[2] The title of the sermon: “PREDESTINATED BY GOD.”

  • There have been arguments over predestination in the Bible for hundreds and hundreds of years.
  • Some people will teach that predestination means you were chosen by God before you were born to either go to heaven or go to hell.
  • They will teach that since you were already chosen by God for heaven or hell that you have no other options.

They will say say that predestinate means to appoint or ordain beforehand by an unchangeable purpose.

  • We believe in predestination, but their belief has taken things too far just as man loves to do.
  • They have turned predestination and foreknowledge in the Bible into something it is not.
  • So, we’re going to look at predestination within the Bible and find the truth.

We’re going to look up the following words in the Bible:

  • 1) Predestinate, 2) predestinated, 3) foreknow, 4) foreknowledge, 5) foreknew, and 6) foreordained.
  • 6 words in the Bible. When we search the Scriptures for these words, what do we find?
  • See the following charts.

[3]

[4]

  • We see 9 matches for those words in 8 different verses.
  • You can see that all of these Scriptures in the New Testament. There’s a reason for that.
  • And you’re going to see that reason today. You need to know this, and you need to remember this.
  • The questions we’ll answer today are: 1) Did God predestinate you to heaven or hell?
  • 2) Do you have a choice on whether or not you’re going to heaven or hell?

Let’s start in the Scriptures and look at these 7 passages in the Scriptures.

  • The very first verse with one of these words, within the entire Bible, is in Acts Chapter 2.
  • Acts Chapter 2 is a very popular chapter, and we know these words very well. Let’s look closely.

[5] Acts 2:21-24 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

  • We know that this Peter standing up to preach the word of God.
  • If you look closely at verse 23 there, you see the following words:
  • “Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God.”
  • Jesus Christ was delivered by the foreknowledge of God. God has foreknowledge. What does this mean?
  • God knows what’s going to happen before it actually happens.

For example, let’s say I have foreknowledge of something that I know is going to happen.

  • Most of the time, we can’t say that we know for sure something is going to happen. Right?
  • For example, I don’t know what’s going to happen when I drive home tonight.
  • Why? Because other people are out there driving too, and I don’t know the choices they will make.
  • There are deer out there. I don’t know where they are, or what they’re going to do.
  • Many times, I have to stop for a deer to cross the road. I don’t know when that’s happening.
  • We also don’t know what the future holds for us many times.

For example, I didn’t know I was going to be an engineer until a couple of months before I graduated high school.

  • I don’t know what we’ll eat for breakfast tomorrow, or will lunch be our first meal of the day.
  • We change our minds many times, and we don’t know what’s going to happen each day.
  • But, I do have foreknowledge of many things too. What are those things?

Those things are from the word of God. For example, I do know what will happen when I die.

  • I have foreknowledge of this event. I don’t know when I am going to die. But I know what will happen.
  • I know that Jesus Christ has already saved me. I know that my soul will go to heaven.
  • So, I have this foreknowledge. But I don’t force God to save me just because I have this foreknowledge.
  • I don’t say: “God, I am commanding you. I have this foreknowledge, and you will do what I say.”
  • I don’t think: “God, I am in control of you, and you will do this because I have this foreknowledge.”

So, you have to understand the difference there.

  • People will teach false doctrine that says the foreknowledge of God means that you have no choice to make for salvation.
  • If you have knowledge of what’s going to happen, this doesn’t mean it was forced onto you without a choice.
  • Right? Do you see this difference as we start learning the Scriptures? Hopefully you see the difference.
  • Just because you have foreknowledge, this does not mean you are controlling everything that happens.

God foreknew that Jesus Christ would be the Savior of the world, but the Father didn’t make the Son do it.

  • God the Father doesn’t control Jesus Christ and make Him do things because they are different people.
  • They are one God, but they are different persons.
  • Jesus is in the express image of the person of His Father.

Verse 21 right there says, “that WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

  • The Bible never says that most people don’t have a chance to be saved and only a few do.
  • God continuously says different than what these false doctrines, such as Calvinism, teach.
  • But, please understand, that it’s not just Calvinism that teaches weird doctrine.
  • There are many others too. People believe that God controls what happens and there is no free will.

They think that predestination means that you will do whatever God decides for you.

  • The truth is God knows what you will do, but He doesn’t make you do the things that you do.
  • You have the choice to make. You have free will that God gave you.
  • And, if this isn’t obvious to you in every day life, then you need a wake up call.
  • Let’s take a look at the next set of Scriptures. We will go to Romans Chapter 8.
  • We’re going to see foreknow and predestinate in the same verse. Let’s take a look closely.

[6] Romans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

  • All things work together for good to them that love God. They are called according to His purpose.
  • God’s will is for all people to be saved. For God so loved the world.
  • God reconciles the world unto Himself. God doesn’t want any to perish.
  • Jesus gave Himself a ransom for all. He gave Himself for the life of the whole world.
  • Jesus died for all. God says to teach ALL NATIONS. Compel them to come into my house.
  • Salvation hath appeared to all men. God is not willing that ANY should perish.
  • He is the Savior of all men. The world through Him might be saved. Whosoever can be saved.
  • By the righteousness of one the free gift came upon ALL MEN.

God knew you before you were born. He knew whether or not you would believe on His Son Jesus Christ.

  • Some people will believe on Jesus Christ and be saved. Will they then do good works and love God?
  • Jesus says, “If you love me, follow my commandments.”
  • If you follow His commandments, we foreknow that all things will work together for good for you.
  • When? When you love God, which is following His commandments.

But do you always follow His commandments? No, you don’t. No one does.

  • But the same people who teach the false doctrine of their type of predestination will say that you will do good works.

Faith without works is dead. This means faith without works exists.

  • God wouldn’t have said faith without works is dead if faith without works doesn’t exist.
  • God states that faith without works does exist. This just means that faith, WITHOUT WORKS, is dead.
  • It’s not helping anyone. But false doctrine will state that faith will always have works. God says otherwise.
  • The examples in the Bible of saved people just like us states otherwise. Your life states otherwise.
  • Their life states otherwise. Reality proves otherwise.
  • King Saul is an example. He was saved. It’s in the Bible. He is in heaven now. It’s in the Bible.

Was King Saul a saved man? Yes he was, and if you have faith in God’s words, you’ll know he was saved.

  • Now, did all things work together for good to King Saul? No, they didn’t.
  • Why? Because King Saul wasn’t loving God and following His commandments.

You must be saved, and then you must follow God’s commandments for all things to work together for good.

  • King David loved God. And then King David didn’t love God. And then King David loved God.
  • And this goes back and forth for all of us all the time. When we sin, we aren’t loving God.
  • And we all sin. So, at times, we don’t love God. And things won’t work together for good in those times.
  • But the people who teach these false doctrines will act as if all things always work good for them.
  • They don’t have any issues. They don’t do anything wrong. They live a holy and perfect life.
  • But their life, every day, proves to them otherwise.

Were you predestinated by God? Yes, you were, but not according to the exact terms of their false doctrine.

  • You were predestinated to heaven because God foreknew that you would believe in His Son Jesus Christ.
  • He didn’t make you believe. Others were predestinated to hell because He knew they wouldn’t believe.
  • But He didn’t make it where they couldn’t change their mind and believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

Here’s the truth of the correct predestination doctrine:

  • All people have a choice to believe in Jesus Christ or not to believe in Jesus Christ.
  • God doesn’t force you or make you in ANY WAY believe in His Son Jesus Christ.
  • Whosoever believes in His Son is predestinated to heaven.
  • Whosoever does not believe in His Son is predestinated to hell.

Now, let’s look at something else that is closely related and in this Scripture in Romans Chapter 8.

  • “To them who are the called according to His purpose.”
  • “To them He also called. And whom He called.” God calls people to His Son Jesus Christ.
  • False doctrine will say that God only calls the people He predestinated. Is that the truth?
  • Does God never call out to the people predestinated to hell? Is this what the Bible teaches?
  • Are there examples in the Bible of God calling out to people who are predestinated to hell?

[7] Proverbs 1:23-25 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

  • God clearly says, “Because I have called, and ye refused.”
  • Now, does God call out to people who will be going to hell? Yes, He does. Why is that?
  • Because Jesus Christ died for all people. He is the Savior of the world.
  • He is our Savior, but He’s also the Savior of all those people who are in hell right now.

1 Timothy 4:2 says Jesus is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe. Does all mean all? Or not?

  • False doctrine says that He is not the Savior of all men because He only died for those He foreknew, predestinated, elected, and called.
  • But, as we clearly see in Proverbs Chapter 1, He called for all people.
  • He calls for people who will reject Him. Esau is an example. He called for Esau. Esau rejected God.
  • How many times? I don’t know, but I can guarantee you that God gave Esau plenty of chances.

God didn’t want to send Esau to go to hell. God does everything He can to save all people.

  • They despised God. They hated God. They only want His help when they want it.
  • And then He rejects those people where they can never be saved. Why? Because they’ll never believe.
  • But He tries, and tries, and tries. He calls out to them. They knew Him, and they hated Him.
  • So they get hell. They hate good and love evil.

[8] Isaiah 50:1-2 Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. 2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.

  • We make the choices. God clearly says so right here. Our sins are our sins. We did them.
  • God didn’t make us do them. False doctrine will say that God does the evil that we do. Wow.
  • They say that He makes us do this evil. This is not the God of the Bible.
  • God says, “Behold YOUR INIQUITIES have ye sold yourselves.”
  • “And for YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS is your mother put away.”

He says, “When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem?”

  • “Or have I no power to deliver?” Understand what God is saying. He has the power to deliver.
  • Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world. God has THE POWER to deliver.
  • But do you know what He won’t do? He won’t make you believe. He won’t force it on you.
  • This is God’s rule. This is His design. He gives you free will to make your own choices.
  • He calls out to ALL PEOPLE. His will is for all people to be saved. But He gives you the choice.
  • He has the power to save you. He has the power to save all people.

[9] Isaiah 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

  • If you choose the wrong way, you will die. If you reject Jesus Christ, the Son of God, you will die.
  • You will go to hell. When God calls you, you better pick it up. You better make the right decision.
  • There is no decision that you will make that will be more important in your life.
  • And thank God that He calls you more than once. He lets it ring over and over again.
  • Pick it up just once. Answer the call. And He will save you according to His promises.
  • This is predestination. If you believe on Jesus Christ, you will go to heaven. If not, you will go to hell.

[10] Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

  • Does God call out to people who are headed for hell or not? Yes, He does. THEY CHOOSE not to answer.
  • Now, does God make us answer His calls? Does God make us NOT answer His calls?
  • Do you understand how foolish these false doctrines happen to be? They directly go against His words.

[11] Jeremiah 7:13-16 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

  • God has His own will too. He created you in His image and in His likeness. He chooses. You choose.
  • This is who He is, and He made you to be the same way. He chooses, you choose, I choose.
  • We get a choice. He says to those who are going to hell: “I called you, but you answered not.”
  • He says, “I will cast you out of my sight. Pray not for this people. Neither lift up cry for them.”

They are predestinated to hell because they won’t listen to God’s call out to them.

  • Did He not try to save them just because He knew they wouldn’t change their mind?
  • He tries, and tries, and tries.

[12] Zechariah 7:11-12 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. 12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

  • But they stop up their ears as God Almighty calls out to them. Does He have the power to make them?
  • Nothing is too hard for the Lord. But He doesn’t break His design for creation. He won’t do it.
  • They made their hearts as an adamant stone. He didn’t make them that way. They did it.
  • And then He rejects them because that’s what they wanted. That was their will so He gives it to them.
  • Can saved people all refuse to hear God about other things such as the truth in predestination?

[13] Hebrews 12:25-26 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

  • We can also ignore His words, and that is when we sin against Him.
  • But God is telling you how serious He is about His words.
  • Why would anyone believe that Jesus only died for those He predestinated?
  • Did Jesus die for those He predestinated? Yes, He did. But He also died for those He didn’t predestinate.
  • He calls out to those He predestinated. But He also calls out to those He didn’t predestinate.
  • Let’s look at the third of eight Scriptures with the keywords about predestination and foreknowledge.

[14] Romans 11:1-3 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

  • God doesn’t cast away the people that He knows will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • For example, in my life, He gave me many chances.
  • More often than not, I deserved to be cast away. I deserve hell.
  • I went against Him more than I was ever for Him.
  • But He didn’t cast me away because He knew that one day I would believe in Him.
  • He knew that I would turn back to Him one day. So He didn’t cast me away. HE FOREKNEW THIS.

[15] Romans 11:4-6 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

  • Listen, the chosen people of God were the children of Israel.
  • But, now, they have been replaced as the chosen people of God. All those who believe are chosen.
  • That’s what God is explaining in the New Testament.
  • That’s why you see predestination in the New Testament.

Were only the physical children of Israel saved in the Old Testament? No, they weren’t.

  • There are all types of example of people being saved in the Old Testament who weren’t of Israel.
  • As an example, do you remember Naaman the Syrian?

[16] 2 Kings 5:9-11 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

  • Naaman ends up changing his mind about God.

[17] 2 Kings 5:15 And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

  • Naaman was saved. He says, “Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel.”
  • He says, “I KNOW.” And what does this mean? This means God called for Naaman multiple times.
  • Naaman rejected God some of the time, but this time he makes the right decision.
  • He doesn’t reject God. He listens to God. And now he believes in God.

This means Naaman, the Syrian, not a physical Israelite, was predestinated by God to be saved.

  • And God explains to us that all who believe in His Son are predestinated to heaven.
  • Do you not think Elisha preached the word of God to Naaman? Of course he did.

God didn’t cast away all of physical Israel either. His chosen people are the people of God.

  • Naaman was chosen by God because he changed his mind and believed.
  • We should all the read the Book of Romans and understand what God teaches us in that book.
  • Most of the Romans were not physical children of Israel. It is the BOOK OF ROMANS.

[18] Ephesians 1:4-6 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

  • Some people teach a false doctrine that says we aren’t capable of choosing God.
  • They say that we are not good at all and that choosing God would mean that we were good.
  • They say that choosing to do good is just not possible so God makes us choose Him.
  • They believe, for example, that God made Naaman the Syrian choose Him.
  • God doesn’t choose for us. He gives us the choice. We can make good choices or bad choices. It’s obvious.

[19] Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

  • If we didn’t have a choice, the Bible wouldn’t say: “CHOOSE YE THIS DAY.”

[20] Ruth 1:14-16 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. 15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law. 16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

  • Orpah chose the wrong way. Ruth chose the right way. God didn’t make the choice for them.

[21] 1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

  • How long will you be between two opinions? Is it going to be the Lord? Or will it be false gods?
  • It’s your choice. Elijah chooses the Lord and His doctrine. Will you choose that?
  • Or will you choose false doctrine? God predestinates those through His foreknowledge.
  • But He doesn’t make you believe in Him. If He was going to do that, He would MAKE EVERYONE BELIEVE.

Why? Because HIS WILL is for all to believe in His Son and for all to be saved.

  • This clearly tells you that He doesn’t force His will on anyone. Jesus died for all so anyone can be saved.
  • If God’s will is for all to be saved, why would He predestinate only a chosen few for heaven?
  • Their false doctrine and fairy tale idea of predestination is wrong.
  • Is predestination Biblical? Yes it is, but their idea of predestination is VERY WRONG.

Did God choose us? Yes He did. He chose everyone who is alive to live a life here on this earth.

  • God’s will is for people to be saved. If you will believe in Jesus Christ, you are predestinated to heaven.
  • If you will never believe in Jesus Christ, you are predestinated to hell.
  • God has made us accepted through His Son Jesus Christ who died for all.

[22] Ephesians 1:11-12 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

[23] Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

  • We were predestinated by God. The Scriptures say this clearly. But what do the Scriptures also say?
  • “In whom YE also trusted after that YE heard the word of truth.
  • “In who also after that YE believed.” You are the one who must believe. God doesn’t make you.
  • This false doctrine of predestination says that you won’t have to believe. God will do it for you.
  • This is so evil. There’s actually nothing more evil than perverting the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • If God made you believe, there would be no hell because He wants all people to go to heaven.

This is why we pray for God’s will to be done. It’s not always done because He created you with a different will.

  • Your will is different than His will. He calls for all people and wants them to take His call.
  • But they don’t, and they won’t. Why? He doesn’t force them. They get to choose.

[24] 1 Peter 1:1-2 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

  • I hope these Scriptures are now making sense to you in the light of the Scriptures.
  • Don’t allow a false doctrine such as Calvinism or any of the others to change your mind.
  • You need to know other Scriptures that contradict, such as Proverbs Chapter 1, with these false doctrines.

If someone says that God ONLY calls those who are predestinated, you should know that’s a lie.

  • If someone says that Jesus only died for the ones He predestinated, you should know that’s a lie.
  • Why? Because the Bible as a whole teaches the opposite. Jesus is the Savior of all men.
  • They will say He is the Savior of only those who will believe in Him. No, He is the Savior of all.
  • And He is the Savior of those in hell right now. They rejected Him, and then He rejected them.
  • Why? Because they would never believe in Jesus Christ. Yet, He died for their sins.

We are elect according to the foreknowledge of God. Elect means saved. Search the Scriptures and you’ll see.

  • God knew that we would believe on His Son so He saved us. When did He save us?
  • False doctrine will say that you’ve always been saved. That’s a lie. I was not saved when I sinned.
  • I was only saved once I believed on Jesus Christ and was forgiven of my sins.
  • If I jumped off a cliff before I believed on Jesus Christ, I would be in hell right now.
  • But thank God I wasn’t that big of a fool to jump off a cliff.

[25] 1 Peter 1:20-21 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

  • Here’s the last Scripture concerning predestination.
  • Jesus Christ was FOREordained to be the Savior of the world. When?
  • Before the foundation of the world. God already had a plan to save us before we were born.
  • He was sent to save us. Why did He come? To save us. Who did He come to save? All people.
  • How many sins did He die for? ALL OF THEM.

Because of what Jesus Christ did, we believed. “Who by Him do believe in God.”

  • We heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we believed. Because of Jesus, we believed.
  • Because He was foreordained to the be the Savior of the world, we believed.
  • Because He arose from the dead, we believed and gave Him glory.
  • Faith in God gives glory to God. Hope in God gives glory to God. NOT TO US.
  • When we have personal faith in God, this doesn’t glorify us. We glorify God.
  • We don’t put faith in ourselves and in our works. Believing is not a work.

We’ve been through all the Scriptures about predestination.

  • Predestination is easy to understand. When you try to use your mind, you can go too far.
  • You can begin to develop a fairy tale in your mind.
  • “Well, if God knew who would go to heaven or hell, He must have made some to go to hell.”
  • “He must not have given them a chance to believe.” And you just keep going and going.
  • The Scriptures should correct you. You should believe what God says.

[26] Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

  • You have a will. You have a choice to make. “And let him that is athirst come.”
  • “And WHOSOEVER WILL, let him take of the water of life freely.”
  • God died for all so His words so AND WHOSOEVER WILL.
  • He doesn’t limit this gift of everlasting life to anyone. The Bible says

[27] John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

  • Jesus calls out to all. Now, it’s your choice. Take it or leave it. But please, don’t leave it.
  • God wants you to take it. But He doesn’t make you take it.
  • Predestination, as taught by many, is a lie. You now know the truth to the doctrine of predestination.

Let’s pray.
