Stop Praying for God to Remove What He’s Using to Refine You

Category: Grace & Grit (Monday)

This is FaithFuel Daily—hard truth for the hurting soul. One verse. One fire. Every day.

📖 Scripture of the Day

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…

🔥 God Didn’t Say “Yes”—Because He Loves You

Paul begged God three times to remove the thorn.
God said “No.”

Why?
Because some of God’s greatest work is done through the pain you want gone.

The thorn wasn’t punishment—it was power.
It kept Paul humble. It kept him prayerful.
It made room for God’s strength.

🧨 Stop Rebuking What God Is Using

Not every hardship is from the devil.
Sometimes the storm is surgery.
Sometimes the weight is a workout.

You’re asking God to cancel what He’s using to conform you to Christ.

Don’t pray it away. Pray through it.

🧱 Grace Doesn’t Mean Escape—It Means Endurance

God’s answer wasn’t “I’ll fix it.”
It was “I’ll fuel you.”

His grace is sufficient—not always soothing.
But it’ll carry you through every thorn, every fire, every trial.

🗣️ Say it:

“Lord, if You’re not going to take it away, help me carry it with purpose.”
