You Should’ve Been Done
If life were fair, you’d already be finished. The sin, the pride, the failures—by all accounts, you should’ve burned out by now. But you didn’t. Why?
Because God’s mercy stepped in. You woke up this morning still breathing not because you earned it—but because His compassions are new again today.
Mercy Is the Most Underrated Miracle
In Lamentations, Jeremiah is watching his nation crumble. Judgment has fallen. Destruction is everywhere. And yet, in the middle of mourning, he says: “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed.”
That’s not denial—that’s revelation. God’s mercy is greater than your worst day.
It’s not weakness—it’s His heart.
The God Who Doesn’t Give Up
We think mercy is God letting us off the hook. But it’s much more.
Mercy is God refusing to walk away.
It’s the Father running to the prodigal. It’s Jesus telling Peter, “Feed my sheep,” after betrayal. It’s another chance—again.
Lean Into the Mercy
Still beating yourself up? Still dragging shame from yesterday into today?
Let it go. Say it out loud: “Lord, thank You for mercy I didn’t earn and compassion I can’t exhaust.”
He’s not done with you. Not even close.
