[2] The title of the sermon today is “GENESIS CHAPTER 1.”

Genesis Means Origin Or The Formation Of Something New

• Please turn to Genesis Chapter 1.
• It should be very quick and easy to find the start of today’s sermon in your Bible.
• Genesis means origin or the formation of something new.
• Genesis is the first book of the Bible, and it starts out with some very famous words that we should all know.

[3] Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

• In the beginning, God already existed and is creating something.
• God is eternal, which means He has no beginning and no ending.
• Most of the so-called geniuses of this world’s history will admit that there has to be some type of eternal being for all of this to exist.
• They won’t admit that it’s the God of this Bible, but they will admit there is an eternal being.
• If not, nothing we see makes any sense because EVERYTHING can’t come from NOTHING.

The Bible tells us who created the heaven and the earth. It’s the Almighty GOD!!!

• Also notice that the Bible says “heaven” and doesn’t say “heavens” like all the corrupted bible versions.
• If you want to recognize a corrupted Bible version really quickly, just look at Genesis 1:1.
• The words already started changing right there in verse 1.
• The Bible refers to 3 different heavens (the sky, space outside the earth, and the 3^rd heaven which God resides in), but the heaven being talked about here in verse 1 is the heaven where God lives, the 3^rd heaven.
• And we’ll prove that here in a little bit but let’s keep reading in verse 2.

[4] Genesis 1:2-5 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

• So the earth was without form and void. Darkness was upon the face of the deep.
• God created light and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
• This is very important, and He’s doing that within all of His creation.
• He divides the righteous from the unrighteous. The light from the dark. God is a divider.

God called the light Day and the darkness He called night. So God is already creating the days.

• But pay attention that the earth is without form and void. It’s covered in water completely.
• There is no land at this point.
• On the 3^rd day, God causes all the waters to be gathered together into one place but not right now.
• So you have the earth without form, covered in water, no land, and we have the first day ALREADY.
• So God already has this cycle of days: light in the day and dark in the night.

Many Christians fall for this talk from these so-called EXPERTS that say these days were not just days and that these are extended periods of time.

• They will say things like: “There’s no way God could have created what He did in 6 literal days.”
• They say the creation account is not true in the Bible.
• We need to explain it some other way because that’s just CRAZY.
• No one will believe us or talk to us because they will say we’re crazy.

The Creation Account Is Literal 24 Hour Days

Many people might say will a day with the Lord is like a thousand years. Yes, 2 Peter 3:8 says this BUT guess what?

• There is no 1000 year sunrise and sunset. So God is talking about ONE LITERAL DAY right here.
• He’s telling us how long it took Him. He’s showing us HIS GREATNESS. He is God. He creates by speaking.
• Can we do that? No, we do not speak things into existence. If you can, I sure would like to see it.
• If there is ANY HUMAN in existence that can speak things into existence, please show me.

That would be like me standing here saying: Give us a new puppy for Callie, Taylor, and Emma.

• Puppy. Puppy. Look, there’s no puppy there.
• If there was, I would pass out and someone else would have to finish this sermon.
• God speaks things into existence no matter what these false preachers on TV tell you. We don’t.
• Notice again in verse 5 how it says the evening and the morning were the first day. Again, it’s ONE DAY.

Other unbelievers will say that science doesn’t match the Bible so they try to make the Bible match up with Science.

• To me, that’s hilarious. You see: God created all things and that includes science. He is the eternal God.
• What He says is what happens. Do you understand that?
• We don’t make God match our views and our creation. That’s US creating OUR OWN god who is fake.
• So let’s see: Let’s say the Bible actually contradicts some science that some so-called expert finds.
• Guess what? I’m going with the Bible 100% of the time. The Bible doesn’t fail.
• Science and beliefs of man fail. God’s words don’t fail.

Definition of science = study of facts and truths.

• Much of what is called science today isn’t science.
• If science is the study of facts and truths, then Bible study is science because the Bible is FACT AND TRUTH.
• If we come up with some theory like evolution with no proof, then it isn’t science.
• We know evolution is false because it’s not what the Bible says and there is no evidence of evolution AT ALL.

Worldly Science Is Constantly Changing Meaning It’s Not TRUE SCIENCE

The science of the world is constantly changing. How is that truth?

• They say: “Oh, well, we were wrong and now here’s the new truth and this is fact.”
• Oh yeah, until a few years from now or sooner when it changes again. It’s all lies. The Bible is truth.
• You see: every generation gets science wrong.
• They were wrong 1000 years ago, 100 years ago, 10 years ago, and they’re wrong now.
• If science contradicts the Bible, it’s wrong.

But guess what, the Bible never contradicts true science.

• Everything makes perfect sense when you actually read the Bible.
• There are so many people who tell others that the Bible says this and this, but never even read the actual Bible. It’s amazing.
• For example, I was told that if I believe what the Bible says that I should know the earth is flat.

The Bible NEVER says the earth is flat but people will say that the Bible says this.

• Show me the verse or verses. There are none.
• You have people telling others what the Bible says and it doesn’t say that.
• When people tell you the Bible says something, ask them to show you.
• Don’t just take their word for it because it’s wrong most of the time.
• Let’s continue in verse 6.

[5] Genesis 1:6-8 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

• Let’s talk about the firmament that’s mentioned in these verses.
• There’s a lot of false teaching about the firmament and what it is.
• Some people say this firmament was there before the great flood and then it’s not there now.
• This is all nonsense. The firmament is something that we still have here today.

[6] Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

• Look, the Bible says that the firmament SHOWETH His handywork. That’s present tense.
• It doesn’t say that the firmament used to show his handywork. It’s being shown right now.
• Psalms was written after the flood.
• People make up all these false theories that don’t agree with the Bible.
• This isn’t science like some people call it.

[7] Psalm 148:4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

• Do you see this right here? The Bible says that there are waters that be above the heavens.
• Let’s go back to Genesis 1 verses 7 and 8 and compare it to Psalm 148:4.
• I’ll leave Psalms on the screen here.

You look at Genesis 1 verse 7 and 8 in your Bible.

• They say: “God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven.”
• So there’s a firmament called heaven and there’s water above and below the firmament.
• Psalms 148 matches what Genesis says.
• Jump down to verse 20 in Genesis Chapter 1 there.

[8] Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

• Look closely there. It’s saying that birds are flying in the open firmament of heaven.
• Is that what it says there? Fowl are flying above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
• People will say that the firmament is a solid dome. The Bible proves that wrong immediately.
• The firmament is an area where birds fly. If that’s true like the Bible says, what’s the firmament?

The Firmament Equals The Sky Where Birds Fly

It’s the sky. It’s the area directly above the ground. We’re in it right now.

• When we step outside, do birds fly in the area we’re standing? Yes. This is the firmament.
• There’s water in this area around us right now. There’s moisture in the air.
• There’s a difference between the water that’s on the ground, in the ocean, in lakes, in rivers AND the water that’s in the firmament or the sky.
• Now, I want to go to Genesis 1 verses 14 and 15.
• We need to understand the firmament and the heavens so we’re going to spend some time learning this today.

[9] Genesis 1:14-15 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

• The Bible is talking about the sun, moon, and stars in these verses. The next couple of verses tell us that.
• So, the firmament is also out there in space and that is also called heaven.
• This might be a little confusing to you right now, but it’s easy once you understand that there are 3 heavens.
• Let me show you what the Bible says.
• Understand that Genesis Chapter 1 calls the firmament heaven multiple times.

[10] 2 Corinthians 12:1-4 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

• The Bible says right there that this man was caught up into the THIRD HEAVEN and then calls the THIRD HEAVEN paradise.
• Paradise is the 3^rd heaven where God is located. How do we know that?
• We look to the Bible in Revelation Chapter 2, which we just studied a week or two ago. Listen to this.

[11] Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

• In 2 Corinthians Chapter 12, it also says that this man that was caught up into paradise heard unspeakable words.
• This is God speaking because this is the paradise, the 3^rd heaven, where God is located.
• Therefore, if you have a third heaven, you MUST have a first and a second heaven, right?
• You don’t have a 3^rd heaven without a first and a second.
• If you only have one child, you wouldn’t say: “Hey, this is my 3^rd child.”
• Well, where’s your first two? “Oh, we don’t have any others. This is our 3^rd child.”
• You’d say: “Okay, and walk away slowly.”

There Are Three Heavens According To The Bible

The first heaven is the sky where the birds fly.

• The second heaven is outer space where the sun, moon, and stars are located.
• The third heaven is the heaven where God lives in paradise.
• Now, go back to Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1.

[12] Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

• Which heaven is the Bible talking about right here? How do we know for sure?
• The Bible MUST be talking about the 3^rd heaven and not the sky or outer space.
• Look to verse 6 and 7 again.

[13] Genesis 1:6-7 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

• Look, the firmament was created on the second day.
• So the sky and space were not there in the beginning because they were created on the second day.
• Do you see how simple that is to understand?

So verse 1 of the entire Bible is saying in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

• The heavens, plural, were not there in the beginning.
• There are 3 heavens and 2 of them were not there in the beginning.
• God’s heaven was created in the beginning by God along with the earth.
• This once again proves that the corrupted bible versions like the New King James, NASB, NIV, RSV, ESV are all wrong.
• They are corrupted and the corruption starts out in the very first verse.
• They make no sense and are very confusing once you start studying the bible.
• We don’t need this confusion and corruption.
• Once again, the King James Bible shows that it’s the word of God.

Look, it’s very important to understand verse 1 because it’s the opening verse in all of the Bible.

• It’s clearly talking about the 3^rd heaven because the others were created later and it’s singular here.
• There’s more to all of these verses than you might think or know, and every word is very important.

[14] Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

• God starts out in verse 1 with creating the heaven and the earth.
• Then He says in verse 2 that the earth was without form and void.
• Did He say that both the heaven and the earth were without form and void?
• No, He said He created the heaven and the earth and the earth was without form and void.
• Now, let’s look at Genesis 2 verse 4.

[15] Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

• So here we’re talking about all of creation.
• In Chapter 2 verse 1 it says “thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.”
• The King James Bible knows how to make heaven singular and plural.
• There is no “S” at the end of heaven in Genesis 1:1 and there is in Chapter 2 because creation of all the heavens was finished after Genesis 1:1.
• I want to show you something in Genesis 2 verses 4 and 5.

[16] Genesis 2:4-5 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

• Pay attention to where it says “And every plant of the field BEFORE it was in the earth.”
• So God created every plant of the field BEFORE it was in the earth. What does this mean?
• Before they were in the earth? So plants were created before they were here on Earth.
• Is that what it says? Sure looks like that to me.

The Third Heaven Is Paradise And God Lives There

Think of all of the creation in the 3^rd heaven of paradise.

• Listen, we all have thought of heaven as some imaginary place, BUT listen to this today.
• Heaven is a real and literal place. It’s an amazing place.
• We think of it as some spiritual world where people just float around.
• But, it’s a physical place just like we’re here right now.

In Revelation when John is caught up to heaven in the spirit, we’re told there are angels, beasts, plants, gold, trees, a throne, rainbows, places to sit, lamps of fire, other people, clothing, a very important book, Jesus Himself, God the Father, singing of songs, praise and worship, thunder, lightning, a sea of glass, eating, drinking, and more.

• This isn’t a fairy tale. It’s a physical place just like we have here. It’s out there my friends.
• It’s the 3^rd heaven. Remember, God created a paradise here on Earth with the Garden of Eden and it was like the paradise in the 3^rd heaven.
• Remember what the garden of Eden was like. Heaven is the same way. There’s life there.
• Trees, rivers, water, gold, food, drink, and more.
• In the future when there’s a new heaven and a new earth, the heavenly city of Jerusalem will descend out of heaven from paradise in the 3^rd heaven.

[17] Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

• That city of New Jerusalem is already there in heaven and already built.
• Look, heaven is more than we can imagine and it’s somewhere you want to go when you die.

[18] John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

• Jesus is talking about a physical place just like here but heaven will be an amazing place because God will be there.
• You won’t have to worry about someone stealing your bicycle when you leave it out by the street or having enough money to pay your bills.

The 3^rd heaven is a physical place and the plants were already created there before they were placed into the earth.

• So remember the earth was without form and void in the beginning.
• This simply means that the earth is empty.
• The waters and the sky were also empty because later God fills the water and the sky with life.
• He fills them with fishes and birds and other life. We’ll see this as we continue going through Genesis Chapter 1.

The Bible Is The Evidence That God Exists

People want evidence of God. Here’s the evidence: this Bible right here is the evidence.

• Everything you’ll find within this Bible matches exactly with creation because it’s the truth.
• The evidence is right before your eyes.
• You see: the Bible already said in Isaiah 40 that the earth is round long before science made the discovery.
• The Bible says in Job Chapter 26 that the earth is hanging on nothing.
• The Jewish Antichrist encyclopedia says the earth is sitting on pillars or some nonsense like that.
• They make up their own stories and ignore the words of the Bible.

Every discovery made by man is already given in the Bible.

• If you look around at everything we know and can see, the Bible matches it perfectly.
• What more proof does anyone need that this is the truth?
• Some so-called expert scientist might say: “Well, God couldn’t have possibly made everything we see in 6 days because I am the smartest person on the earth and I am above the word of God. Can’t you see? Look how smart I am. I have 27 advanced degrees from the greatest schools on earth. I know better than God.”
• You see: that’s an opinion and that’s what we get from the world today.
• We get pure trash from this world.
• We get fools professing themselves to be wise just as Romans Chapter 1 states.

Listen to this: When “scientists” make discoveries and say they say some fossil is ONE MILLION years old, that’s not the truth.

• Ask them how they calculated the age to be ONE MILLION years old.
• They’ll use some tool, but within that tool they estimate the age of the earth to be some value like ONE BILLION years old.
• They’ll say: “Well, we know the earth to be about ONE BILLION years old so this fossil is ONE MILLION years old.”
• The truth is: They don’t know. They make it all up.
• And if any one of those scientists would wake up and tell the truth, they would tell you that.
• But instead, all these students and professors and other so-called “smart” people continue to just take in the lies until it becomes truth to them.
• They have no evidence of any of their science.

Many of the false doctrines and teachings that you’ll get come from Reference Bibles and Study Bibles.

• For example, the Scofield Reference Bible will tell you to go and read these verses after Genesis 1:1 and then come back to Genesis 1:2.
• This is where the false gap theory comes from.
• The gap theory says there is a big period of gaps between the days of creation.
• The so-called scientists found that the earth was much older then 6,000 years so the so-called Bible believers made up some theory that would match with science.
• Again, you don’t change the Bible to match science. True science matches the Bible.

But again, this is why you don’t want to read study bibles or reference bibles because man is injecting their ideas and theories into the Bible.

• We don’t need that. Just a Bible with the exact text is all we need.
• This is what God gave us and that’s all we need.
• There is no gap in God creating the heaven and the earth and all that is in them.
• God made the heaven, the earth, the firmament, the sky, outer space, the animals, man, woman, plants, and all of creation including what’s in heaven in 6 days.
• Don’t believe me? Listen to this verse.

[19] Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

• If you believe what the Bible says, then you won’t believe in some man-made gap theory that was invented in the 1700 and 1800’s to match with so-called science discoveries showing that the earth is much older than what the Bible says.
• You see: Exodus 20:11 is the end of the gap theory.
• If you still believe the gap theory after reading that, then you aren’t hearing the word of God.

Could God Have Made Everything In Six Days?

Could God have possibly made everything in 6 days? Well, yeah, He’s the Almighty God.

• Scientists will laugh at that but they’re the same ones that say everything exploded out of nothing and life was created by rocks banging into each other.
• I find it hilarious that people can believe that life forms from 2 rocks hitting each other.
• Can you imagine people out there doing experiments and banging rocks together and waiting for life to appear?
• These are the same “SMART” people that laugh at the Bible.
• Well, that didn’t work so let’s speed them up and hit them harder!!! Then life will come out.
• Whose laughing now? Seriously. Do you know what comes from rocks smashing together?
• A collision and then most likely broken rocks in smaller pieces of rocks. That’s what you get.

You see: the Bible tells us that life produces after its own kind. Humans come from humans.

• Dogs come from dogs. Monkeys come from monkeys. Fish come from fish. Birds come from birds.
• It’s pretty obvious when you look around that the Bible is correct.
• But the people who simply hate God won’t admit that there’s a Creator out there who first created life as we see it today.
• They’ll come up with some different looking fossils and say “See, look how different this jaw bone is that we have here.”
• Do you know how different people are today?

There’s a HUGE variety and differences in what people look like. There’s tiny people. There’s huge people.

• It doesn’t mean they are in some different form of evolution. This is crazy talk.
• So far in Genesis Chapter 1, we’ve seen God create the heaven and the earth. He created light.
• He divided the light from the darkness. And He created the first day.
• Then in Day 2, we see God create a firmament which He called heaven.
• The firmament divided the waters above and below the firmament.
• So we’re heading to Day 3. Go to verse 9 in Genesis Chapter 1.

[20] Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

• Pay attention to where it says God gathered the waters under the heaven unto one place, and He called this gathering together of the waters into ONE PLACE the Seas.
• He also says to let the dry land appear and God called that dry land Earth.

[21] Genesis 1:11-13 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

• Did the grass, seed, and fruit trees already exist?
• Yes they did, and God is placing them upon the Earth in these verses. So this was the third day.
• Now we see the earth taking shape as we see it today.
• There’s dry land, there’s bodies of water, there’s grass, herbs, and trees.
• Moving onto verse 14. We’re going to see what happens in Day 4 of creation.

[22] Genesis 1:14-15 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

• So there were already days and nights, right?
• Genesis 1:5 tells us God called the light day and the darkness He called night.
• But now in verse 14 and 15 God is adding lights in the second heaven to divide the day from the night.
• He says let those lights be used for signs, for seasons, for days, for years.
• He says let them give light upon the Earth.
• Moving to verse 16.

[23] Genesis 1:16-19 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

• So the sun, moon, and stars don’t come until Day 4 of creation. So how did God see to do anything?
• Where was the light? The Bible ENDS just how it started.
• In the end, the sun and moon are not needed for their light. The Bible says we have no need of light.
• Why do we have no need of light in the end?

[24] Revelation 21:22-23 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

• The Glory of God lightens everything! God didn’t need light in the beginning because He is the light.

[25] 1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

• God says that the lights He made determine the days, seasons, and years.
• If our man-made year doesn’t match with the sun, then we’re wrong. We have 365 days in a year.
• But a year isn’t exactly 365 days and this is why we have a leap year every 4 years.
• This is because there are more than exactly 365, 24-hour days in a year.
• So every 4 years we add a day to correct.

Do we have our days and years exactly correct? No. But we have them pretty close.

• We also have leap seconds because our clocks aren’t perfect.
• I have to account for leap seconds when I do data analysis for my job.
• I have to get all the time bases correct between different sources or the data doesn’t align.
• But know that God’s time is always correct.
• He set the lights in the heaven to give us signs, times, seasons, days, and years.

The Two Great Lights That God Created

The two great lights are the sun to rule the day and the moon to rule the night.

• The moon is a greater light than the stars and this is obvious to us all.
• Again, the Bible matches perfectly with everything we can see.
• So Day 4 is finished with the creation of the sun, moon, stars which give us days, night, time, seasons, years.
• Now everything is really starting to look like what we have today.
• Now, let’s move to Day 5 of creation starting in verse 20 there.

[26] Genesis 1:20-21 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

• So God said to let the water bring forth ABUNDANTLY the moving creature with life.
• He brings forth fowl or birds that fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
• He creates great whales and every living creature that moves! Wow, that’s a lot of creatures.
• If they move, God created them right here on Day 5. The waters brought them forth.
• So all fishes of the sea, all sea creatures, and all birds were created on Day 5.

[27] Genesis 1:22-23 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

• So God blessed the living creatures of the seas and the fowl of the sky.
• Let’s move onto Day 6 of creation.

[28] Genesis 1:24-25 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

• So God SAID: “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind.” Cattle, creeping thing, and beast all after their own kind were produced.
• God made them it says here. And God saw that it was good.
• Let’s continue in verse 26.

[29] Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

• Look there in verse 26 at the beginning. Pay close attention there.
• It says: “Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.”
• Why is that plural if there’s only ONE TRUE GOD?
• It says: “Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.”
• It doesn’t say: “Let ME make man in MY image after MY likeness.”

This is a verse that proves God is more than one individual.

• God is 3 in one as we learn from reading and studying the whole Bible as a whole and not ignoring or getting rid of ANY verses or words in the Bible.
• Take the Bible as a whole, understand there are no mistakes in the King James Bible, and you’ll see that God is 3 in one.
• There is God the Father, the Son of God Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. These 3 are one.

God Is A Plural God With Three Persons In One God

Notice that verse 26 starts out by saying God said, which is singular God said.

• And then it shows God as plural directly after that in the same verse.
• People who won’t believe in the Trinity or a triune God or a 3 in 1 God try to explain this verse away.
• They will say that God is speaking to His angels or others who are with Him in heaven.
• Man isn’t made in the image of angels. Angels are much different than us.
• The Bible proves this, but that’s a whole different sermon.
• Those people will say God isn’t three in one. They will say verses like this are a mistake in the Bible:

[30] 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

• They will say that this was never intended to be in the Bible even though there’s proof this was in the Bible from the beginning of the Bible.
• They will say: “Well, this doesn’t match my religion so it cannot be true. Therefore, it must be false because I was taught different at MY CHURCH and MY CHURCH is the greatest.”
• No, you know whose the greatest? GOD IS THE GREATEST.
• This church isn’t, your church isn’t, I’m not, you’re not. GOD IS THE GREATEST.

Jehovah’s Witness, Mormons, Oneness Pentecostals, and more so-called “Christian” denominations don’t believe that God is 3 in 1.

• God is a triune God.
• Believe what the Bible says or DON’T.
• So many Christians today have fallen for the false teaching that there is no perfect bible so use whatever you want and make up whatever rules that you want.
• Their churches will help them by making up the rules for them. That’s we have in this world today.
• Listen to this verse in which Jesus, the SON OF GOD, is speaking to His Father:

[31] John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

• Jesus is the eternal Son of God.
• He has ALWAYS been there WITH God the Father and WITH the Holy Spirit.
• Why is God 3 in 1? Jesus Himself says this in John Chapter 5.

[32] John 5:31-32 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. 32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

• If there’s only ONE GOD IN ONE PERSON, then this verse straight from Jesus is false. Is it not?
• Let’s look at another just to drive this point home. This is Jesus right here in this verse.

[33] Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

• Look, Jesus has a different will than the Father. Jesus is a separate individual obviously.
• But Jesus says here: “Not as I will, but as THOU WILT.”
• Listen, the Bible clearly teaches us that Jesus was with God in the beginning and that we are made in His image.
• Genesis 1 verse 26 is clearly talking about Jesus being with God as Jesus is the Creator with God:

[34] John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

• If Jesus was the ONLY ONE, then the verses in John Chapter 1 would make no sense.
• You could just take out parts of the verse.
• You’d have to remove “AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD” and make that verse say: “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.”
• But that’s not what it says: “It says the Word was WITH GOD.”
• And then verse 2 right there SAYS IT AGAIN!!!

All Things Were Made By The Word Of God

Then verse 3 tells us that all things were made by Him and without Him was not any thing made.

• Jesus was there with God when they created MAN! Do you see that?
• Listen, there aren’t 3 gods!
• There is one true God who exists as GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.
• I didn’t make this up. This is what the Bible says throughout. Cover to cover.
• Each are eternal and each have individual wills but they ALWAYS submit to GOD THE FATHER in all ways at all times.
• Each is GOD and together are GOD.

[35] John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

• Jesus is saying He is of God and HE HAS SEEN THE FATHER.
• He is not the Father, but He has seen the Father. Jesus is God and He has seen God the Father.
• Jesus was not created by God the Father. Jesus has always existed.

[36] John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

• Is that not clear enough? There is one true God.
• The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one but how many did I list there. That’s right THREE.
• Just like the Bible says there are 3 that bear record in heaven. There are 3 witnesses in heaven.
• With all of that said, let’s go back to Genesis 1 verse 26 and see how much sense it makes with the singular God and the plural US and OUR.

[37] Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

• God gave man dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, over the cattle, over every creeping thing, and over all the earth.
• God has given us dominion over the earth, and that’s pretty clear today.
• We are dominating over the animals, or have dominion over the animals.
• We use them for food, for clothing, to help us with work, and more.

[38] Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

• God Himself killed an animal there to make coats of skins to clothe Adam and Eve.
• An animal had to be sacrificed right there to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve due to their sin.
• God showed them how to make real clothes after they had tried to make clothing out of fig leaves.
• That didn’t work too well. God said: “This is how you make real clothing.” He used an animal to do so.
• We have dominion over the animals.

We Have Dominion Over The Animals So It’s Okay To Use Them

God says that it’s okay to kill animals for food, for clothing, to use them for work.

• He doesn’t say to make animals your Lord, to serve the animals, to feel sorry if a dog is outside in the rain, to feel bad if a horse is in -20 degree weather outside in the winter, to spend all your money on your pets, to let animals take over your life.
• God says the opposite of all that.
• God created the animals for us. He did NOT create US for the animals.
• And that may sound silly to some of you, but this isn’t a joke. Animals are taking over this country.
• Take a look. At Whole Foods Grocery store, they let you decide at checkout if you want to give a donation to help children or a donation to help animals.

This alone is ridiculous, but you want to know what’s more ridiculous than even having that option?

• It’s the people who choose the animal donation over the children donation.
• So, who are these people who choose to give to animals more than children?
• I just looked up some information on this and have no idea if it’s correct, but what I found is that women are more likely to choose animals to donate to and men are more likely to choose humans.
• Conclude from that whatever you like.

Pets today are seen as family members. They aren’t seen as pets any more. They are seen as our peers.

• This isn’t a joke. When people are asked if they would choose their neighbor or their pet to save in a burning house, they mostly choose their pet.
• This is sad, and it’s getting worse.
• Listen, you can love your pet but don’t put an animal over a human life EVER.
• They are called animals for a reason.
• People in other countries actually worship animals. Looks like we’re slowly heading in that direction.
• We’ll start putting up statues of dogs, and we’ll worship them right here in this country.

[39] Let’s watch a short video. Remember, this country is headed in this same direction.

Here’s a short list of some things we do for our dogs right now in this country.

1. People short on money will choose to purchase expensive medicine for their dogs versus feeding their children.
2. They will purchase greeting cards for their dogs and get greeting cards back from their dogs. No joke. At stores, you can fill out greeting cards from your pets that you send to yourself. Wow.
3. People say they are willing to go to hell for their dog. This is called worshipping your dog.
4. People will say their animals are their entire life. That they would do anything for their animals. This is not funny. This is serious sickness.
5. People brush their dog’s teeth every night. They pick the food out of their teeth. Amazing stuff. Read the Bible instead.

I’m sorry if I’ve mentioned anything you’ve done before BUT this needs to be said because YES, it does cause real problems and issues for many people.

• I’ve done silly things myself. We all have.
• Guess what? My dog is almost 15 yrs old and never had her teeth brushed.
• Never been treated like a human. Stays outside.
• And she is happy and healthy and lives like a dog should live.
• She is fulfilling her purpose as a dog and is a happy dog. We don’t worship her.
• She has the lowest priority in our life, and she is doing great.

Animals Should Not Be A Priority In Your Life

You might say: “Well, that’s so sad that she is last in your life.”

• If that’s what you’re thinking right now, you need to re-shape your priorities in your life my friend.
• We tell our dog what to do. The dog doesn’t tell us what to do.
• You might think that’s funny but people do what their dogs tell them to do.
• They will try to interpret what the dog is saying and do whatever the dog wants. AMAZING.

Here’s a quote from pet-lovers website:

• “Through the years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with some wonderful animals. So I’m only too happy to do whatever I can to make their lives a little more comfortable, a little easier and a lot more fun. It’s my way of celebrating them, honoring them and thanking them.”

[40] This same man bought his dog a new red golf cart that would be the dogs personal vehicle because the dog couldn’t walk any more and he wanted to make sure his dog got out to see the sights in his new red golf cart.

• People spend money on pet acne, bi-weekly trips to get allergy shots, and more. It’s absolutely amazing to me.
• That’s making your pets number one. Animals are number one to so many people in this world.
• It’s sickening. You might think it’s cute and adorable BUT it’s not. It’s sickening.
• If you put God first, you’ll realize how sickening that can be.

[41] Proverbs 30:30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;

• Do you know who can defeat the lion?
• The lion might be the strongest among beasts, but man can defeat the lion.

[42] 1 Samuel 17:34-36 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.

• Christian radio stations tell us David only killed Goliath so Goliath could go to heaven.
• Well, I guess here in these verses that David only killed the lion and the bear so they could go to heaven too.
• When you look for the predators of lions, you know what you find: there are no other animals that go after lions. None.
• The only predator of a lion is MAN.

God Should Be The Priority In Your Life

STOP giving animals any priority in your life. God gets the priority. He has that NUMBER ONE slot.

• It’s not your spouse, it’s not your children, it’s not your parents, it’s not your brothers and sisters, it’s not your grandparents, it’s not your job, it’s not your fun and entertainment, and it’s definitely NOT your pets.
• The priority is GOD and GOD alone.
• Let’s go back to Genesis 1 verse 27.

[43] Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

• So when the Bible talks about “man” it’s talking about male and female.
• So when I say “man” I am talking about all of us. And that’s not sexist because God does the same.
• God made male and female. If He was sexist, He would have just created males or just females.
• But He didn’t because BOTH are good. Understand that.
• Corrupted bible versions like the NIV, ESV, NASB, and so on have started removing the word “man” and replacing it with “human” or other words.
• They like to change God’s words into politically correct words. God doesn’t care about politics. He doesn’t play games.
• We are created in God’s image and He called us man, male and female.

[44] Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

• God blessed man, male AND female. Not just the male and not just the female.
• God didn’t say one was better than the other. Both are AMAZINGLY made and BOTH serve a purpose.
• God said to be fruitful and multiply. Do you know who can’t multiply?
• Males with males and females with females because it’s not natural.

Sodomites Cannot Be Fruitful And Multiply

If you’re homosexual, you’ve already broken God’s commandment right here, right after He created us.

• He says to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.
• If you’re a homosexual, you cannot multiply with your partner.
• You cannot create life.
• You’re already breaking God’s first commandment right after creation of male and female.
• If there were only homosexuals, there would be no human life.
• The first ones would die and no life would ever be produced.

[45] Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

• In the beginning of man’s creation, God is giving us every herb bearing seed and every tree to eat for meat.
• God calls food meat in His Bible.
• He hasn’t given us animals for food at this point in Genesis so this isn’t what’s meant by meat right here.

[46] Genesis 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

• So again, God is giving every green herb for meat to us and every beast of the earth and every bird of the air and every creeping thing.
• At this point in time, every living creature is eating herb bearing seed and fruit from trees.
• Anything that a tree produces is considered it’s fruit. For example, the fruit of a pecan tree is pecans.
• And we’ll finish up right here in verse 31 of Genesis Chapter 1.

[47] Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

• So we finish up here on the sixth day in Genesis Chapter 1.
• Remember, God says that everything He had made was VERY GOOD.
• God didn’t make things bad or evil. He made them all VERY GOOD.

His creation turned bad or evil afterwards. Like some of the angels, Satan, and man.

• They turned evil by their own decisions and choices. God didn’t make them that way.
• Look at God’s creation today. It’s AMAZING. Look at the animals of this Earth.
• That’s why it’s so much fun to go to the Zoo and look at all of the different animals.
• We see videos of animals that we’ve never seen before. They are amazing. Take a close look.
• You’ll understand and see the greatness of God.
• If you’re lucky enough to see a humming bird around your home, you’ll be amazed.

A Summary Of Genesis Chapter 1

To summarize:

• Day 1 = God created the heaven (3^rd heaven) and the earth and the waters. He created light.
• He divided the light from darkness and made the first day.
• Day 2 = God created a firmament that He called heaven. The firmament divided the waters.
• Day 3 = God gathered the waters under the heaven or sky unto one place. And He let the dry land appear.
• He called the dry land Earth and the gathering of the waters He called seas. He brought forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit trees. They all yielded seed after its kind.
• Day 4 = God made the sun, moon, and stars. He set them in the firmament or the second heaven to give light upon the earth. He gave them for days, signs, seasons, and years.
• Day 5 = God created moving creatures in the waters and fowl to fly in the open firmament of heaven. God created whales and every moving creature from the waters and every type of bird.
• Day 6 = God created the living creatures from the dry land of the Earth. God made beast, cattle, and creeping things.
• God created man, male and female (thank you God. And I thank you greatly for the females and especially the ones you’ve put in my life).
• God created us in HIS IMAGE. God tells us to multiply and replenish the Earth. God gave us food to eat for meat in this sixth day.

There’s the 6 days of creation. I want you to notice something that should jump out at you today.

• Notice that God calls each day of His creation good until He gets to day 6.
• He calls that VERY GOOD. God sees you today, and He sees His creation just as He saw in Day 6.
• He sees something that is VERY GOOD. Understand that today. Understand God is YOUR CREATOR.
• So you’ve learned about the 3 heavens today. We can see the first heaven.
• We’ve seen pictures of the second heaven. Listen to these verses and we’ll end right here.

[48] Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

[49] Psalm 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

• Everything God has made is GOOD and everything He does is GOOD.
• He is God, the Almighty Creator of all things.
• We can see His work, and you should thank God each and every day for His creation.
• Thank Him for holding it all together for us at all times.
