Which Bible Version Should You Use?

Today, I’m going to answer that question for you with a ranking of the current English Bible versions.

I’ll give you a top 10 ranking of all the Bible versions, and I am sure this list will surprise you.

Let’s get straight to it so you can go get the #1 ranked Bible and start reading and studying immediately.

Top 10 Ranking Of Bible Versions

The below top 10 ranking is not a typo:

#1 King James Version

#2 King James Version

#3 King James Version

#4 King James Version

#5 King James Version

#6 King James Version

#7 King James Version

#8 King James Version

#9 King James Version

#10 King James Version

You don’t need a different or new and exciting Bible version. The King James Bible is the word of God, and you won’t have trouble understanding the words after you read through the Bible a few times.

The other versions will confuse you because they contradict themselves over and over again.

I purposely call the King James Version (KJV) the King James Bible because there is no other English Bible.

The thee’s and thou’s are very important to the Bible, and that’s why they shouldn’t be taken away.

Let’s Rank the Rest of the Bible Versions

Not Ranked – New International Version (NIV)

Not Ranked – English Standard Version (ESV)

Not Ranked – New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

Not Ranked – Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

Not Ranked – New English Translation (NET)

Not Ranked – New King James Version (NKJV)

Not Ranked – New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Not Ranked – Common English Bible (CEB)

Not Ranked – New Living Translation (NLT)

Note: The New King James Version isn’t even close to the King James Bible so don’t fall for that lie.

None of the so-called Bible versions listed above deserve a ranking.

You Won’t Need A New Bible

It’s very easy. Just get a King James Bible, and you’ll be very happy with it the rest of your life. Things don’t change with the King James.

With all the others, you’ll need a new version. You’ll need a new Bible. You’ll need to pay more money!

The King James text is not copyrighted, and you can download it right here on this site for free: Bible Downloads.

Trust in God’s word. There are no mistakes in the King James Bible. There are clear errors within all the other versions. All the Bibles do not say and mean the same thing.

For a quick example, please see Psalm 10 verse 3.
