Category: Faith & Fire
Welcome to FaithFuel Dailyโa raw, real, and relevant devotional to ignite your walk with Christ. One verse. One fire. Every day.
Scripture of the Day
Matthew 11:6
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
When God Doesnโt Meet Your Expectations
John the Baptist, once bold in his faith, now sat in a cold prison cell, questioning everything. The man who called Jesus โthe Lamb of Godโ now asked, โAre you really the one?โ
Why? Because Jesus wasnโt doing what John expected.
Sometimes, God will offend your expectationsโnot to hurt your faith, but to prove it.
Offended by Godโs Silence
Jesus didnโt rush to explain or rescue. Instead, He said, โBlessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.โ
God doesnโt always follow our script. He delays. He denies. He detours.
And in those moments, your faith is either revealedโor replaced by offense.
Faith That Trusts Without Answers
If your faith only stands when life makes sense, itโs not faithโitโs convenience.
Jesus doesnโt exist to meet our expectations. He exists to be trusted, even when He says โnoโ or stays silent.
Real faith says, โI still trust Youโeven if You donโt explain.โ
Let Go of the Offense
Are you holding a grudge against God because He didnโt do what you hoped?
Todayโs the day to trade your offense for trust.
Say it out loud: โLord, I donโt need answersโI just need You.โ
Thatโs where real fire begins.
