He recalls their youthful passion, the kindness shown in the wilderness, and the blessings of a plentiful land. Yet, they turned away, seeking satisfaction in the vain and the worthless. The priests failed to seek Him; the prophets preached lies. What drove them to such madness? Are we not guilty of the same folly today?
