God’s Anger Isn’t a Flaw, It’s a Warning

Category: The Heart of God

This is FaithFuel Daily—a lightning strike of God’s truth to remind you who He really is. One verse. One fire. Every day.

📖 Scripture of the Day

Nahum 1:6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

🧨 We’ve Sanitized God—and It Shows

Modern Christianity has created a “safe” God.
All smiles. All grace. All hugs.
But the Bible shows a God who burns with righteous fury.

He doesn’t just dislike evil—He destroys it.
He doesn’t laugh off rebellion—He judges it.

You’re not supposed to feel cozy when you read about His wrath.
You’re supposed to feel small.

💡 God’s Anger Isn’t Sinful—It’s Holy

He doesn’t lash out.
He doesn’t lose it.
His wrath isn’t rage—it’s justice.

When you see God’s anger in Scripture, it’s not a flaw in His character—it’s a mirror for yours.

⚖️ He Warns Because He Loves

God’s fury is terrifying. But it’s not the end of the story.
He warns. He delays. He calls men to repent before the rocks fall.

And that’s mercy.

🗣️ Say it:

“Lord, thank You for warning me—help me fear You more than the fire.”
