📖 Answer:
It’s just entertainment, right?
Wrong. Hollywood is one of the most powerful tools Satan uses to shape minds, destroy morals, and mock God.
Let’s break down why real Christians should think twice before hitting play.
1. Hollywood Glorifies Sin
📖 Romans 1:32 — “Who knowing the judgment of God… have pleasure in them that do them.”
Movies normalize everything God calls wicked:
- Fornication
- Adultery
- Homosexuality
- Rebellion
- Blasphemy
- Witchcraft
- Violence
- Profanity
The Bible says you’re guilty just for enjoying it.
2. It Programs You to Think Like the World
📖 1 John 2:15 — “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…”
Hollywood doesn’t reflect reality. It reprograms you to believe what they want:
- Good is evil
- Evil is good
- Sin is freedom
- Holiness is oppression
- Masculinity is toxic
- Christianity is bigotry
If you think you’re not being affected, you’re already deceived.
3. Hollywood Hates Jesus Christ
📖 John 15:18–19 — “The world hateth you… it hated me before it hated you.”
They use Jesus’ name as a curse.
They mock the Bible.
They blaspheme God.
They glamorize every sin He died to destroy.
And you’re paying them to do it.
4. The Devil Is the Producer
📖 Ephesians 2:2 — “…the prince of the power of the air…”
Satan runs the airwaves. He’s not just in porn and horror—he’s in PG and PG-13, too.
He desensitizes you slowly, scene by scene.
The devil doesn’t need to make you demonic—he just needs to make you lukewarm.
5. We Are Commanded to Guard Our Minds
📖 Philippians 4:8 — “…whatsoever things are pure… think on these things.”
📖 Psalm 101:3 — “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes…”
You can’t fill your mind with filth and expect to have the mind of Christ.
🎯 Bottom Line:
Christians shouldn’t watch Hollywood trash—not because we’re legalists, but because we’re loyal.
We don’t feed on sin—we flee from it.
We don’t entertain darkness—we expose it.
We don’t support blasphemy—we stand against it.
📖 Ephesians 5:11 — “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
