Category: Grace & Grit
Welcome to FaithFuel Daily—a raw, real, and relevant devotional to ignite your walk with Christ. One verse. One fire. Every day.
Scripture of the Day
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
When Grace Doesn’t Feel Gentle
Sometimes grace doesn’t feel soft. It feels like grit—like clinging to God through tears, crawling when you can’t walk, and holding on when everything in you screams to let go.
Paul didn’t ask for a promotion—he asked for relief. And God said no.
Why? Because the lesson wasn’t power through strength—it was power through surrender.
Weakness Is Not a Disqualification
In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul begs God three times to take away a thorn in his flesh. God answers, “My grace is sufficient for thee.” That wasn’t a denial—it was a declaration.
God’s grace doesn’t always remove the struggle. Sometimes, it empowers you to outlast it.
He doesn’t need your strength. He uses your weakness.
Grit Is Grace in Action
Grace isn’t passive. It doesn’t mean quitting.
It means you keep going even when your strength is gone—because God’s strength is still enough.
Every weakness, every failure, every tear is a reminder that you’re not the source of power—He is.
Let Grace Carry You
What if your biggest weakness is God’s greatest opportunity to show up?
Say it out loud: “Lord, I’m weak—but You are strong.”
Don’t fake strength. Don’t hide the pain. Let grace meet you in the grit. That’s where the real miracle is.
