[2] The title of the sermon: “GOD’S LOVE AND HATE FOR PEOPLE.”

God’s Love For People And God’s Hate For People

  • I believe some people may misunderstand what I teach from the Bible about God’s love for people.
  • So, I want to explain the groups of people that God loves. He doesn’t love all people all the time.
  • But there are groups of people that He loves. And there is a group of people that He hates.
  • There are people that will always continue in God’s love.
  • And there are people who will always continue in God’s hate.

[3] John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  • I’ve been in churches that preach this verse as God loves everyone no matter what.
  • They will say that God’s love is ALWAYS unconditional.
  • They will teach that there is no condition to God’s love.
  • Is that what this verse is teaching? No, that is not what this verse is teaching.

“For God so LOVED the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

  • Is there a condition that is required in that verse to receive everlasting life? Yes.
  • You must believe on Jesus Christ to receive everlasting life from God.
  • If you will not believe on Jesus Christ, will you receive everlasting life? No.

[4] John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  • If you have believed on Jesus Christ, you are condemned.
  • If you will not believe on Jesus Christ, you are condemned already.

[5] John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

  • Believe on the Son of God, Jesus Christ, or don’t believe.
  • Continue in God’s love or don’t continue in God’s love.
  • There are several different groups of people that I want to talk about today.
  • Does God love this group of people? Or does God hate this group of people?
  • And I’m going over this so you understand the differences in God’s love for people.

We’re going over this so you know that God’s love is not ALWAYS unconditional as people are preaching today.

  • So, let’s go over the different groups of people, and I’ll let you see what you think.
  • Does God always love each of these groups of people?
  • Let’s talk about people who have already died first.

The Bible tells us that there are only two places that our souls can go.

  • Remember, we’ve been over this recently. All spirits or life returns to the Father in heaven.
  • This is simply the life that leaves you. When this happens, your body dies.
  • All bodies die and are buried, burned, or something else. But all of them return to the earth.
  • Spirits go back to God the Father who they came from. THE SOUL is the most important part.
  • Each person living has a body, a spirit, and a soul. Body returns to the earth. Spirit returns to God.
  • The soul, who you are, either goes to heaven or goes to hell.

Now, what do you think? Does God love the people who go to heaven?

  • These are the people who have believed on Jesus Christ just as the verse there says.
  • “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.” This means God loves these people.

[6] John 10:25-27 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

[7] John 10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one.

  • God gives eternal life unto this group of people before they die. This means He loves these people.
  • This means He will ALWAYS love these people.
  • Once you believe on Jesus Christ, you are always loved by God. You will continue in His love forever.

The Love of God Does Not Equal Getting Whatever You Want

But you must also understand that God’s love isn’t this same love taught by the world.

  • The world teaches that love is giving everyone what they want. This isn’t love.
  • God isn’t going to give you everything you want. Life isn’t going to be easy.
  • You are now a part of God’s family. You now are one of His children.

[8] Deuteronomy 8:5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

  • When you do wrong, He will punish you. He will chasten you. So be very careful to do what He says.
  • He’s keeping you on the right track. If bad things happen to you, this doesn’t mean He doesn’t love you.

[9] 2 Samuel 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

[10] Job 5:17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

[11] Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: 12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

  • Make sure you understand this. GOD WILL PUNISH PEOPLE IN THIS LIFE WHOM HE LOVES.
  • Happy is the man that God correcteth. Yes, I don’t want to go down the wrong path. Please stop me.
  • People contact me who believe that God is rejecting them or hating them.
  • They think He doesn’t love them. Are you doing wrong in your life? He could be correcting you.
  • They’ll say, “I have this problem or that problem. God must hate me. Everything is going wrong.”

[12] Proverbs 15:10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

  • Do not hate the correction of the Lord. People who are in heaven went through the same things.
  • And God loves those people. King David is an example. He lost children because of his sins.
  • God corrected him. King Saul is an example. God took Saul out of this life because He loved Saul.
  • Saul was a saved man but did many evil things. God ended his life and this is the ultimate punishment.
  • Saul hated the reproof. “And he that hateth reproof shall die.” I would be very careful of that.

Saul lost his life because he didn’t take the correction. He refused it over and over again.

  • But Saul went to heaven because the Bible says that Saul would be with Samuel.
  • You can take a look at all the kings. You’ll find more examples. King Solomon is another example.
  • All 100% of people in heaven were not good until God gave them their goodness.
  • They were all sinners. It’s not okay to sin, but as long as we have this flesh, we will sin.
  • We should do our absolute best to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

[13] Romans 7:18-19 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

  • When the people in heaven died, it was their flesh that died. All the evil is in our flesh or body.
  • The people in heaven did not get there by their works that they did through their flesh.
  • They got there through faith in Jesus Christ. They got there through faith in God.
  • Paul sinned in his flesh over and over again. He says so. There’s not one man alive who is better than Paul.

Paul writes these books through the Holy Spirit.

  • If any man would be saved through the flesh, it would be Paul. God says so. But what did Paul just say?
  • He says, “But the evil which I would not, that I do.” We know that Paul continued to sin in his flesh.
  • Everyone does. But when Paul died, his flesh died. His body was buried. His soul went to heaven.

[14] Philippians 1:21-24 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

  • Paul was a sinner. He persecuted the church who believed in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to him.
  • He woke up. He was blind. But now he sees. He says, “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
  • The world would ask, “How is death gain? We don’t want to die.” How did Paul gain through death?
  • His body died, but his soul went to heaven to be with Jesus Christ.

When A Saved Person Dies, Their Soul Goes To Heaven

He says, “Having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is FAR BETTER.”

  • We know 100% for sure that Paul was saved before he died. He knew that.
  • He was going to heaven no matter what evil he did in his flesh. King David had Uriah murdered.
  • King Saul killed many people that were not the enemies of God. Solomon went after false gods.

They are all in heaven because God loved them once and for all once they believed in Him.

  • When I say believed in Him, I mean that they believed He could do anything. Nothing is too hard for God.
  • And that means they believed that God could save them. They knew God would save them.
  • I know that Jesus Christ will be there when I take my last breath. He promised me. I trust Him.
  • I 100% know without a doubt that He will take me to heaven no matter what I do in this life.

He has loved me my entire life even though I have done evil. Have I been punished by Him for the evil I’ve done.

  • Yes, I know for sure that I have been. I lost a child, and that’s probably for the things that I’ve done wrong.
  • It was my fault. It is not God’s fault. He’s never done wrong. I’ve done wrong. I deserve the chastening.
  • I was taught a lesson. I don’t ever want that to happen again so it’s time to get things right.

And now that I have believed on Him, I will continue in His love for eternity because I have believed in Him.

  • He first loved me, and now it’s time for me to show my love for Him by doing what He says.
  • And know all of you here right now are with me on that. We will do our best to follow Jesus Christ.
  • Everyone gets to heaven the exact same way. It’s for sure not because of our goodness.
  • The people in heaven didn’t get there because of their goodness.

[15] 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

[16] 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

  • Who loved who first? Did we love God first? No, we did not love God first.
  • He loves every person He has ever created. He loves them FIRST. He was here before we were here.
  • That’s true for every single person who is saved or needs to be saved.

God’s plans to send His Son to die for us were made far before any person ever lived on this earth.

  • When God says He will do something, He’ll do it. He keeps His words ALWAYS.
  • We know for sure that God has loved all people.
  • We know for sure that He has always loved the people who are in heaven. He has never hated them.
  • John, who wrote that right there, wasn’t perfect. He was a sinner, but God never hated him.
  • God always loved John from before he was born, after he was born, and while he is in heaven.

Let’s switch things up here and talk about the people who are in hell. Did God once love these people?

  • Does He love them now that they are in hell? For some reason, preachers don’t want to talk about hell.
  • People don’t love to hear about hell. They want to hear what they want to hear.
  • Well, we’re going to talk about hell because it’s very important to understand.
  • Let me be very clear. God does not love the people who He cast into hell. Who cast them into hell?

[17] Matthew 18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

  • It’s not God who causes this casting into hell fire. It’s each and every person who is the cause.
  • But the casting into hell can only be done through the power of God. God casts people into hell.

[18] Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

  • God kills, and God casts into hell. The Bible says, “FEAR HIM.” Who is Him?
  • Some people, especially worldly “Christians” might say, “This must be talking about Satan.”
  • It’s not talking about Satan. This is talking about God.

[19] Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

  • The Bible only teaches us to fear God and Him alone. We are not to fear anything else.
  • The one we are to fear is the one who casts people into hell.
  • People who are in hell were cast into hell by God. Jesus Christ cast these people into hell.
  • Is this an act of love to these people who are being cast into hell? No, it’s not.
  • It’s an act of love towards the rest of the people because the evil is being removed.

God Loves The Good And Hates The Evil = The Just And Holy God

We are to love the good and hate the evil. God does this by sending the good to heaven and the evil to hell.

  • God loves the good people who have His righteousness and hates the evil people who don’t.
  • We only get His righteousness by believing on His Son, Jesus Christ.

[20] Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

  • Abel had faith. He obtained witness that he was righteous through FAITH ALONE.
  • Cain didn’t have faith. He is evil. Cain is in hell burning in torment right now.
  • For those who won’t believe on His Son, they are cast into hell.

[21] Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

[22] Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

[23] 2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

  • Cain is in hell, but did God ever love Cain? Did God give Cain many chances to have faith.
  • Yes, He gave him many years to have faith. Did Cain ever have faith?

[24] 1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

[25] Jude 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

  • Cain is of that wicked one. He’s in hell 100% for sure. God loved Cain at one point.
  • As a baby, God loved Cain. Cain’s name was written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world.
  • Guaranteed that God loved Cain. But God’s love for Cain ended once God rejected Cain.
  • When did that happen for Cain? I can guarantee you that it wasn’t after Cain died.

He didn’t go to the throne of God in heaven, stand before God, and God judged him to see if he was good enough.

  • God already knows whether you’re saved or not every moment of every day.
  • People act as if God doesn’t know if you’re going to heaven or hell at every moment in life. He knows.
  • He sees everything. He knows whether or not you believe in His Son.
  • He doesn’t judge you by your works to see if you’re allowed in heaven or not.

[26] Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

  • Being saved is NOT of works. We are ONLY saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Grave means we do not deserve it. Grace is the opposite of work.
  • If you worked for it, then it wouldn’t be grace. We are saved through FAITH. God clearly says so.
  • Once we have faith in God, this will lead to us doing what He says because we believe in Him.
  • If we never believe, why would we do what He tells us to do?

Those who believe are the ones who usually will do some kind of good works.

  • But they also sin and do evil works as well. We are His workmanship.
  • We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works that we SHOULD walk in them.
  • But we aren’t saved by works.
  • Faith does not include works, obviously. People in hell never had faith in Jesus Christ.

Never Having Faith In Jesus Christ = Death And Hell

If you never have faith in Jesus Christ, and you die, then you’re going to hell. This means God hates you.

  • This means He gave you plenty of opportunities to believe in Him, but you wouldn’t do it.
  • Cain wouldn’t have faith in God. God hated Cain once He rejected Cain. That was before Cain died.
  • There’s another person mentioned in the Bible who wouldn’t have faith in God.
  • The Bible CLEARLY says that God hated this man. Let’s read this.

[27] Romans 9:10-13 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

  • Being God’s chosen or elect children is ONLY due to faith in God.
  • Not of works but of him that calleth upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Esau and Jacob were twins of the same flesh. TWINS. Same Dad. Same Mom.
  • God loved Jacob but hated Esau. Jacob went to heaven. Esau went to hell. They were brothers.

[28] Malachi 1:2-3 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, 3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

  • God hated Esau. This means Esau was totally rejected by God and had no chance of going to heaven.
  • Did God love Esau as a baby? Yes He did.
  • God has loved each and every person or He wouldn’t have created them.
  • God loved Satan before he turned on Him. God loved all the people who are now in hell.
  • But once they are rejected, He hates them. And He doesn’t change His mind.
  • He makes it impossible for them to believe on Jesus Christ.

[29] Hebrews 12:16-17 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

  • Esau was a fornicator and a profane person. HE WAS REJECTED. He found no place of repentance.
  • He didn’t find a change of mind to believing in the Lord. He never trusted in the Lord God Almighty.
  • Not once. He sought it carefully with tears, but he found no place of repentance. Why? He was rejected.
  • He was hated by God. It was too late for him.

And churches today with false preachers will say that God doesn’t reject anyone and doesn’t hate anyone.

  • There’s about 31 verses in the Bible that teach us that God hates people.
  • I’m not going through all of them today. There are verses that teach us that God rejects people.
  • Esau is one of these people who God rejected and hated. Cain is one of those people.

[30] Hebrews 6:6-8 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

  • These people are rejected by God. “Whose end is to be burned.” This is speaking of hell.
  • There’s fire in hell. There’s gnashing of teeth. There’s torment.
  • God doesn’t love the people He casts into hell. That’s just foolish to say that God loves those people.

[31] Proverbs 1:24-27 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

[32] Proverbs 1:28-31 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

  • God is saying that these people who end up in hell rejected Him first.
  • He called for them. They refused Him. They wouldn’t listen. They bowed out their neck and chest.
  • God says He will laugh at them when their destruction cometh as a whirlwind.
  • These are people are rejected by God and hated by God. He gave them many chances.
  • Now, let’s see if this sounds like rejection from God in this next Scripture.

[33] Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

  • These are the people who are rejected by God because they think themselves to be good people.
  • This is the category that most so-called “Christians” will fall into unless they change their mind.
  • Hopefully it isn’t too late for them. They think their wonderful works will get them into heaven.

Having Faith In A Works Based Salvation = Death and Hell

They say, “Lord, Lord, look at all the wonderful works I’ve done in your name. Aren’t we so great?”

  • They don’t understand. They haven’t trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ who is great. We aren’t great.
  • We don’t magnify ourselves. We magnify God because He is great.
  • Jesus says to this group of people: “I NEVER KNEW YOU. DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.”
  • This is called rejection. These people are reprobates. Jesus tells them to get away from Him.

[34] Jeremiah 6:28-30 They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters. 29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away. 30 Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

  • Now, does God reject people or not? The Bible says, “Because the Lord hath rejected them.”
  • Why does the Lord reject someone? They won’t believe in Him. Because of their unbelief, they do evil.
  • Not believing in God is the worst sin that someone can ever commit.
  • Because of their unbelief, they will continue in sin and continue to do wicked and evil things.

[35] Hosea 9:17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

[36] 2 Kings 17:20 And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

[37] Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

  • Let’s make sure we get this straight. God loved all these people first.
  • He loves them when they are unsaved. He does everything He can to save these people.
  • He died for these people. He gave His life for these people. He gave them life. He takes care of them.
  • And they reject Him over and over again. Then, He rejects them. They rejected Him first.

[38] Matthew 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

  • The rejects, like many of the Pharisees, rejected Jesus Christ first. He is the stone that they rejected.
  • Jesus calls many of the scribes and Pharisees children of the devil. They are reprobate.
  • They will never become children of God because they won’t believe in Jesus Christ.
  • The Jews today hate Jesus Christ. They pass down their traditions of men over God’s words.

[39] Mark 7:7-9 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

  • If you love to reject God’s words and choose your religion, then you might be reprobate.
  • Hell will be the destination unless you’re able to change your mind and believe on Jesus Christ alone.
  • For example, you have all these religious people out there today who profess to follow Jesus Christ.
  • But they don’t hear His words at all.

[40] John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

  • These rejects will look at that verse and tell me that it’s not right.
  • They will try to teach me their traditions of men just like the scribes and the Pharisees.
  • They put me down, call me names, call me stupid, and raise themselves up above me.

Believing On Jesus Christ = Faith In Him And Him Alone

They do this constantly. One man said, “Obviously, you don’t understand the language of the Bible.”

  • “Believe means to take action and do works.”
  • “Believing includes repenting of sin and being baptized in water.”
  • “Believing means to speak in tongues.” They say, “You don’t understand the Bible.”
  • Is it I that doesn’t understand or is it the reject that doesn’t understand?
  • Read that verse again. It’s rather simple to understand. And the whole chapter backs up that point.
  • The entire Gospel of John backs up that point. But the rejects choose traditions of men over Jesus Christ.

[41] John 8:38-40 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

[42] John 8:41-43 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

[43] John 8:44-45 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

[44] John 8:46-48 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. 48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

  • If Jesus came today and talked with these religious people of today, they would act the same.
  • They would sound just like these Pharisees. They hate Jesus Christ, and they would kill Him again.
  • Jesus blinded these evil people. In other words, He rejected them.
  • Jesus makes the blind to see. And the ones who think they know everything are made blind.

[45] John 9:39-41 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. 40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? 41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

  • Listen to Jesus Christ and His words, and He will love you now and forever.
  • If you choose the other way, you will never be saved. We must hear His words. They are clear.

[46] Matthew 15:12-14 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? 13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. 14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

  • “Let them alone,” Jesus says. He didn’t try to go back and save them. Why is that? They are blinded.
  • They are rejected. They are children of the devil. They have no chance to be saved. They are hell bound.
  • There is no other destination. We see examples of hell bound people all throughout the Bible.

Once God rejects a person, as He did many of the Pharisees, they are hated by God.

  • Jesus gives up on them. You can see this in this Scripture. Let them alone. Forget about them.
  • And you were probably taught false doctrine in church that Jesus doesn’t give up on people. WRONG.
  • Have ye not read the Scriptures? Maybe you should start reading the Scriptures.

[47] Romans 1:25-26 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

[48] Romans 1:27-28 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

  • Homosexuals who burn in their lust one towards another are rejected by God.
  • He gave them up. He gave them over to a reprobate mind. They are 100% fully rejected by God.
  • LEAVE THEM ALONE. You can try to give them the actual Gospel all you want. They won’t hear it.
  • If you believe the words of the Bible, then you’ll agree with all of this. It’s all right there.
  • They are going to hell. They were rejected by God BEFORE they died.

Many People Who Are Alive Right Now Are Rejected And Hated By God

In other words, some people in this life no longer have a chance. Esau cried over it. Didn’t help.

  • If life is easy for you and everything goes great as you do evil, then you might be a reject.
  • God allows you to destroy yourself. He gave them up and over to a rejected mind.

If you love God and have trouble because you did wrong, then it could be God chastening you.

  • So, here’s the groups of people that we’ve went over in this sermon today.
  • We have unsaved people who haven’t yet believed on Jesus Christ but aren’t rejected.
  • God loves these people. We all were these people at many points in our life.

We didn’t always believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and God still loved us.

  • This is unconditional love because He loved us when we didn’t believe in Him.
  • But to continue in His love, these unsaved people must be saved before they die.
  • They must be saved before God rejects them. There is a condition to continue in His love.
  • These unsaved people must believe on Jesus Christ before it’s too late.

We then have unsaved people who won’t believe on Jesus Christ.

  • These people will be rejected by God in this life. There are reprobates all over the world today.
  • These might be the people who are proud of the abortions that they’ve had.
  • They are proud of killing their own innocent babies. They are drunkards and drug heads who won’t stop.
  • They are pedophiles and child molesters. They are serial killers who love what they do.
  • They are child kidnappers who sell children to evil men and women.
  • We can’t see they are rejected, but God knows. They become rejects in this life. Not after they die.

So, again, there are unsaved people who can still be saved and unsaved people who can’t be saved.

  • Then we have people who are saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Within this group of people, there are people who are following Jesus Christ.
  • These are disciples of Jesus Christ. They follow His words. They don’t reject His words or change them.
  • Sometimes they mess up and sin, but they repent of their sin and get back on track.
  • They were saved and had eternal life at the moment they believed in Jesus Christ.

Then we have saved people who aren’t following Jesus Christ.

  • They might appear to be evil people.
  • Saul would have appeared to be an evil man and maybe a reject to us.
  • David may have appeared to be evil if we only saw a couple of the things he did.

There are saved people who do not follow Jesus Christ. They’re still going to heaven.

  • Once they believe on Jesus Christ, they have everlasting life. God will chasten them.
  • He will punish them in this life but He will not throw them into hell. Why?
  • Because He gave them everlasting life. But they choose not to listen and follow His words.

These are all the groups of people out there. Who does God love? Let’s summarize this sermon.

  • I want you to make sure you understand what I’m preaching as many accuse me of other things.
  • God has always loved the people who are in heaven right now.
  • God once loved the people who are in hell right now, but now He hates them.
  • God loves unsaved people who haven’t yet believed on Jesus Christ. They have chances to be saved.
  • God does not love unsaved people who He has rejected and are still living right now.
  • Their only destination is hell. These are the workers of iniquity described in the Bible.

[49] Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

[50] Psalm 14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

[51] Psalm 36:12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

[52] Proverbs 21:15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

  • Many of these workers of iniquity are the so-called “Christians” who think they are good.
  • “Look at us and how great we are!!!” Jesus says, “Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.”

We Do Not Know So We Preach The Gospel To All

Now, do we know who is who in these categories of people? No, we don’t. We can look upon them.

  • We can see what they do. We can see their works. But we can’t look upon their heart, mind, and soul.
  • People who are saved and following the commandments of God will get the Gospel out to people.
  • There are others who won’t give the Gospel.
  • They will still go to heaven but they aren’t following the commandments of God.
  • We are to preach the Gospel to every creature.

[53] Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

  • We don’t skip over strangers that we don’t know because they “look” a certain way.
  • Your eyes will deceive you many times. Be very careful. Don’t skip over an unsaved person who God loves.
  • If you attempt to give the Gospel to a reprobate, of course, they won’t listen.
  • But you don’t know that until you try. Might as well give it a shot.
  • It will usually only take about 30 seconds. Once they hear the name of Jesus, they will tell you no.

One last time as we close here. God’s love is not always unconditional. He first loved us before we knew.

  • He only continues to love people who believe on His Son, Jesus Christ. Those people continue in His love.
  • The others will not continue in His love. They will have His love until they are rejected.
  • He will send the truth to them. The Gospel will be preached unto them. They will see the truth.
  • But they will reject the truth. They will reject God. And at some point, God will reject them.
  • He will no longer love them. He will reject them and hate them for eternity.

The people who God loves will go to heaven. There are millions there right now. They weren’t perfect people.

  • They only got to heaven through faith in God. Their works did not get them to heaven. None of them.
  • God loves those people because they obeyed God by believing on His Son, Jesus Christ.
  • There was nothing else required. They were sinners. God imputed His righteousness unto them.
  • The people who won’t believe God will go to hell. They won’t believe for a moment in their entire life.
  • There are babies and young children who die before they believe. They are in heaven too.
  • Their names are written in the Book of Life, and they were not rejected by God.

Let’s pray.
