[2] The title of the sermon: “PHYSICAL ISRAEL VERSUS SPIRITUAL ISRAEL.”

  • The Bible is very clear that there is a physical Israel and a spiritual Israel.
  • Some people who don’t read the Bible will want to argue with this.
  • They will say that there is no difference in physical Israel versus spiritual Israel.
  • They will even say that there is no spiritual Israel. We’re going to look at this today.

[3] Romans 9:6-8 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

  • What would this mean if there isn’t a physical Israel AND a spiritual Israel?
  • “They are not all Israel which are of Israel.” Within physical Israel, they are not all of Israel.
  • There must be something more to this then. And God explains it in the Scriptures.

How would you understand what God is actually teaching us here in these Scriptures?

  • They are not all children of Israel because they physically come from the physical line of Israel.
  • “They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God.”
  • “The children of the promise are COUNTED for the seed.”
  • God promises to save us through His Son Jesus Christ. If we have faith in Jesus, we are the children of God.

The children of the flesh are not the children of God.

  • If you think your flesh will save you, you are not the children of God.
  • It doesn’t matter PHYSICALLY who your dad or mom happens to be.
  • A physical child of Abraham could have went to hell.
  • A physical child of Isaac, such as Esau, went to hell. God hated Esau.

It doesn’t matter who your physical parents happen to be.

  • Did the physical children of Israel have advantages? Yes, they did have advantages. We are not them.
  • God gave His words to the physical children of Israel. He made a covenant with them. They broke it.
  • Could we have done better? No. We’ve broken it too.
  • Being a physical descendant of Israel doesn’t automatically mean they were the children of God.

[4] Romans 9:9-11 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. 10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

[5] Romans 9:12-14 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

  • We are not Calvinists here. God hated Esau after Esau rejected God and hated God.
  • God didn’t hate Esau from the womb. The Bible doesn’t say this.
  • Esau was a profane person, but yet, he was a PHYSICAL CHILD of Isaac and Rebecca.
  • Esau was not a child of God, but he was a child of “THE” physical ISRAEL who was Jacob.
  • You’ll find the word Israel in the Bible 2,300 times. Here’s the first time in all of the Bible.

[6] Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

  • Jacob wrestled with Jesus Christ. Jesus changes his name to ISRAEL. Jacob is Israel.
  • Jacob has 12 sons who are the 12 tribes of Israel.
  • Many clowns will say, “If you’re spiritual Israel, what tribe are you from?”
  • The Bible doesn’t say that spiritual Israel has 12 physical tribes. That doesn’t make any sense.
  • I am not in a physical tribe of Israel. But I am spiritually Israel because I believe just as Jacob believed.

I believe God’s promises just as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob believed. We have the same Father.

  • There are many other people who went to hell who were physically from Israel.
  • They were physically from the 12 tribes of Israel. The rich man in hell called Abraham his father.
  • Take a look at this.

[7] Luke 16:23-24 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

  • This man is in hell. He lift up his eyes, being in torments. “Father Abraham, have mercy on me.”
  • He still think Abraham is his father and Abraham can save him from hell. He still doesn’t get it.
  • He’s physically from Abraham, just like Esau is his physical grandson. But God hated Esau.

Jesus calls many, NOT ALL, of the Pharisees children of the devil.

  • They were physically from Israel. Jesus tells us they are reprobates just like Esau.
  • They are going to hell because they are children of the flesh. They think their flesh saves them.
  • People who have a works based salvation, that they will never give up, are children of the flesh.
  • That’s plenty of examples to prove 100% without a doubt that there’s more to the children of Israel.
  • There is a physical Israel and a spiritual Israel.

[8] Galatians 4:21-24 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

[9] Galatians 4:25-26 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

  • There are 2 different Jerusalem’s. There is one here on earth which pictures a works based salvation.
  • This Jerusalem on earth is a picture of the physical children of Israel.
  • The other Jerusalem in heaven is a spiritual Jerusalem which is free and holy. There is no sin there.
  • But, the Jerusalem here on earth is full of sin. Where was Jesus killed? That should tell you something.
  • Would Jesus be put to death in the heavenly Jerusalem? No, He is King there.

[10] Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

  • The earthly Jerusalem is wicked. The heavenly Jerusalem is perfect.
  • This tells you there is a physical Israel and a spiritual Israel.
  • The spiritual Israel replaced the physical Israel because physically you can’t do it.
  • The New Testament replaced the Old Testament because you can’t be perfect through the law.
  • You can’t follow all the law. The physical children of Israel proved all of this already.

[11] Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

  • Isaac, the younger son of Abraham, replaced Ishmael and received the blessing through faith.
  • Jacob, the younger son of Isaac, replaced Esau and received the blessing through faith.
  • Abel replaced Cain until Cain slew him. Seth then replaced Cain through faith.
  • The first Adam was replaced by the second Adam who is Jesus Christ. He saved us all.

[12] Romans 11:26-27 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

  • If all of physical Israel was saved, what happened to the rich man in hell?
  • What happened to the Pharisees? What happened to the other thief on the cross who mocked Jesus?
  • What happened to Esau?
  • Obviously, according to the Bible, there are 2 different Israel’s just like there are 2 different Jerusalem’s.
  • Physical Israel and Spiritual Israel. All of spiritual Israel shall be saved. It’s the entire point of the Bible.

So, we’ve talked about this before in detail. Physical Israel and Spiritual Israel.

  • It’s not difficult to understand, and it is written in the Bible. It must be important. God explains.
  • God teaches us. We’re going to look at this topic a little differently today.

Is there a difference in physical Israel and spiritual Israel?

  • Are they the same people? Are they different people? What is this talking about?
  • For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel. All of Israel shall be saved.
  • We already who will be saved. It’s only those people with faith in Jesus Christ.
  • It’s never about a physical person and their physical line of descendants.
  • God doesn’t choose to save some and not other because of their physical descendants.

Let me ask you this. Can people who are physically of Israel be a part of the saved spiritual Israel?

  • What do you think? Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Joshua, Caleb, Samuel, Saul, David, Solomon, Jonathan?
  • Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Peter, John, Paul. All physically of Israel. They are all saved by faith.
  • They were not saved because of their physical descendants. Paul says so over and over again.
  • So physical children of Israel can be a part of spiritual Israel and be saved.
  • But not all physical children of Israel will be saved. They weren’t. You can see this in the Bible.
  • Jacob goes to heaven. Esau goes to hell. TWIN BROTHERS FROM THE SAME FATHER AND MOTHER.
  • Born just seconds apart. Esau is older. He is replaced by his younger brother. He is blessed through faith.

The Bible is very clear that people of physical Israel can also be of spiritual Israel. We know they are.

  • People of spiritual Israel don’t have to be of physical Israel. We know this for a fact.
  • We are not of physical Israel, but we are of spiritual Israel.
  • The Bible says we are the same as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  • But we aren’t physically their descendants. We aren’t from one of the 12 tribes of Israel.

They came first. We came after the physical children of Israel. They are replaced by spiritual Israel.

  • Spiritual Israel are God’s chosen people, and they always have been.
  • People who believe the promises of God are God’s people. We are God’s people.
  • We are equal to the physical children of Israel who believe God’s promises.

[13] Matthew 20:1-2 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

  • These laborers were working early in the morning. They agreed to a penny a day. There were first.

[14] Matthew 20:3-4 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

  • These are the next people in line. They were next.

[15] Matthew 20:5-7 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

  • The Scriptures weren’t given directly to us. They were given to the physical children of Israel.
  • They have been working a long time. We haven’t been working as long. We came later.

[16] Matthew 20:8-9 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

  • Everyone received a penny. Anyone who believes on Jesus Christ receives salvation.
  • It doesn’t matter if they were first or last. It doesn’t matter who much work they’ve done already.
  • It doesn’t matter if they are a babe in Christ or great woman of God of 80 years.
  • They both go to heaven. It doesn’t matter if he was a malefactor up until 5 minutes before he died.
  • If he believes on Jesus Christ, he goes to heaven. Doesn’t matter who his dad or mom happens to be.

[17] Matthew 20:10-12 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

  • Notice that the Bible says, “And thou hast made them EQUAL unto us, which have borne the burden.”
  • We are all equal. The thief on the cross came in at the end. And he is in heaven with Jesus Christ.
  • The believing Gentiles are made equal with the believing children of Israel.

[18] Matthew 20:13-16 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

  • God’s people have been serving Him for a long time. But now we show up and start serving God.
  • But the first people want more than what He’s already given them. “This isn’t fair.”
  • You are all equal now. There is no difference in Jew and Greek. God doesn’t have a preference.

[19] 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many.

  • Believing in Jesus Christ is what equals everything out for all in heaven.
  • Not one person made it to heaven by doing something other than believing.
  • They are the spiritual children of God. But there’s more to this.

They were doing the work of God, and now they aren’t doing the work of God.

  • The Gentiles weren’t doing the work of God, and now they are doing the work of God.
  • You can see this with the man-made nation of Israel right now and the Christians.

Am I wrong? Are you here in reality? What’s actually happened? You can see the truth. It matches the Bible.

  • Why is it so difficult to understand the difference between FLESH AND SPIRIT?
  • Between physical and spiritual? Those who are spiritual can understand.
  • Those who are not spiritual cannot understand. Without the Holy Spirit, you can’t understand.
  • So, I constantly try to explain to people calling me a false preacher the difference in physical and spiritual.

[20] John 3:10-12 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

  • Physical Israel, as a whole, not everyone, attempted to do things on their own.
  • They broke God’s covenant with them in every way possible, BUT NOT ALL OF THEM.

[21] Romans 11:1-3 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

  • Elijah prayed against Israel. The Bible says so right there. Did he pray against physical Israel?
  • Or did he pray against spiritual Israel?
  • Praying against spiritual Israel would mean praying against Jesus Christ.
  • They killed the prophets of God. They digged down His altars. They sought to kill Elijah.
  • Physical Israel fought against spiritual Israel. Elijah is a part of spiritual Israel.

[22] Romans 11:4-6 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

  • God didn’t cast away all of physical Israel. Why? Because some are a part of spiritual Israel.

[23] John 8:43-45 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

  • Jesus is talking to PHYSICAL ISRAEL right here.

[24] John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

  • Jesus came from physical Israel too. He is from the line of David, a physical Israelite.
  • He is the lion of the tribe of Judah, one of the 12 tribes of Israel.

[25] Matthew 21:33-34 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

[26] Matthew 21:35-37 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

  • Who do you think this parable is about? PHYSICAL ISRAEL rejecting JESUS CHRIST.
  • You should be able to clearly see this. The Bible is explaining this clearly.
  • And you’ll even see that the Pharisees understand He is talking about physical Israel.

[27] Matthew 21:38-40 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

[28] Matthew 21:41-42 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

  • Now watch this closely in the next Scripture. Please see this and pay attention here.

[29] Matthew 21:43-45 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

  • The kingdom of God shall be taken from you. They WERE God’s chosen people.
  • He chose them to bring His words to the world. That will be taken from them.
  • They will not see the kingdom of heaven because they broke God’s covenant in every way.

The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a NATION bringing forth fruits thereof.

  • The physical children of Israel are replaced by the spiritual children of Israel.
  • The kingdom shall be taken from you and given to a different nation.
  • “And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.”

Even the Pharisees, or a works based religion, knew Jesus was talking about them.

  • The works based salvation people of today can’t even see this.
  • The physical children of Israel today can’t even see this. They are blind just as God says He would do.
  • Now, is this enough to convince someone of the difference in physical and spiritual Israel?
  • Probably not. They trip and fall over the parables. Jesus is talking directly to the physical children of Israel.
  • And He keeps going directly after this one. He gives them another parable.

[30] Matthew 22:1-3 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

  • God the Father is the King. Jesus is the Son. He called the physical children of Israel to the wedding.
  • “And they would not come.”

[31] Matthew 22:4-6 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

  • They didn’t just NOT COME. They ended up killing his servants too. They slew them.

[32] Matthew 22:7-9 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

  • God will destroy the physical children of Israel who won’t believe on His Son. This is easy to see.
  • Go out there and find other people who will believe.
  • They are invited. They reject this invitation. God sends forth His armies to destroy them.
  • And yes, this has happened to them already. For example, the Romans had a 7 year war with the Jews.
  • They burned up their city. This will happen again. They hate Jesus Christ. God destroys them.
  • So, will all of physical Israel be saved? No, of course not. Will all of spiritual Israel be saved? Yes.

[33] Matthew 22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

  • The Gentiles represent people to the ends of the earth. We’ve went over the Gentiles before.
  • Go out further and find the Gentiles. Those who believe become spiritual Israel.
  • Let me say this again. Physical Israel is not filled with God’s chosen people.
  • It’s not about the physical. It’s all about the spiritual. Physical Israel is all about the physical.

But, again, God didn’t totally get rid of all of the people in physical Israel because they are part of spiritual Israel.

  • The apostle John is physically of Israel but also a part of spiritual Israel.
  • God’s chosen people are all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many parables, within the Gospel’s, are about physical Israel. When you read them, notice what they say.

  • Many people who defend physical Israel, ZIONISTS, will constantly say Israel is the fig tree.
  • They think this is a good thing. Let’s take a look.
  • We search for fig tree in the New Testament. Here’s the first verse. Notice where this is located.

[34] Matthew 21:19-20 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

  • Matthew Chapter 21. We were just there. Jesus was speaking in parables about physical Israel.
  • He sees a fig tree in the way. He finds NO FRUIT on the fig tree.
  • He says, “Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever.” And the fig tree withers away.
  • What happens? It is replaced by a tree that brings forth fruit.

[35] Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

  • How many years did Jesus Christ give physical Israel prior to this?
  • Remember, He came unto HIS OWN and HIS OWN received Him not. They aren’t doing God’s work.
  • They are not winning souls to Jesus Christ. They don’t even believe in Jesus Christ.
  • Cut it down. Cut the tree at the root. He grafts in other people.

But He doesn’t cut out the prophets and the apostles who win people to Jesus Christ.

  • They are still winning people to Jesus Christ through the books written by them through the Holy Spirit.
  • So, don’t get this wrong. Physical Israel has not been completely rejected by God.
  • You can see this throughout the Bible. Which people wrote much of the Bible? Physical Israel.
  • But, again, spiritual Israel wrote this through the HOLY SPIRIT. They have the Holy Spirit with them.
  • They are spiritual. They still have the flesh, but they are spiritual.
  • Our physical flesh, soul, and spirit speak to this same thing.
  • We have flesh, but do we have the Spirit of God? If not, we are not a part of spiritual Israel.

[36] Romans 8:14-16 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

  • This is a physical Israelite speaking to people who are not physical Israelites.
  • This is a spiritual Israelite speaking to spiritual Israelites. NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE.
  • They are the same. They are all equal because they have the Spirit of God.
  • “The Spirit itself beareth witness with OUR SPIRIT, that WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD.”
  • We are all spiritual Israel. We are fellow citizens. Listen to this.

[37] Ephesians 2:16-18 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

[38] Ephesians 2:19-20 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

  • I hope you see the truth now in the Bible. Physical Israel are not the chosen people.
  • Most of them do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. They reject Him. REALITY. TRUTH.
  • Through Jesus Christ, we receive the Spirit of God. We are not strangers and foreigners to heaven.

Spiritually, we are the children of God. We are fellowcitizens with the saints. WE ARE SAINTS.

  • We are saved. We are sanctified through the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • We are built upon the foundation of the apostles, prophets, and especially Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Israel are the chosen people of God. Why? Because they have believed in Jesus Christ.

  • They have put all their trust in Jesus and not in their physical flesh.
  • We know that works, in any way, shape, and form, DO NOT SAVE US.
  • Once we hear the word and trust in Jesus Christ, we receive the Holy Ghost.

And now we are spiritual Israel. We are the same as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

  • We are children of the promise. We are children of faith. We are like Abel.
  • We have not gone in the way of Cain with his works based salvation.
  • Physical Israel, today, has gone in the way of Cain. They are still trying to keep the law.
  • They are still trying to be like Moses who God sought to kill because Moses didn’t follow all the law.

[39] Exodus 4:24-26 And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him. 25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me. 26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.

  • Why would you want to be like Moses who we know broke the law? He couldn’t even keep it himself.
  • Do you really think you can? God spoke to Moses face to face over and over again.
  • Now, physically, do you think you can do what Moses himself couldn’t do? You can’t.
  • He didn’t get to cross over to the physical promised land.
  • He couldn’t physically couldn’t keep the whole law. NO ONE CAN. That’s the point.

But yet, physical Israel actually thinks that they do keep the law. But they don’t do animal sacrifices.

  • They don’t love God. They don’t keep the Passover as written in the Bible.
  • They’ve made up their own ways, and they act as if they follow God’s ways.
  • The Old Covenant has been replaced by the New Covenant that speaketh better things than the old.

[40] Jeremiah 31:31-32 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

[41] Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

  • This is speaking of the new covenant and a spiritual Israel.
  • He puts His law in our inward parts and writes it in our hearts through faith in Him.
  • We receive His Spirit, which makes us SPIRITUAL.
  • No man has ever been saved by following the law. It’s impossible. Physical Israel proved this.
  • You can’t do better than them. Am I saying to not follow God’s laws?

[42] Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

  • I have never taught that it’s okay to sin, but people that haven’t listened to one sermon will say that I do.
  • No, we establish the law through faith. We don’t offer animal sacrifices because Jesus is our sacrifice.
  • He fulfilled that law for us. For the physical Israelites, though, they don’t believe in Jesus.
  • So, if they are going to follow the law, they better follow the whole law.

[43] Galatians 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

  • If you think physical circumcision saves you, then you better follow the whole law.
  • If you think physical water baptism saves you, then you better follow the whole law.
  • You better not offend in one point. Physical Israel does not equal God’s elect.
  • Spiritual Israel has always been God’s elect. All those who believe in Jesus Christ are His saints.
  • I hope this helps you understand a little more about the differences in physical and spiritual Israel.

Let’s pray.

In my heart I believe your preaching is true. when I was a new believer and in my dream GOD showed me a scripture yeah in my dream my pastor was preaching this scripture to me saying Isaiah 2:5 and I woke up and started to seach my bible and there it was Isaiah 2:5 Oh house of Jacob come and let us walk in the light of the LORD. . The word of GOD was saying to me I’m spiritual Israel/ child of GOD I must follow Christ in doing HIS will.

It’s so refreshing to hear from a brother in Christ that speaks with true discernment and understanding of the ‘Word of God.’ It is the Holy Spirit who teaches us and leads us into all truth and understanding of HIs Word.
Bless you brother and may our Father continue to bless you as you have blessed me!

Thank you, Susan! I appreciate you being here, my sister in Christ. Yes, we both have the Holy Spirit who teaches us. I am very thankful He is teaching us the truth and giving us understanding. I am always praying and asking Him for more understanding. If we use this knowledge that He gives us, we are wise. I believe He gives us more if we use it! May God bless you greatly. I hope to meet you in the future!
