Early Life and Calling to Ministry
A young Joshua Tapp growing up in Shelby County, Kentucky.
Born on November 9, 1979, in Louisville, Kentucky, Pastor Joshua Tapp grew up in Shelby County, KY in a hard-working, faith-based family. His upbringing instilled in him a deep love for God’s Word, discipline, and service to others.

✅ Experienced God’s calling to lead a church dedicated to truth
Education and Professional Background
Pastor Joshua Tapp attended the University of Louisville for Engineering Speed Scientific School. He held the flag for the school at the graduation due to finishing first in the class and university.
Pastor Tapp holds multiple advanced degrees in engineering, demonstrating his strong analytical mindset and dedication to excellence.

💼 Worked as an Electrical Engineer from 2002 – Present
While excelling in his professional career, he remained fully committed to his faith, leading Bible studies, serving in church ministries, and preaching the Gospel.
Salvation and Calling to Preach

In 2017, Pastor Tapp was gloriously saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. He remembers the exact moment when he believed on the Lord Jesus Christ while watching online sermons and studying the King James Bible.

Josh worked a full-time job while leading churches from 2019 to 2025. He routinely works and puts in 12 to 16 hour days every day of the week. He is now focusing more of his life on God’s work.

Pastor Joshua Tapp with his wife, Pamela Tapp. They met when they were 16 years old.
Pastor Tapp has been happily married to his wife, Pamela, since 2002. They have been together since 1996 when they first met. Together, they have four children who are actively involved in the church and love soul-winning.
