Note: I preached this sermon at the Seattle, Washington church plant named Sure Foundation Baptist Church Seattle. This is a church plant of Sure Foundation Baptist Church in Vancouver, Washington and pastored by my pastor, Pastor Aaron Thompson. I greatly appreciate the opportunities given to me by Pastor Thompson to preach at the many different churches around this area.
The title of the sermon is “The Right Hand Man.” Here’s a PDF of the sermon text: [download id=”16783″]
- For this sermon, I studied the phrase “right hand” throughout the Scriptures.
- There are 167 matches in 161 different verses so this phrase “right hand” shows up often.
- 117 verses in the Old Testament and 44 verses in the New Testament.
- Psalms has the most occurrences with 38 verses, Isaiah with 10, and Matthew with 10.
- I looked at each of those Scriptures in detail.
I am going to use this study to prove that Jesus Christ is God, but He is not God the Father.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God Himself, but He is not God the Father.
- We need to realize how quickly this oneness heresy is spreading throughout this country.
- Idiots hear someone say that Jesus is God the Father and they fall for it immediately.
- I’m sure you’ve heard all the basics of the trinity and that God is one God in three persons.
Today, I want to come at this in a different way so you can this truth within the Bible in a different light.
- Jesus Christ is the right hand man of God the Father.
- I want to show you how silly it is to think that Jesus is God the Father.
Oneness or Modalists believe that the name of God the Father is Jesus.
- They say the name of the Son of God is Jesus. They say the name of the Holy Spirit is Jesus.
- VERY WEIRD. Weirdos. Did they read the Bible at all?
- There are so many different ways to disprove their stupid false doctrine.
- Today, we’ll look at this from studying the right hand throughout the Bible.
When I look at the dictionary for this, I see that a right hand man is an indispensable or invaluable assistant. A TRUSTED HELPER.
- In most people, the right hand is the stronger of the two. Please turn to Psalm Chapter 110.
- The dictionary says the origin of the phrase “right hand man” was first recorded in 1655.
- But, as we already know, this concept actually comes from the Bible which is everlasting.
- Jesus Christ is “THE” right hand man of God the Father and Jesus is everlasting.
Psalm 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
- Make sure you look closely at this Scripture. The LORD said unto my Lord.
- This is a Psalm of David. Do you not believe that David knew the Son of God?
- David knew there was more than one person in the one God of all creation.
David says in Psalm Chapter 51 verse 11: “Take not thy Holy Spirit from me.”
- David knew there were 3 persons in one God.
- He writes about the Father and the Son in Psalm Chapter 110 right there in your Bible.
- There are 3 people mentioned in the verse there. David is one of the people as he is the writer.
- The other 2 mentioned there are The LORD in all capitals and my Lord.
- THE LORD SAID UNTO MY LORD. There’s God the Father and Jesus Christ right there.
David’s Lord is Jesus Christ. And the Father told Jesus Christ to: “Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
- If you don’t believe this to be the truth, Jesus Christ Himself explains this.
- Please turn to Matthew Chapter 22. Matthew Chapter 22.
- When Jesus Christ clearly explains something, all people who call themselves Christians should listen.
But instead, the Modalists, who say God is only one person who changes modes, will never listen to Jesus Christ who they proclaim to follow.
- We know that they do not follow Jesus Christ. They follow Satan with their false doctrine.
- Let’s see how Jesus Christ explains this in Matthew Chapter 22. Look at verse 41 to start there.
- And please remember this is Jesus Christ speaking here. He doesn’t lie to us EVER.
- The word of God never lies to us. These are the words directly from the mouth of God.
Matthew 22:41-42 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David.
- Jesus asks the Pharisees for their opinion. “What think ye of Christ? Whose son is He?”
- So clearly they believe that Christ has a Father. And who is the Father of Christ?
- They believe that Christ is a Son of someone. The Pharisees answer that He is The Son of David.
- This is a true statement. The Bible says that Jesus is the Son of David.
- But the Pharisees didn’t quite get it and Jesus knew that. So He questions them. Verse 43.
Matthew 22:43-46 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? 45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? 46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
- If the Christ is the son of David, why then would David call him Lord?
- Same thing with Abraham. Jesus is the son of Abraham. Why would Abraham call him Lord?
- THE LORD said unto my Lord. The Christ is the son of David but David calls him Lord.
- We know the answer to this. We know there is a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We know there are 3 that bear record in heaven. We know that there are 3 persons in one God.
- We know that Jesus Christ was manifest in the flesh to save us who are of the flesh.
- We know God the Father told Christ, the son of God, the son of David, to sit on his right hand.
- Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God. But the Pharisees would not hear Jesus Christ.
- They didn’t ask Jesus to explain what He meant. They didn’t ask him any more questions.
The Oneness Pentecostals and the Modalists proclaim to love Acts Chapter 2 and especially verse 38.
- The Trinity or triune God, the LIVING GOD, not a fairy tale, is shown in Acts Chapter 2.
- In the verses preceding Acts 2:38, the Trinity is proclaimed several times.
- And again, this is the word of God. How do the false preachers get past all of this?
This just comes to show you that they are blind. They cannot see the words. They will not hear them.
- Please turn to Acts Chapter 2. Acts Chapter 2.
- We know that Pentecostals and Modalists have a works based salvation.
- They love Acts 2:38 because they think it says to repent of your sins and be baptized in water to be saved.
- But they don’t even believe that because they must continue to be good the rest of their life.
- The truth is that they don’t even have a drop of goodness within them.
- They haven’t believed in Jesus Christ, and they have no idea what it means to believe in Him.
You can ask them: “Does repenting of sin and getting baptized in water save you?”
- They will say, YES, but they don’t even believe what they proclaim to believe.
- They will say you must keep repenting of every sin the rest of your life.
- They believe you can lose salvation and then get it back. They believe all these lies.
You can say, “I thought you said repenting of sin and getting baptized in water saves you.”
- But that’s not what they meant. You have to speak in babble, what they call tongues.
- You have to love a good life. You have to go to their devil churches.
- You have to do all these evil works that they call good. They have a long list.
They can’t even study tongues in the Bible and figure out that it’s language with structure.
- It’s not babble. They can’t understood one word in Acts Chapter 2.
- They think Jesus Christ is God the Father. They think Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit.
- They think only God the Father existed in the Old Testament.
They think only Jesus Christ existed at His first coming.
- They think only the Holy Spirit exists right now. They deny the one true God.
- Let’s start in verse 29 of Acts Chapter 2.
Acts 2:29-30 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
- The answer to the question Jesus asked the Pharisees is right there in verse 30.
- King David knew that God, according to the flesh, would raise up Christ to sit on his throne.
- Jesus is the Son of God, EQUAL WITH GOD, who came in the flesh as a man and as God Himself.
- God would raise up Christ. There’s 2 people there. God and Christ.
Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
- Modalists can’t believe this Scripture. THEY CAN’T. This would mean God was dead.
- Jesus Christ was dead, but the Oneness Pentecostals and Modalists believe there’s only one person in God.
- They don’t believe there are 3 that bear record in heaven.
- They attack the King James Bible as the word of God which they use in their churches.
There is no way in hell that this Scripture in verse 31 could be true if Jesus is the only person in God.
- We know that God is immortal. We know that Jesus Christ was dead. We know Jesus is God.
- How can these things be? I will tell you why. Because God said so. And I believe what He says.
- “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.”
- But you get these extremely smart, self-proclaimed intelligence, that will figure it all out.
- They will change God’s words, such as Acts 2:31, and make up their own oneness false religion.
There are 3 persons in one God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God.
- The Bible clearly says that His soul was not left in hell. HIS SOUL WENT TO HELL.
- But did God the Father go to hell? No. Did the Holy Spirit go to hell? No.
- Was God dead? No. Was Jesus Christ dead? Yes. THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS. Truth.
- If Jesus was the only one in existence, as God, there’s no way He could have been dead in hell.
- This means there would be no living God for the 3 days and 3 nights Jesus was in hell.
Matthew 12:40, straight from the mouth of Jesus, says: “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
- That’s hell. Explain that one Modalists and Oneness Pentecostals. IT’S IN ACTS CHAPTER 2.
- You proclaim to love this chapter in the Bible. You proclaim to read it over and over again.
- You proclaim to be experts on Acts Chapter 2, but you actually understand nothing.
And we can show you these things, and instead of changing your mind, your feet take hold in death.
- Proverbs 5:5 says: “Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.”
- Do you want to go to hell, Oneness Pentecostals? Do you want to go to hell, Modalists?
- You’re headed there right now. Understand that you better change your mind today.
- The fact that the soul of Jesus went to hell proves the Trinity that you deny out there.
- The trinity continues to show up in Acts Chapter 2. Look at verse 32 in Acts Chapter 2.
Acts 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
- Did you miss that verse too? GOD RAISED UP JESUS.
- This Jesus, the right hand man of God, was raised up by God. IS the Bible lying to us, Modalists?
- No, God doesn’t lie. He cannot lie. YOU ARE THE LIARS. Look at verse 33.
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
- Did you miss that one too?
- Let me repeat some things since Oneness believers are dull of hearing.
- Their heat is waxed GROSS. Their eyes have closed. Hey, I hope they will be converted today.
- You proclaim to love Acts Chapter 2, you Modalists. Do you not see all these things?
“Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted.” Now, oneness believers, read it again and again.
- If you can’t understand, keep repeating that and believe what God says in HIS WORDS.
- “Therefore being by the RIGHT HAND of God exalted.” God the Father has hands.
- Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father.
- “And having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost.” TRINITY.
- Jesus Christ received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost. ALL THREE THERE.
Three persons in one God. What will it take to believe that? You try to get rid of 1 John 5:7.
- What will you do with the baptism of Jesus? What will you do with all the words of God?
- Jesus says, “I AM NOT ALONE BECAUSE THE FATHER IS WITH ME.” He is with Jesus Christ.
- Just as I am here WITH YOU today. We are not the same people. I have a right hand.
- You have a right hand. Look at verse 34 in Acts Chapter 2.
Acts 2:34-36 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
- Again, the Bible repeats: “The LORD (in capitals) said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand.”
- But the foolish oneness Pentecostals continue just as the wicked Pharisees and scribes.
- They proclaim, “There’s only ONE THRONE. There can only be ONE PERSON.” ONE, ONE, ONE.
- Hey, we believe there is ONE GOD in THREE PERSONS. Why?
Because the Bible teaches this everywhere. “God hath made this same Jesus both Lord and Christ.”
- One throne, one throne, one throne. Clearly there is a Father and a Son in the Bible.
- Clearly they exist at the same time. A voice from heaven, 5 TIMES IN THE BIBLE, says:
- “THIS IS MY BELOVED SON.” The Father says, “In whom I am well pleased.” The Father says:
- “HEAR HIM. HEAR YE HIM.” The Father tells us to listen to His Son. He says, “He’s right there.”
- “I am up here.” If you won’t believe God the Father, then you’ll never go to heaven, FOOLS.
The people in Acts Chapter 2 were sure different than these foolish oneness Pentecostals.
- In verse 37 of Acts Chapter 2, these people were pricked in their heart.
- They realized they were wrong. I WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING. I realized I was wrong.
- I was never a oneness believer or a Modalist but I was taught a works based salvation.
- Hey, I was wrong. I believed foolish things. I WAS AN IDIOT. I WAS A FOOL.
But I wasn’t foolish enough to continue believing lies. I wasn’t foolish enough to reject the Gospel.
- When I heard it the first time, I said: “Hey, this might be right.”
- When I heard it the second time, I said, “I think this is right.”
- I went and got my wife who I love dearly. I said, “I think these preachers are right.”
- I listened again and again. I verified what I was hearing with my King James Bible.
I finally said, “I was wrong.” I am going to believe what the word of God says. My wife did too.
- I will not make God out to be a liar. I AM THE LIAR. I believe God. I believe in Jesus Christ.
- And then, in a moment, I was no longer a fool. Hey, Pentecostals out there, it’s time right now.
- STOP BEING A FOOL. Believe what God ACTUALLY says, and you won’t be a fool.
- Stop believing those Eglon like Pentecostal preachers. Very fat and lusty.
Please turn to Mark Chapter 12. You were in Acts. Flip backwards to the Gospel of Mark.
- Look to Mark Chapter 12. Mark Chapter 12.
- The other Gospels also give this same story that we’ve already seen.
- The LORD said to my Lord. We see even more witnesses within the Bible saying the same things.
Mark 12:35-37 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David? 36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 37 David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.
- Again, the COMMON PEOPLE heard him gladly. We saw before that the Pharisees didn’t.
- We hear Jesus Christ gladly. He’s teaching the Trinity. He says to beware of the scribes.
- Beware of the Pharisees right after this. THEY INGORE THE WORD OF GOD.
- In Luke Chapter 20, Jesus says: “And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand.”
There are 2 Lord’s there. The LORD said unto MY LORD. God the Father and Jesus Christ.
- Please turn to Psalm Chapter 80. Psalm Chapter 80.
- The Trinity, ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS, is everywhere throughout the Bible.
- It would take days to give sermons with all the Scriptures from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22.
- But, remember, we’re looking at the Trinity regarding Jesus as the right hand Man of God.
- Look at verse 14 through 19. You’ll see Jesus Christ in these Scriptures in many ways.
Psalm 80:14-19 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine; 15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. 16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. 17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. 18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. 19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
- Verse 17, again, says “Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.”
- THE MAN OF THY RIGHT HAND, UPON THE SON OF MAN.
- Jesus is called THE BRANCH in the Bible.
God says, “I will bring forth my servant THE BRANCH,” in all capitals.
- He is called THE VINE. We know that Jesus Christ is a different person than the Father.
- He sits on the right hand of the majesty on high.
- Psalm 16:11 says, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
- Again, “at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” UNDERSTAND THAT.
We’re only saved through the Son of God, Jesus Christ. With His Father, though, we couldn’t be saved.
- Without the Holy Spirit, we couldn’t be saved. THEY ARE ONE GOD AND THE ETERNAL GOD.
- But, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, by God’s profession to us, IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.
- We may believe on the name of “THE” right hand man of God, Jesus Christ. He is rock solid.
Psalm 17:7 says, “Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest BY THY RIGHT HAND them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.”
- I just want you to notice the right hand of God within all these Scriptures.
- Jesus Christ is at the right hand of His Father. HIS FATHER TRUSTS HIM WITH EVERYTHING.
- There is no better right hand man than the Lord Jesus Christ.
- There are many more Scriptures in the Book of Psalms that go over this same thing.
- Please turn to Psalm Chapter 110 while I read to you from many different Psalms.
Psalm 18:35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Psalm 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Psalm 44:3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Psalm 45:4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Psalm 48:10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
Psalm 60:5 That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.
Psalm 63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Psalm 89:13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
Psalm 98:1 A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory
- And listen Jesus Christ is God’s right hand man that UPHOLDS US. We are in Jesus Christ.
- THANK GOD!!! Praise God!!! Look at verse 5 in Psalm Chapter 110.
- And I want you to take a really close look at that verse.
Psalm 110:5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
- This speaks of Jesus Christ. HE WILL HAVE A DAY OF WRATH. Jesus has wrath.
- Please flip over to Psalm Chapter 138. Psalm Chapter 138.
- There is a Lord at the right hand of the Father and His name is Jesus Christ.
- Look at verse 7 there in Psalm Chapter 138.
Psalm 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
- The right hand shall save me. Jesus is at the right hand, and He saves us.
- Psalm 139:10 says: “Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”
- You all know John Chapter 10 about being in the hand of Jesus Christ.
- “THY RIGHT HAND SHALL HOLD ME.”
- John 10:28-29 says: “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
In Isaiah Chapter 41 verse 10, the Bible says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
- God made Jesus Christ to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- Please turn to Matthew Chapter 26. Matthew Chapter 26.
- Jesus Christ upholds us with His righteousness. He keeps eternal life for us.
Isaiah 48:13 says: “Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.”
- We know that all things were created through Jesus Christ, the right hand man of God.
- Because Jesus Christ is on the right hand of God the Father, we know there are more than one person in God.
- Jesus has His own will. He is a separate person from God the Father. He is the Son of the Father.
- Look at verse 63 there in Matthew Chapter 26.
Matthew 26:63-65 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
- Who spoke the blasphemy? It wasn’t Jesus Christ. He told them the truth. HE IS GOD.
- Modalists speak the blasphemy against the true God today. Jesus sits on the right hand of power.
- HE IS NOT GOD THE FATHER. Again, Jesus Christ is not God the Father.
- He is not the Holy Spirit. He is the Son of God. Please turn to Acts Chapter 7. Acts Chapter 7.
Mark 16:19 says: “So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
- Luke 22:69 says: “Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.”
- Look at verse 55 in Acts Chapter 7. Take a look there.
Acts 7:55-56 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
- It blows my mind that people will still believe that Jesus is God the Father.
- How many Scriptures just about the RIGHT HAND OF GOD teach the opposite?
- How many will it take? It should take only one of these to change your mind.
- Please turn to Hebrews Chapter 1. I will read a Scripture or two while you turn there.
Romans 8:34 says: “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
- In Ephesians Chapter 1, the Bible teaches that the Father, the God of Jesus Christ, set His Son at His own right hand in the heavenly places.”
- Colossians Chapter 3 verse 1 shows us that Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God.
- Look at verse 3 in Hebrews Chapter 1. Verse 3.
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
- He, ON HIS OWN, or HIS OWN SELF, purged our sins. The Son of God purged our sins.
- He then sat down on the right hand of God the Father, the majesty on high.
- In verse 8 of Hebrews Chapter 1, the Father calls Jesus Christ GOD.
- “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever.”
- Verse 13 in the same chapter says, “Sit on my right hand.”
- God the Son sits on the right hand of His Father. Makes perfect sense with the entire Bible.
In Hebrews Chapter 8, we see the high priest Jesus Christ who is set at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens.
- Hebrews 10:12 says: “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”
- Hebrews 12:2 says: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
- 1 Peter 3:22 says: “Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”
I want to go over one more thing as we close this out today. Please turn to Revelation Chapter 5.
- The Modalists and Oneness Pentecostals will say that there’s only one throne.
- They will say that Jesus sits on the one throne. “It’s only Jesus they say.”
- Remember, they don’t believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist at the same time.
- Revelation Chapter 5 disproves this false doctrine. Look at verse 1.
Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
- There is one sitting on the throne. In His right hand is a book sealed with seven seals.
- Look at verse 5, 6, and 7.
Revelation 5:5-7 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. 6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
- So, I gave many Scriptures today proving that Jesus is on the right hand of His Father.
- He is not God the Father. They are obviously not the same person. THEY ARE THE SAME GOD.
- There is one God in 3 persons.
- Jesus Christ takes the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne. TWO PEOPLE.
- Jesus has hands. His Father has hands. Different hands. Different people.
- Jesus is the right hand man. If you’re out there as a Modalist, don’t ignore the Scriptures.
Let’s pray.
