These things happen immediately after the tribulation.
  • The Bible clearly states that the tribulation is over once the sun and moon are darkened.
  • This is the word of God. We go by what God tells us and not by doctrines of men.
  • Let’s look at Mark Chapter 13, which is a parallel passage to Matthew Chapter 24.

[4] Mark 13:24-26 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

  • “After that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.”
  • “And the stars of heaven shall fall.” All of these signs happen after the tribulation.
  • And this is clearly talking about end times events if you read Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.

So, if you wanted to know more about end times events, which book would have the most information?

  • If we wanted to know more about when the tribulation is over, where would we look?
  • Obviously, we would go to the Book of Revelation which is filled with end times prophecy.
  • We know that the sun is darkened, moon is darkened, and the stars of heaven fall immediately after the tribulation.
  • We look for when these things happen within the Book of Revelation. We search the Scriptures.

[5] Revelation 6:12-13 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

  • What do we see here in Revelation Chapter 6?
  • We see the sun darkened, the moon darkened, and the stars of heaven falling unto the earth.
  • There is no other Scripture in the Book of Revelation where this occurs.
  • This is it. Jesus directly tells us that the tribulation is over once we see these exact signs.
  • This means we know the tribulation is over once the sixth seal is opened.

This also means we know the tribulation occurs from seal 1 through seal 5.

  • At seal 6, the tribulation is over. When is the tribulation over?
  • At seal 6 when the sun and moon are darkened and the stars of heaven fall.
  • Now, am I telling you the truth, or are others telling you the truth that preach something totally different?
  • You can search the Scriptures yourself.

Many people will say the tribulation is over when Jesus comes on a white horse in Revelation Chapter 19.

  • Here’s the problem with that, though. The sun isn’t darkened in Revelation Chapter 19.
  • The moon isn’t darkened in Revelation Chapter 19.
  • The stars don’t fall from heaven in Revelation Chapter 19.
  • There is no earthquake in that chapter either.

So, let me ask you again. Who is right? 1) The Scriptures or 2) all of these other people?

  • When is the tribulation over? The tribulation is over when you get to seal 6.
  • This means seal 6, seal 7, trumpet 1, vial 1 and all 7 trumpets and vials are not a part of the tribulation.
  • This is very clear and easy to see by comparing a couple of Scriptures.
  • As you continue to search the Scriptures, there’s more and more proof of that.

But some people will hold to traditions of men because they think:

  • “There’s no way all of those men were wrong. My grandfather couldn’t have been wrong.”
  • Listen, God is not wrong. We don’t lift up man above the word of God.
  • So, let’s see what happens, in order, before and after the tribulation.

We know for sure that the tribulation is over directly before the sixth seal is opened.

  • We know this because Jesus Christ tells us these things clearly and directly.
  • We’re not trying to decipher things that are very difficult to understand.
  • He gave us the exact signs to look for and then He shows us those exact signs in Revelation Chapter 6.
  • We know the tribulation must begin before it can be over with. When does the tribulation begin?
  • The tribulation begins with the opening of the book that is sealed with seven seals.

[6] Revelation 5:1-3 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

  • We know that Jesus Christ, the Lamb that was slain, comes and takes the book out of the hand of God.
  • Jesus is God and this is why the Bible says no man in heaven was able to open the book.
  • No man in heaven couldn’t even look thereon. Jesus, the Savior of the world, takes the book.
  • He then opens the book. And with that opening of the book, the tribulation begins.

[7] Revelation 6:1-2 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

  • This is the first seal. When this is opened, we know the tribulation has started.
  • What do we see with the first seal? A white horse. A man sits on the white horse.
  • He has a bow. A crown was given unto him. He goes forth to conquer and to conquer.

When we compare this to Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, we see that this is the beginning of sorrows.

  • We learn that this is not Jesus Christ on the white horse. This is the antichrist.
  • He is imitating Jesus Christ. A crown is given to him. His power is given to him by Satan.
  • Satan and the antichrist are causing the problems during the tribulation.
  • It is not God who is doing these things. You’ll never see God sending out His wrath during the tribulation.
  • And please remember, the tribulation ends after the fifth seal is competed.

[8] Matthew 24:4-8 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

  • This matches seal 1 from Revelation Chapter 6. You will see people imitating Jesus Christ.
  • They will say, “I am Christ.” Wars and rumors of wars. Nation shall rise against nation.
  • Famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in many different places. These are the beginning of sorrows.
  • This is the beginning of the tribulation. It starts at seal 1 with false christs.

We’ve had wars before. We’ve had world wars. We’ve had famines. We’ve had pestilences.

  • We’ve had earthquakes before. But all of these things are going to happen according to God’s words.
  • We know these are a part of the tribulation. They will happen as laid out in the Bible.
  • This man on a white horse will go forth to conquer and he will conquer. This is the antichrist.
  • After seal 1, which is clearly the first part of the tribulation, we get seal 2.

[9] Revelation 6:3-4 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

  • This is the second seal. This is a red horse and there is a man on this horse.
  • The colors of the horses are changing. First seal is a white horse. Second seal is a red horse.
  • This time peace is being taken from the earth. “They should kill one another.”

Well, this is going to happen during war. Lots of death. False christs first. They imitate Christ.

  • They go forth to conquer. Then we see wars. People are dying all over the world.
  • The world, as we know it, is being shaken. You might say that is happening today.
  • On a very small scale, these things are happening. But we aren’t in the end times tribulation.
  • And we will never know the exact day and time when the tribulation begins.

There is never a horn blown or a trumpet sounded that is mentioned in the Scriptures to tell us when the tribulation begins.

  • But there are clear signs given to us that tell us when we are in the tribulation.
  • We just don’t know the exact day and time that it has started.
  • We also know when the tribulation is over because the Bible tells us exactly.
  • When the sixth seal is opened, the sun and moon are darkened. The tribulation is over.

How do we know when we are in the tribulation?

  • When the entire world is at war, people are killing each other, famine, pestilences, and earthquakes, THEN we will know that we are finally in the tribulation.
  • Seals 1 and 2 will be the signs we need to look for to know we are in tribulation.
  • There will be many false christs led by the antichrist. They will go forth to conquer.

Be very careful with the so-called “Christians” out there. They will probably be a part of this.

  • These are the ones who don’t believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Joel Osteen followers might be after you.
  • The homosexual loving “Disciples of Christ” false Christian denomination will be trying to kill you.
  • We will see wars. Peace is taken from the earth. It’s not a war between a few countries.
  • It is actual world war. Peace is taken from the entire earth. Seal 1 and 2 are a part of the tribulation.
  • Seal 3 is also part of the tribulation.

[10] Revelation 6:5-6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

  • Now we see a black horse. We’ve seen white, red, and now black.
  • A man has a pair of balances in his hand. He’s measuring with these balances.
  • This is where famines come into play. People won’t be able to afford food.
  • You’re starting to see what this might feel like as the food prices are shooting up in this country.
  • But we definitely aren’t having huge famine problems.

This just means people who won’t work will have to sell their iphones and get a cheaper phone.

  • They will have to cut off their unlimited Wi-Fi and get a limited plan.
  • They will have to cancel their Netflix, PlayStation, and gaming plans so they can eat.
  • Not a bad thing. This is not the tribulation at this time. We don’t have famine all over the world.

The government is not coming and taking all the food for themselves from all the farms. Yet.

  • There is a ton of land to grow food out there right now. People can grow food.
  • The government hasn’t yet made climate laws where farmers can’t grow food. They’re getting there.
  • It’s going to take a little while longer for them to stop people, though.
  • This last pandemic we had really moved things much faster in that direction.
  • Now, let’s see the fourth seal. This is also a part of the tribulation.

[11] Revelation 6:7-8 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

  • Now we see the fourth seal here that is a part of the tribulation.
  • Notice that there were 4 beasts and the 4 beasts say come and see during each of the 4 seal openings.
  • We see a pale horse this time. We’ve had white, red, black, and now pale horse.

The name of this man that sat on the horse was Death, and Hell followed with him.

  • Power was given unto them over fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, hunger, death, and beasts.
  • A fourth of the earth is huge. They are going to be going after a fourth part of this earth with a passion.
  • They are out to kill. This is a part of the tribulation. And these horses aren’t coming out of heaven.
  • You don’t see any mention of these troubles being caused by God.

With the trumpet and vails, though, which we see later on, you clearly see those are God’s wrath.

  • This is not the wrath of God. This is the tribulation. The beasts say, “Come and see what will happen.”
  • The Bible doesn’t say that God is causing these these troubles. This is a time of great sorrow.
  • So far, we know the tribulation is not over. We’ve looked at seals 1 through 4.
  • All of these are a part of the tribulation. Now, let’s continue to seal 5.
  • Once seal 5 is complete, the tribulation is over. And I will clearly show you this with clear Scriptures.

Look, I haven’t used anything but Scriptures to prove points so far in this sermon.

  • I don’t go to other sources such as men and women of this world.
  • I don’t tell stories to trick you, deceive you, or take your mind off of what’s actually important.
  • We’re focusing in on the actual Scriptures. That’s what we will always do at this church.

[12] Revelation 6:9-10 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

  • I haven’t skipped a verse in Revelation Chapter 6.
  • At the start of Revelation Chapter 6, we see seal 1 being opened. This is the start of the tribulation.
  • This is the beginning of the tribulation. We’ve been through the first 4 seals of the tribulation.
  • We are now at the fifth seal. What do you clearly see here in these verses?

“I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.”

  • Please pay attention to this. During the tribulation, things will turn bad for actual Christians.
  • These will be the so-called “hate preachers” and “hate churches” who actually follow God’s words.
  • We’re called hateful people because we tell the truth of the Bible and are actually the loving people.

But we’re called names and hated because Jesus is called names and hated. We stand with Him.

  • The people killed Jesus Christ. Don’t expect anything different if you stand with Him.
  • And the Bible tells you that John saw, under the altar, them that were slain for the word of God.
  • Being a Christian is the toughest thing I’ve ever done in my life, and it’s not even close.
  • And I will not give it up for anything because Jesus Christ died for me. I will die for Him.

People of this world will say, “But what are you getting out of that?”

  • Hey, I don’t want anything out of it. He gave His life for me, and I will give my life for Him.
  • This is what is within me, and the world may kill me but I will not die. Understand that.
  • I may lose everything in this world, but Jesus Christ does not lose me. He knows where I am.

But please watch exactly what is said here because this is highly important to answering the question for this sermon: “When is the tribulation over?”

  • You might ask, how is this related to the tribulation being over?
  • Verse 10 says, “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and AVENGE our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
  • These people who were killed for the word of God are asking how much longer it will be until they are avenged.

This means that God has not been pouring out His wrath at this point.

  • In other words, everything up to this point in Revelation Chapter 6 is not God’s wrath.
  • The tribulation is not about God’s wrath. God’s wrath is poured out in the trumpets and vials.
  • Also, the trumpets and vials are not the great tribulation.
  • Tribulation is turned to great tribulation and then then tribulation is over.
  • Once the tribulation is over, God’s wrath will be poured out afterwards.
  • God’s wrath is not a part of the tribulation.

Remember, Jesus says the tribulation is over once the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall from heaven.

  • He says this in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. And yes, these chapters in the Bible are written to us.
  • Some people will try to say those chapters are only written to the Jews.
  • It doesn’t matter. The end times events don’t change order just because something is written to the Jews.
  • But that’s a lie anyway.

[13] Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

  • That’s Jesus Christ speaking in Mark Chapter 13. He just tells you that He’s talking to you.
  • False preachers will teach that Jesus is only talking to the Jews. Jesus Christ says, “No, you’re wrong.”
  • But, for some reason, people worship the men and women in Bible colleges and Seminaries.

They worship the pastors and preachers in these churches. They won’t listen to Jesus.

  • But they will fall down and worship everyone else. But it doesn’t even make sense what they argue.
  • They will call me a liar because their response will be, “That’s written to the Jews.”
  • What does it matter? It can be written to anyone but it doesn’t change the order of end times events.
  • We know for sure that, at seal 5, God hasn’t poured out His wrath.
  • Let’s continue in Revelation 6 and watch this closely.

[14] Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

  • They asked in the previous verse, “How much longer until you avenge our blood on them?”
  • In other words, “How much longer, O Lord, until you pour out your wrath on them?”
  • The Bible says, “That they should rest yet for a little season.” Hey, God’s wrath is coming soon.

Look, I am not changing the words of the Bible. It’s all right there, and it’s easy to understand.

  • We are at seal 5, which is clearly a part of the tribulation. God’s people are being killed.
  • There are martyr’s under the altar. This is a part of the great tribulation.
  • Tribulation turns to great tribulation when the antichrist turns his focus on Christians to kill them.
  • And yes, there are Scriptures for everything I am saying. Read Matthew Chapter 24.
  • I am not focusing on that today because I want you to see when the tribulation is over.
  • Now, seal 5 is complete. Next, we’ll see seal 6. Let’s go back to Revelation Chapter 6 once again.

[15] Revelation 6:12-13 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

  • I promise you that God lays this out so clearly for us that it’s amazing people continue to preach against what I am saying here.
  • They will fight you over this false pre-tribulation rapture idea that they have. All of this is related.
  • If you believe the actual Scriptures, you will never believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.

We saw the tribulation start with the first seal opened in Revelation Chapter 6.

  • We now see that the tribulation is over at the sixth seal. You can see that it’s ended right there.
  • You might ask, “How do I know the tribulation is over right there?”
  • Well, what do you see? 1) a great earthquake, 2) sun becomes black, 3) moon became as blood, 4) stars of heaven fell unto the earth, 5) even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs
  • This is the sixth seal. I am going to put the words of Jesus Christ right next to these Scriptures.

[16]

MATTHEW 24

REVELATION 6

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Revelation 6:12-13 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

  • Now, if you want to argue this isn’t the same event, then something is wrong with you.
  • There is no other place in the Book of Revelation that this happens.
  • All 4 signs from Jesus Christ are shown here. This is speaking of the exact same event.
  • If you want to argue with this, you have other agendas besides the truth.

I don’t have any other agendas. I am fully independent. I don’t have other preachers I might make angry.

  • I don’t have a seminary professor that I might offend.
  • I don’t have a Bible college professor who might hate me.
  • I am not a part of some organization. I am not trying to make anyone else happy but God.
  • I don’t have the Southern Baptist Convention that you can report me to.
  • I don’t have the so-called “Independent Fundamental Baptists” or IFB that you can report me to.
  • I don’t have any organization of people, including people here, telling me what to do.

We don’t have a huge or even small congregation here. And the others who do will laugh at me.

  • Keep laughing. Keep mocking. At least we have the truth on our side here.
  • You can have all the people you want. I’ll take God’s words any day, any time.
  • You have many people to please. I don’t care about pleasing people. That’s why they aren’t here.
  • You have snowflakes. I don’t have snowflakes to coddle and pamper so they don’t fall apart.
  • My wife agrees with me on whatever I preach. I don’t even need to worry about making her mad.

I am not going to compromise God’s words in any way. You do. You must make men and women happy.

  • Let me be clear. I care about people greatly, but my job is not to make them happy.
  • My job is teach them the truth. And that’s what I’m doing right now.
  • You can compare Scripture with Scripture too. And you can’t argue with it.
  • Matthew 24 matches the order of events in Revelation perfectly in every way, shape, and form.
  • When something doesn’t match a false doctrine, the false preachers ignore the Scriptures.

So, what do I really want you to see today? I want you to see the start of verse 29 right there on the left.

  • Matthew 24 verse 29 says, “IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION.” Does it say that or not?
  • It does. What happens immediately after the tribulation? The sun is darkened.
  • The moon shall not give her light. The stars fall from heaven. The powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

If you actually study the Scriptures and not your daily devotionals, you’ll find the truth.

  • Search the Book of Revelation for these events. Read the entire book.
  • Takes about an hour and 20 minutes. Do it yourself. I won’t read it for you, snowflake.
  • Find it. What will you find? You’ll find ONLY what I just showed you. Revelation 6:12-13.
  • And it matches perfectly. What does this mean?

This simply means the tribulation is over when seal 5 is over. Seal 6 is after the tribulation.

  • This is EXACTLY what the Bible says. This is EXACTLY what God says. Will you argue with His words?
  • This means God’s wrath is not a part of the tribulation. Do you want to argue that too? Let’s keep reading.
  • We will not skip over one verse in Revelation Chapter 6.

[17] Revelation 6:14-15 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

  • People on earth are starting to hide. Heaven departed as a scroll. Do you know how big that would be?
  • Every eye shall see this happening. And every man will hide. God is scary. Do you understand this?
  • God can split this earth in half any time He wants. Do you know how large GOD would be?
  • Do you know how powerful He would be? We are simply laughable compared to Him. LAUGHABLE.
  • No comparison in existence could even be made. He’s that large. You will be afraid.

Have you ever been driving at night and it’s pitch black everywhere?

  • I’ve gotten this feeling before of how small I actually am. Very small. Nothing really.
  • And I understand how huge this world actually happens to be. The heavens go on forever and ever.
  • We’re this tiny little dot. Not even a dot as the heavens continue and continue and continue.
  • Not even a dot. God is there. God is everywhere. He is eternal. He is the light in that darkness.
  • People don’t like to hear how small they happen to be. How unimportant they happen to be.
  • They want everything to be about them, and they make everything to be about them.

When this day comes right here in Revelation Chapter 6, every man on earth will know how small they are.

  • Hide little men. All you false preachers out there who won’t hear the words of the Bible, you should be afraid right now, listen to God, and stop the lies.
  • There are examples of you within the Bible. You should read it. False prophets. False preachers.
  • If you think God’s wrath is a part of the tribulation, it’s time right now to change your mind.
  • If this next Scripture doesn’t help you with that, nothing will.

[18] Revelation 6:16-17 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

  • Everything that has happened prior to this is not the wrath of God.
  • In other words, seals 1 through 5 are not the wrath of God.
  • Seals 1 through 5 are the tribulation. The tribulation is not the wrath of God.
  • If I haven’t clearly and plainly laid this out today, I am not sure what else I can do.

Maybe it’s because people stop learning once they stop their education.

  • Once they finish school, they don’t learn any more.
  • I guarantee you that children in school who are learning can easily understand this sermon if they listened.
  • That’s another problem. Some children and adults can’t listen to anything for more than 5 seconds.
  • But they can play games on their phones for hours.

If you can’t understand what I’ve said today, it’s time to calm down, get rid of distractions in your life, and focus in on something important.

  • We are not supposed to go brain dead after we graduate from high school or college and stop learning.
  • We are commanded, in the Bible, to seek after wisdom. Study to shew thyself approved. A WORKMAN.
  • Some people have went brain dead for so long that they get accustomed to it. Do you not want to learn?
  • I do. I want to learn what God gave us right here. We are to WORK HARD on these Scriptures.

So, now, anyone who is out there listening to this. Here’s my challenge to you. JOIN US HERE.

  • Come here and work with us. If you want to know what it’s like to work on the Scriptures, come here.
  • We’ll work on them here. Subscribe and see. Watch.
  • Come here and learn how to win people to Jesus Christ.

If you don’t have the desire within you to win people to Jesus Christ, something is wrong inside of here.

  • It’s time to get this right. Come on. Let’s get this right. Let’s do things the right way.
  • The first 5 seals are the tribulation. Seal 6 is after the tribulation. Jesus Christ says so.
  • I don’t care what you say. I don’t care what you think. Jesus Christ said it.
  • If you want to agree to disagree, I will disagree to agree. You need to get it right. Is it important?
  • If you don’t think it’s important, you have no clue about the words in this Bible. They endure forever.
  • What happens after the tribulation? There’s many more things that happen after the tribulation.

If you keep reading the Book of Revelation, you’ll see the Day of the Lord is now here.

  • Right after the tribulation, this happens. The great day of His wrath is come.
  • It is a great and terrible day. We see the 144,000 being sealed.
  • We see people suddenly show up in heaven. Who do you think these people were?
  • These are people who are raptured. It’s so easy to see and to match with Matthew 24.

[19] Revelation 7:9-10 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

  • This great multitude shows up in heaven. Again, there is no pre-tribulation rapture.
  • The tribulation is now over and all of these people show up in heaven.
  • Some people will say that these are all Jews that show up in heaven. God never says this once.

[20] Revelation 7:13-14 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

  • God’s wrath hasn’t yet started. God is still holding it back on this great day of the Lord.
  • He just saved these saints out of great tribulation. They endured to the end and their flesh was saved.
  • They didn’t die in their flesh. The souls that were under the altar lost their life on earth.
  • Their flesh didn’t endure to the end. They were still saints.
  • These people came out of great tribulation. This is the rapture. It happens on this Day of the Lord.

If you keep reading, the seventh seal is opened on this same day and then the wrath of God begins.

  • So, in conclusion here today, the tribulation consists of the first 5 seals.
  • When you see the sixth seal, this is after the tribulation. At the end of the fifth seal, the tribulation is over.
  • When you see the sun and moon darkened, the tribulation is over.

There will be no more tribulation for the saints of God or those who have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Will the saints of God go through tribulation? Yes, of course. The entire Bible teaches this.
  • Some clown comes and says, “The church won’t go through tribulation.”
  • What idiots and fools would listen to these clowns over the word of God? Wake up out there.
  • Last time today. First 5 seals are the tribulation. Seal 6 sun and moon darkened.
  • Happens after the tribulation. When is the tribulation over? At the end of seal 5.
  • When the sun and moon are darkened, the tribulation is over.

Then we see the second coming of Jesus Christ. We see the rapture happen at His second coming.

  • Then we see God’s wrath poured out. Daniel’s 70th week does not equal the tribulation.
  • The tribulation is only a part of Daniel’s 70th week. Don’t be fooled out there today.
  • Use the word of God for your answers.

Let’s pray.

    Hi Josh!
This short study is right on. The Scriptures are abundantly clear regarding the tribulation and the great tribulation, and when they change to the separate time when God pours out his wrath on rebellious mankind. I get so frustrated when believers, especially IFB folk block their ears to these undeniable truths. They have been taught that Matthew 24 was written to the Jews!
There is going to be a prophesy conference in my church on this topic this coming Sunday. I know the speaker. He was my pastor for a number of years. His teaching will be the standard pre-tribulation rapture baloney that most IFB churches espouse. He is a disciple of the departed John Walvvoord from the Dallas Theological Cemetery and a 100% Zionist. I have one of his books on my desk – false dispensational teaching. I have tried to discuss these issues with the speaker on numerous occasions when he was my pastor, to no avail. Sadly, I know that most people in my church will be thrilled with his teaching. I am going to pass on church this Sunday. It would be too painful. He would probably flip out if he saw me anyway. We didn’t part on good terms.
    Keep up the good work!

Yes, Dave, I agree. I cannot listen to pre-tribulation rapture talk any more. I learned that false doctrine and believed it for many years because I did not understand the Scriptures. Once you read Matthew 24 and trust the words of Jesus Christ, you will know that there is no pre-tribulation rapture.

Matthew 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

It’s all right there. The tribulation is over once the sun and moon is darkened. Jesus comes in the clouds. The great and terrible day of the Lord is here. He sends His angels out for the rapture. The tribulation is over at the end of Seal 5. The rapture happens. Then God pours out His wrath in the second half of Daniel’s 70th week (7-year period).

I hope you are feeling better! Thanks again, Dave!
