[2] The title of the sermon: “MAGICIANS, SORCERERS, WITCHES, AND WIZARDS.”

A Study of the Scriptures on Magicians, Sorcerers, Witches, and Wizards

• Today, we’re going to do a complete Bible Study on magicians, sorcerers, witches, and wizards.
• Why am I doing this? I just spoke with a man this week who lost his son when his son was 17 years old.
• The son of this man would have been 35 years old this year. Drugs caused this death.
• This man’s wife also wanted to commit suicide after she lost her son. Losing a child hurts very badly.
• Without Jesus Christ, I am not sure how one would make it through losing a child.

So, this man who lost his son was very upset as any parent would be.

• A friend and customer of his invited him to a John Edward show.
• I didn’t know who John Edward was until I heard about him from this man this week.
• I looked him up and he calls himself a psychic medium.
• They say that they bridge the gap between the living and the dead.
• It is the practice of mediating communication between spirits of the dead and living human beings.

So, this man I spoke with ends up going to a John Edward show and pays $350 for tickets for his wife and himself.

• But John Edward is supposedly a great man who wants to “help” others.
• For example, a New York Times article says that Psychic Mediums are the new wellness coaches.
• John Edward ends up telling this man I spoke with that his son is there with him at the show.
• His son is saying to not worry about him any more. He is in a much better place now.
• So, this brings so-called closure to this man and his wife and this makes them happy.

I talked to the man some more. He continues to talk about “God.” I listened to this man.

• He tells me that he had a good friend from a church.
• This man would pray for him, and he would be healed.
• He is related to William Branham, an evil dead man who was a false prophet.
• He would feel things happening when he prayed for him. “He called him a man of God.”
• He said that his migraine headaches went away for good once this man prayed for him.

I asked him what happened to this great man of God. He got sick and died from blood sugar issues.

• He was in his 50’s when he died and told them not to worry that he wasn’t going to die. He was wrong.
• That man was such a good friend of his that he never went to church with him once.
• But he “tried” to go many times. It’s actually a good thing he never went to that trash hole of a “church.”
• My question is why can all these people make it to work but they just can’t make it to church.
• I know why. God isn’t important to you. Work and money is important to you, but God isn’t.

Magicians, sorcerers, witches, and wizards are important to these people but Jesus Christ isn’t.

• I attempted to tell this man that he may mention God, but the way to heaven is through Jesus Christ.
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God. I told him that Jesus Christ is the one who died for him.
• But you know what? He didn’t want to hear any of that. He wants to hear about witchcraft and sorcery.
• Who is your God? Who is going to save you? Is John Edward your savior? He “helped” you so much?

I am sick and tired of people falling for all of this trash so we’re going to the Scriptures today.

• You might have people around you who touch you and you have these feelings of peace.
• Let me tell you this right now. If these spirits over take you, you aren’t saved.
• Did you know most of the John Edward fans are women? They are deceived much easier.
• Stop falling for this trash. For example, this trash is in Pentecostal churches.
• This trash is filling the so-called “Christian” churches today.
• So, today, we’re going to live by the word of God and not by all these “FEELINGS.”

To study magicians, sorcerers, witches, and wizards, I went to the Bible. I went to the perfect Scriptures.

• I looked up the following words: necromancer, witchcraft, witchcrafts, witch, sorcerer, sorcerers, sorceress, sorceries, sorcery, magician, magicians, enchanter, enchanted, enchantments, enchantment, wizard, wizards, charmer, charmers, familiar spirit, and familiar spirits.
• When you look up these words and two phrases in the King James Bible, you will find 56 verses.
• Let’s look to the first Scripture, and let’s learn the truth so you aren’t deceived.

[3] Genesis 41:8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

• When searching those 21 words and phrases, this is the very first instance in the entire Bible.
• This should tell you the first thing you need to know about magicians.
• Pharaoh has a dream. “But there was NONE that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.”
• But God can interpret the dream. God can give the dream so He certainly knows what it means.

God can do anything. Magicians can’t. They can do miracles. Understand that.

• But the doing of these miracles by magicians are not from God. Get them all together.
• They can’t do anything next to God. God will destroy all the magicians.
• And the magic trick, for some, aren’t tricks. They can actually do these things.
• But it’s not God doing these things. It’s something else that’s doing the magic. NOT GOD.
• There are devils or spirits that are trying their best to imitate God while deceiving people.
• Where were these magicians from? These are the first mentioned in the Bible. EGYPT.

[4] Exodus 7:10-12 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

• The miracle that Moses and Aaron did was from the Lord. Pharaoh is in competition here with the Lord.
• The miracle that the sorcerers and magicians did were done through enchantments.
• The Bible says so right there in verse 11. “They also did in like manner with their enchantments.”
• In other words, the miracles that the sorcerers did were not from God Almighty.
• But yes, they did miracles through enchantments. What does this mean? ENCHANTMENTS?

Enchantment Is Doing Miracles Through Devils, Magic, Spells, and Charms

The definition of enchantment is the act of producing certain wonderful effects by the invocation or aid of demons, or the agency of certain supposed spirits; the use of magic arts, spells, or charms; incantation.

• Incantation is the act of enchantment or using certain formulas of words and ceremonies.
• The entire purpose of this is to raise spirits. They think they are raising spirits from the dead.
• But these are only familiar spirits from devils. Enchant means to practice sorcery or witchcraft.
• To subdue by charms or spells. To delight to the highest degree; to charm; to ravish with pleasure.

Now, with that definition, what do you think this John Edward psychic medium is actually doing?

• He is enchanting these people and subduing them with his charm. He is delighting them.
• He is telling them what they want to hear. Some people want to talk to dead people.
• Guess what? It’s too late. They are dead. They are either in heaven or hell right now.
• If they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and had faith in Him, they are in heaven.
• If they didn’t believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and never once had faith in Him, they are in hell.
• And that’s the truth. And it doesn’t matter what the fool John Edward says.

He says things like this, “Your dad wants you to know that he’s watching over you.” Hey, this is a devil.

• A devil is watching over you. A devil is doing these miracles. A devil is telling you lies.
• And this John Edward man is controlled by the devils. Do you understand that?
• I will tell you the truth. Your dad isn’t watching over you. GOD WATCHES OVER EVERYONE.
• Your dead dad isn’t watching over you. Your dead son isn’t watching over you.
• Your dead sister isn’t watching over you. Your dead mom isn’t watching over you.
• Dead people are not God. And yes, there will be many people who hate me for saying these things.
• But I’m telling you the truth from the Bible. All the other trash you’re listening to is lies.

If you believe that dead people are watching over you like God, then you have a big problem.

• You’ve put these people up to the level of God. They are not God, and they are not watching you.
• Devils are watching and listening. But those devils are not your dad, mom, sister, or brother.
• They are fallen angels who are evil devils. And there’s a lot of them. And John Edward has one.

I have people who come to me and tell me about this or that so-called “great man of god.”

• These people will touch them, pray for them, and they will have this amazing feeling come over them.
• Hey, wake up people. This is called enchantment. They are subduing you and charming you with pleasure.
• That’s the definition. And people fall for this trash. Let me be clear here.

If this works on you, you aren’t saved yet.

• “But I get this overwhelming sense of joy and pleasure when a sorcerer touches me.”
• The you haven’t believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.
• You might say, “I started speaking in babbling tongues and I couldn’t control it.”
• Then you aren’t saved yet. If a devil takes over your body, you aren’t saved yet.
• A devil can’t take over a person who has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
• For example, if you go to the false preacher Dave Rogers of Evangel World Prayer Center in Louisville:
• And he touches you and you start speaking in babble, then you aren’t saved. This is the truth.

If you say that a demon took over your body, you blacked out, and your body twisted, then you aren’t saved.

• If you CHANT in church while flopping on the floor, you either aren’t saved or you are an acting fool.
• It’s actually much better for you to fake it than to actually have a devil take over your body.
• Notice in the Scriptures that Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. God wins. He always wins.
• All of these devils or evil spirits, NOT FLESH AND BLOOD, are out there deceiving people.

[5] Exodus 7:22 And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.

• Notice what the magicians helped do to Pharaoh. They did likewise with their enchantments.
• “And Pharaoh’s heart was hardened.” He hardened his own heart. Why?
• Because he didn’t believe God’s miracles. Why? Because of the evil sorcerers and magicians.
• The devils were helping them, and because of that, Pharaoh hardened his heart.

For example, tell one of these people who have followed John Edward that this is not God doing these things.

• That’s exactly what I said to the man. He asked me if I believed those things were real and from God.
• I told him I believe they are real, but they are not from God. I am 100% sure of that.
• How do I know? Because the words of John Edward do not match the word of God.
• How do I know? Because I know what God says in the Bible. I know the Scriptures.

That same man told me that his friend, the supposed man of God, knew the Bible very well.

• But this same man doesn’t read the Bible. How would he know that the “man of God” knew the Bible?
• You must know the Scriptures yourself in order to know if someone else knows the Scriptures.
• For example, talk with me, and I’ll immediately know whether you read the Bible or not.
• Do you know what the Bible actually says, or do you repeat what false preachers have told you?

These people have devils helping them. The devils know Jesus Christ and they tremble at Him.

• They know Jesus way better than unsaved people because they’ve been around a long time.
• They are very good at deceiving people who do not have the word of God within them.
• This is why reading and studying the Bible is so important. You might say, “The Bible is too hard for me.”
• “I don’t want to take the time to read the Bible one hour per day.” Well, okay, be ready to be deceived.
• Be ready to be a fool the rest of your life. Is that what you want?
• There are people everywhere lying in wait to deceive you. You need to know the words of the Bible.

[6] Exodus 8:7-8 And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

• These magicians were using enchantments to perform the same miracles that God was performing.
• But that came to an end.

[7] Exodus 8:18-19 And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. 19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

• This miracle the magicians could not do. They admitted that this miracle is from God.
• Magicians, sorcerers, wizards, and witches can’t do everything because devils can’t do everything.
• Devils are powerful, but they aren’t infinitely powerful as God is powerful.
• The power the devils have is actually laughable compared to the power of God.
• There is nothing too hard for the Lord. But most things are too hard for the devils.
• The magicians, sorcerers, witches, and wizards are getting their power from devils. Understand that.

Did You Really Get Something Good From A Witch?

But people will say, “But it’s a good thing that I received. I was healed of this or that.”

• But then they die anyway. Are receiving lies and being deceived by devils a good thing?
• “But John Edward made me FEEL so much better about my son passing away.”
• Listen, it doesn’t matter what you feel. If your son believed on Jesus Christ, he is in heaven.
• He is not showing up at John Edward events and speaking through John Edward. Guaranteed.
• John Edward is an evil little man. If your son didn’t believe on Jesus Christ, he is in hell.
• And your feelings will not change that. Your beliefs in what happened to him won’t change that.

Now, let’s look at some Scriptures in which God tells you what is right and what is wrong.

• This is the rock solid truth of things. We are reading the holy and perfect Scriptures from God.
• Then you can tell me if John Edward is a good man because he supposedly “helped you.”
• And this applies to anyone like him. For example, I’ve had supposed men of god put their hands on me.
• And they start praying for things. And they repeat things over and over. And they take a really long time.
• And they’ll even ask you if you felt anything. No, I didn’t. This is a good thing. I think they have devils.

So, I’m smarter than that now. If someone wants to pray for me and put their hands on me, do you know what I say now?

• Well, before we pray, let me ask you a question.
• These people are usually very forward and forceful people. Don’t allow them to be. BE BOLD.
• “Hey, what does it take for me to get to heaven? How will I be saved? Please explain that to me.”
• Allow them to show you who they truly are.
• If they have a false gospel, there won’t be any putting your hands on me. Get away from me.
• I don’t need the prayers of a devil. Be very careful out there.

[8] Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

• This is what the Bible says. If our government did its job, John Edward would be put to death.
• All psychic mediums would be put to death. Is that the right thing for our government to do?
• Do you believe God is right or not? Is the Almighty God of all creation wrong in this Scripture?
• You would think so if you have a devil, or if you are deceived by all the devils out in this world.

GOD IS RIGHT. John Edward should be put to death. He’s a lying scum bag piece of trash.

• He makes millions of dollars from playing on the feelings and emotions of people. Women love him.
• Women love Pentecostal churches because they play on your feelings. The devils fill those churches.
• Dave Rogers has a devil. Devils lead the Pentecostal churches.

[9] Leviticus 19:26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

• Is that not clear? Notice eating blood is related to enchantment and observing times.
• Astrologers are mentioned in the Bible with stargazers, magicians, and soothsayers.
• Hey, look, it’s not good to be mentioned with enchantment, magicians, and soothsayers.
• Why is that? Listen to these Scriptures.

[10] Isaiah 47:7-8 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it. 8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

[11] Isaiah 47:9-10 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. 10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.

[12] Isaiah 47:11-12 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know. 12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.

[13] Isaiah 47:13-14 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

• Now, do you think I am scared to preach something like this AGAINST the wizards and witches out there?
• After reading that, do you think someone with the Holy Spirit would be afraid of that trash?
• Notice these Scriptures mention enchantments, wickedness, pleasures, carelessness.

Loss of children, pride, arrogance, perverts, sorceries, astrologers, stargazers, monthly prognosticators.

• These people tell us the future. For example, weather forecasters attempt to predict the future weather.
• These so-called “prophets of god” attempt to predict the future.
• For example, they were all wrong about Trump winning the election. They are false prophets.
• “Something big is going to happen this year.” Well, can you be a little more specific?

Are these people going to save you? Are you counting on devils saving you?

• If so, you are in trouble because God has reserved a spot in hell for all those devils.
• Will your psychic medium with his tarot cards stand up to save you?
• “Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.”
• Now, do you really want to be on that side? God already showed you what happened to Egypt.
• He conquered all the magicians and sorcerers in Egypt. So, should you go to these people for help?

[14] Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

• Let me be very clear here. The wizards like John Edward are not helping you.
• The Bible says they are DEFILING YOU. “Neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them.”
• He says to REGARD THEM NOT. I don’t lift these fools up. I don’t even regard that they are there.
• God says, “I AM THE LORD THY GOD.” None of these people are but they get lifted up.

Why Are You Spreading the News of Psychic Mediums?

For example, what was the man I talked to actually doing? He was spreading the news of John Edward.

• He was telling me how amazing he was. No, Jesus Christ is amazing. John Edward is an idiot.
• But people continue to lift up John Edward as he is a savior. “He has helped me so much.”
• No, he hasn’t. You are deceived. Stop watching this fool. Stop listening to this fool. Regard him not.
• Now, do you not care what I am preaching here? You might say, “I will regard my psychic.”
• “I will continue to go to my psychic for help. He is my life coach.” You are a fool. Listen to this.

[15] Leviticus 20:6-8 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. 7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. 8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

• God says, “These wizards are not saving you. I am the Lord which sanctify you.”
• If you won’t listen, God gives you a warning. He says, “I WILL EVEN SET MY FACE AGAINST YOU.”

[16] Leviticus 20:27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

• This is what God thinks of witch, wizard, sorcerer, and magician. They shall surely be put to death.
• So, if you want to make God angry, become one of these or support them.
• Do you really think God is working at the shows of these psychic mediums? GET REAL.

What a joke. God Almighty hates this trash because the devils are working there and not God.

• They are tricking you, deceiving you, taking your money, and laughing the entire time.
• And you might say, “God doesn’t hate these people. God loves these people. They helped me.”
• “So I know God loves them. He is a God of love.” Well, let’s see what God actually says.

[17] Deuteronomy 18:9-12 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

• God drives these people away. He will throw them into hell if they won’t be converted.
• These are fortune tellers, observers of times, enchanters, witches, charmers, consulters of familiar spirits.
• Wizards or necromancers. God lists them all out there for you.
• “For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord.”
• This means they are greatly hated by the Lord. And you can argue against God’s words all you want.
• And you would be wrong. So, is John Edward a good person? NO.

[18] 1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

• Again, witchcraft is not good at all. It is a sin, and it is a great sin. The Bible says so.
• It doesn’t matter if you think you’re going to be a good witch. All witchcraft is evil.
• Do not be deceived. There is no good witch. There is no good fortune teller.
• There is no good magic. There is no good magician. Do you not understand this?
• People will say, “Oh, but this is good magic.” Hey, God says there is no good magic.

[19] 1 Samuel 28:3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

• King Saul had previously put away those that had familiar spirits and the wizards out of the land.
• What does that mean? He had put them to death just as God commanded. He knew it was wrong.
• Saul didn’t do all evil all the time. He was a saved man that did much wrong.

[20] 1 Samuel 28:7-8 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at En-dor. 8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

[21] 1 Samuel 28:9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?

• Now Saul seeks a familiar spirit and goes to a witch. Very bad move.

[22] 1 Chronicles 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it;

• If you are saved person who had trusted in Jesus Christ, let this be a warning for you.
• Saul died for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit to inquire of it. The familiar spirit is a devil.
• Are you really going to ask a devil for counsel? That’s what Saul did. He died for it.

[23] 2 Kings 9:22 And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

• Jezebel was a whore and a witch. That goes together too. Witches are whores.
• Notice what’s happening in this Scripture. Joram sent two messengers to meet Jehu. They didn’t return.
• Joram meets Jehu face to face, “Is it peace, Jehu?” Jehu tells him he’s not here for peace.
• Was Jehu afraid of this man whose family were witches and whores? No, he wasn’t afraid.
• Witches and wizards think we should be afraid of them, but we aren’t afraid of them.
• We fear nothing but God. Who was afraid? Look at the next verse.

[24] 2 Kings 9:23-24 And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah. 24 And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

• Jehu comes to Joram. And Joram turned his hands and ran like the chicken and loser that he was.
• Jehu killed that man. And then what happened? Jehu killed Ahaziah too.
• He took out both kings the same day. And then Jehu went and killed Jezebel the whore and witch next.
• Jehu calls her a cursed woman. Dogs ate the flesh of Jezebel.

[25] 2 Kings 17:17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

God Hates Enchantments and the Use of Familiar Spirits

[26] 2 Kings 21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

• This is why God hates divination, familiar spirits, and wizards.
• They make Him very angry because they do wickedness. They do no good.
• Many people “THINK” they are doing good, but they aren’t doing good at all.
• They have no fear of God and no wisdom at all. The deserve death just as God says over and over again.

[27] 2 Kings 23:24 Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.

• Josiah was a good king, and he put them all away. Guess what you won’t find in the Bible?
• You won’t any Scriptures that tell you magicians, sorcerers, witches, and wizards are good. NONE.

[28] 2 Chronicles 33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

• This is pure evil, and this is the result of magic, sorcery, witchcraft, and wizardry.
• By the way, I think it’s sick that Bob Rogers teaches that Harry Potter is evil, but he’s doing all of the same things within his church that he calls “Christian.”
• He’s a babbler who thinks he’s speaking in an angelic language when he’s babbling because of a devil.

[29] Ecclesiastes 10:11 Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.

• This Scripture fits right in. Serpents bite without enchantment and a babbler is no better than a serpent.

[30] Isaiah 8:19-20 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

• If someone is directing you to a magician, sorcerer, witch, wizard, or psychic, they aren’t good.
• There is no light in them. These people peep and mutter. You’ll hear this in Pentecostal churches.
• These people seek familiar spirits, and they want you to do the same.
• But God says not to seek familiar spirits, wizards, witches, magicians, soothsayers, or necromancers.

[31] Isaiah 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

• When God no longer answers people, they seek familiar spirits. That’s what happened with Saul.
• They will seek people who will give them what they want. They seek charmers and wizards.
• The magicians, witches, wizards, and sorcerers won’t seem like evil people. They are deceivers.

[32] Isaiah 29:4 And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.

• When someone was living with us in the basement, Pam says she would hear a different voice below us.
• The voice was much deeper and there was a conversation being made between people. It wasn’t the TV.
• And these same people admit to being witches and wizards in the past.
• One says that he could feel the dead people and tell the future for some people who were living.
• “Someone here is going to die tomorrow.” And he says it would happen. Not sure if that’s the truth.
• But I wouldn’t doubt it because devils can do miracles.

[33] Isaiah 57:3-5 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore. 4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood, 5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

• The children of the sorceress were seeds of adulterers and whores. What did they do?

• Do you not think this happens today? There are a lot of missing children out there.

[34] Jeremiah 27:9-10 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: 10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

• There are so-called “prophets of God” out there today who are dreamers, enchanters, and sorcerers.
• Many of them will tell me all about their dreams that they have and how they will come true.
• But they are liars and dreamers. They are enchanters, tale bearers, and sorcerers.
• THEY PROPHESY LIES. In churches all over this world, they prophesy lies. They are not the people of God.

[35] Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

• Magicians and astrologers have the wisdom of man.
• Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego received wisdom from God. There is no comparison.
• Many kids growing up want to be magicians, astrologers, stargazers, witches, wizards, and sorcerers.
• They think that they’ll have something special, but they won’t.
• If you want something special, you should put all your time and energy into God’s words.
• That is where you’ll find something special. GOD IS AMAZING. Devils are not amazing.

God Can Do Anything But Devils Cannot

In the Book of Daniel, you will see that the so-called “wise men” who were magicians couldn’t interpret dreams.

• But God gave Daniel the actual dreams and the meaning of the dreams.
• Again, God knows everything. Devils do not. Why would you want to seek after evil devils?

[36] Micah 5:12-15 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers: 13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. 14 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. 15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

• There’s another warning from God. He hates all of these things. He hates witchcrafts and soothsayers.
• He doesn’t love them. You need to stay away from these people.

[37] Nahum 3:4-5 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. 5 Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

• Again, God relates whoredoms, harlots, mistresses, witches, nakedness, and shame.
• None of these things are good. Be very careful. Stay away from these things.
• Don’t run to them because you think they make you feel better. They soothe you, right? WRONG.

[38] Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

• These people do not fear God. He says so. You don’t want to be around these people.
• They run their mouth against God and His Savior Jesus Christ. I wouldn’t be around them.
• Why? God might be pouring out His wrath on them, and you don’t want any part of that.
• Now we move to the New Testament, and this is very important so please listen.

[39] Acts 8:9-11 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: 10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. 11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

• This is exactly what this man I talked to was doing for this man named John Edward.
• He had great regard for this man because he made him feel better about the death of his son.
• This is what evil and wicked people will do including false preachers.
• I won’t lie to the man about his son and make up stories about his son.
• I don’t know if his son made it to heaven because I don’t know if he believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.
• He could have, and then he is in a much better place.

But, if he didn’t, he is burning in hell right now. And that’s the truth from the Bible.

• And that’s why it’s so important to love your children and teach them the truth.
• If you love your child, sit down with them and read the Bible every day. Only good comes from that.
• Just like Simon, I was told that John Edward was some great one. He’s using sorcery.
• He’s using wizardry, and he’s very good at it. But he has no power from God.
• I was told that only God could have told him these things. WRONG. Devils do miracles. Don’t be deceived.

There aren’t ghosts of people out there floating around. There are spirits of devils out there.

• They are called familiar spirits in the Bible as they are playing games with people.
• They are trying to send people to hell. You need to stay away from all these things as God commands.
• Don’t hunt for ghosts and for dead spirits as so many people are doing today.
• You aren’t going to find ANYTHING good. So you better stay away from these things.
• Are they real? Yes, devils are real. Fallen angels are real. And there’s millions of them out there.
• Now, here’s the part I want you to understand. I want you to see what the Scriptures say.

[40] Acts 8:12-13 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

• Simon the sorcerer ended up getting saved right there. He believed the preaching of Jesus Christ.
• This means sorcerers, witches, magicians, and wizards can be saved by Jesus Christ.
• Many of them aren’t yet rejected. Many of them were tricked into these things.
• And yes, they can be saved because the Bible says so. Will I preach the Gospel to these people?
• Yes, I will because of this example right here. If they listen, they have a shot.
• But many will resist you, and fight against you. Listen to this in Acts Chapter 13.

[41] Acts 13:6-8 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus: 7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

[42] Acts 13:9-11 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

• Now, you tell me who is stronger. There is no comparison. This sorcerer didn’t want to be saved.
• The Holy Spirit gives us the truth here that this sorcerer was a reject. He didn’t have a chance.
• The Bible tells us that he is a child of the devil. “THOU ENEMY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
• He’s always perverting the right ways of the Lord. The Lord makes this man blind for a season.
• God is always infinite times stronger and more powerful. You want to be on God’s side.
• Let’s continue in the New Testament as there are only a few more here.

Witchcraft Is a Work of The Flesh and In Our Flesh Dwells No Good Thing

[43] Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

• If you are a witch, and you won’t stop and believe on Jesus Christ, you will not go to heaven.
• Notice all the things on this list. Witchcraft is a work of the flesh. You won’t be saved through your flesh.
• It doesn’t matter if you actually think you’re helping people by being a witch or wizard. You aren’t.
• The media and Hollywood will make you think these people are good. GOD SAYS OTHERWISE. He’s right.

[44] Revelation 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

• This is during God’s wrath being poured out on the earth during the end times events.
• They just won’t stop. They won’t repent of their sorceries. There are reprobates who can’t stop.
• They won’t stop even after they see the wrath of God being poured out.
• Don’t be surprised if you can’t convince some of them to believe on Jesus Christ.

[45] Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

• Are all nations deceived right now? Yes. You can see this very easily. How are they deceived?
• “For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” And you wonder why God hates sorcerers?

[46] Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

• We all know this Scripture well as we’ve memorized it twice already this year. SORCERERS are on the list.
• They shall have their part in the lake which burneth with dire and brimstone if they are not forgiven.
• You are only forgiven by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as Simon the sorcerer did.
• In his soul, he was no longer a sorcerer. He was saved from his sins in his soul.
• If you’ve been one of these people in the past, it’s time to believe on Jesus Christ and escape from hell.

[47] Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

• Again, it’s not cool to be a magician, sorcerer, witch, or wizard. It’s actually going to be very hot.
• You must believe on Jesus Christ and stop trusting in all of that trash. You are being deceived.
• Live by the word of God and not by the words of these fools and devils who are misleading you.
• If you aren’t sure about a preacher who you think might be evil, it’s time to ask them about the Gospel.
• “What must I do to be saved?” If they say anything other than “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” or faith alone, then you need to get away.

[48] 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

• Please wake up out there and stop being deceived. Get a King James Bible and read it every day.
• And I’m not talking about a few verses each day or even a few chapters. Read 15 minutes 4 times a day.
• That’s a good start. Then read it some more. You’ll find truth there, and you won’t be deceived.

[49] 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

• Stop trusting in men and women because they all are going to be dead soon. JESUS IS ALIVE.
• You should trust Him because He gave you life, and He can give you everlasting life.
• Put all 100% of your trust in Him, and He’ll save you right now.
• Hold fast that which is good. Magic, sorcery, witchcraft, and wizardry is not good. RID YOURSELF OF IT.
• We went through many Scriptures today, and I hope you’ve seen the truth now.
• There are no other Scriptures that say any of these things are approved by God. He hates them.
