[2] The title of the sermon: “ARE YOU LOST?”

  • I want to give this sermon today to people out there who are lost.
  • You might feel lost, hurt, depressed, and you might hate life right now.
  • Please listen to this today, and you will now know what to do. You will not be lost any more.
  • I’m going to tell you the truth today about life, God’s design, and how all of this works.

Let’s start with your life and who gave you the life that is within you right now.

  • Where did humans come from? Do you know that answer? We didn’t come from fish or animals.
  • Reality shows you the truth, and the Bible matches reality because the Bible is truth.

[3] Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

  • God formed man of the dust of the ground. The first man came from the dust of the ground.
  • He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.
  • Who is this God who did this? He is the Almighty and everlasting God. He is the Father, Son, and Spirit.
  • And you can take a look around outside and see what He’s done.

After this sermon, go find a trail somewhere. Take a walk through nature. See what He’s done.

  • Look closely. See the life in the things that He’s created. From trees to ants moving around.
  • God owns the life within every person and every living thing.
  • You are alive right now ONLY because of God.
  • You became a living soul. He knows every hair that is on your head. He knows you well.

[4] Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

  • Our bodies were formed from the dust of the ground. We will work hard in life. Life is not easy.
  • We will all sweat. We will all have troubles. If you think I don’t have any troubles, you would be wrong.
  • If you think you’re all alone in having troubles, you would be wrong. We all have them.

We all cry together. We all groan together. We will all die in this flesh. We will return to the ground.

  • This is the truth. I will not lie to you. We came from the dust and to the dust we shall return.
  • But, this is talking about our bodies. This body or flesh is just a shell for the spirit and soul within us.
  • The spirit within us is the life. Our soul is who we are. And the spirit and soul can only be divided by God.
  • I will explain these things to you today. This is the truth from words that came from the mouth of God.
  • When you see a Scripture on this screen, these are words from God.

[5] Romans 8:22-23 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Let me be clear. If you think you’re sad and crying on your own, you aren’t. I cry too. I get extremely sad too.

  • We all do. You are not alone in this life. There are billions of others like you out here in this world.
  • If someone says that they don’t cry, they are a liar. Tears will flow at times.
  • If you think you’re the only one who gets extremely angry, you aren’t. I get extremely angry too.
  • If someone claims that they don’t get angry, they are a liar. REALITY PROVES DIFFERENT.
  • We all have feelings and emotions because God made us with them. We are all the same but not exact.
  • We all get depressed at times. We all have big problems at times. We are together in this.

[6] Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

[7] Ecclesiastes 3:5-8 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

  • All of these things God just mentioned? You will go through most of them or even all of them.
  • There is a time in your life for all of these things. There is a time to break down.
  • There is a time to build up. It’s time for you to start building up now. You’ve been broken down.

If you’ve been lost and broken for a while, HEY, it’s time to start building.

  • There is a time to weep, cry, and let the tears flow. But now, it’s time to change that.
  • It’s time to laugh and to dance. And you might say: “Well, I don’t feel like it right now.”
  • Well, by the end of this sermon, let’s change that together. It’s a time to get and not a time to lose today.
  • It’s a time to keep and not a time to cast away TODAY. It’s a time to put things back together.
  • It’s a time to speak today. It’s a time to love today and not to hate. It’s a time of peace and not war.

[8] Psalm 48:6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

  • A woman in travail is a woman giving birth. Think of your life in this same way.
  • God makes this comparison in the Bible. Life is very painful at times. It’s tough. It’s difficult.
  • Sometimes you might not even want to live any more. We all go through these things.
  • But what happens during child birth, at the end? “For joy that a man is born into the world.”

Let’s say you’ve been in pain in this life. You’ve been afraid. You’ve been mad, angry, tired, sad, broken.

  • Are you lost? We’ve all been lost. I’ve been lost many times in my life. I don’t have it all together.
  • You might think this. But I’m just a man like you, a human. Fear took hold. Pain came.
  • But today, it’s time to be re-born. It’s time to get some joy back into your life.

I want to be clear that this is your decision. It’s your choice today to change things. OR NOT. Don’t choose NOT.

  • Why would you want to keep going the same way? Don’t continue to choose death and destruction.
  • Being lost is not fun at all. Here’s one thing God gave you.
  • He gave you the power to make your own decisions. From a baby, you didn’t get to choose your parents.
  • It’s not your fault if your parents made bad decisions and choices in their life. You didn’t make them.
  • You might be angry with God because of the parents you received. It’s time to get over that.

You may have been abused as a child and wondered where God was when you needed help.

  • Well, He’s here right now telling you the truth in His words. And you’re listening. God can fix everything.
  • Now you have a choice just as your parents had a choice. They made bad choices.
  • Those choices hurt you. Now you can see what choices will do to people. God will make things right.
  • If you continue in the same bad choices that your parents made, you will hurt others.
  • You don’t have to be like that, and you don’t have to continue in these things that hurt people.

God, in His words, tells us what is right and wrong. If we go against His words, we hurt ourselves and others.

  • This is why there is pain, suffering, tears, travail, and groaning within this world.
  • We have choices to make. When we make the wrong choices, we cause the pain and suffering.
  • God didn’t cause these things.

And yes, the children many times pay for the bad choices their parents make.

  • I’ve made bad choices and hurt my own children before. I am greatly sorry for that.
  • I don’t want to do those things. I don’t want to hurt other people.
  • If you are a parent, you’ve done the same things.
  • If you will be a parent, you will make bad choices at times. You will hurt your children when you do wrong.

So, why am I here? Because I want to get things right. I want to do what God says to do so I don’t hurt others.

  • I want you to get things right so you aren’t lost any more. I want you to get on the right track.
  • The pain and suffering that you’ve had can get better. You can get the joy back in your life.
  • Or, you can find joy for the first time EVER in your life if you’ve never had it before.

And remember, this is your choice. God gives you that power and that right to make your own choice today.

  • If you don’t make the right choice today, you could be in this great pain forever.
  • I don’t want that for you. God definitely doesn’t want that for you. He shows you that He doesn’t.
  • So, you’ve had a tough life, a difficult life, and you’ve made some very bad decisions. We all have.
  • You’re lost right now. You don’t know the way to go or how to get out of this trouble.
  • You don’t know how to feel better. You don’t know what to do. Let’s find the way out of this today.
  • Let’s do this together TODAY. Let’s not wait any more. I don’t want you to end up dead.

So, which way do you go? Do you continue doing the same things that you’re doing? The answer to that is no.

  • So, right now, you have to make a decision to stop doing things the same way.
  • Where did these things get you? You are lost. They took you the wrong way. Right?
  • If you keep going this way, you will be destroyed. So, look, STOP RIGHT NOW. And listen to this.
  • I promise you that this will be the right way. You will not be lost any more. Listen to this.

[9] Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

  • God gave you the life that is within you. You must be very important to Him. I know that you are.
  • He chose you to live right now. We are here living together right now. YOU AND I.
  • We are important to God. “The breath of the ALMIGHTY hath given me life.”
  • Try saying that to yourself and understand who gave you life. This means everyone you see, including yourself, is important to God.
  • You may feel alone, but that is because of the bad choices you’ve made. You are not alone.
  • The life that you’ve lived, filled with bad choices, has led to you feeling lost.
  • And we all make bad choices. We’ve all went the wrong way.

Because of this, we are headed for death. Our body will die because we have sinned against the Almighty.

  • This is reality. The Bible tells us that there are none good. None have done right all the time.
  • The wages of sin is death. God tells us to not lie, steal, or want what others have.
  • We break those laws of God, we sin against Him, and we earn death.

This is why people die. We die because we aren’t good. We’re guilty. All of us.

  • We are in this together. Now, I am only here right now because I know the right way.
  • And I’m going to share the right way with you today. Let’s fix this. Let’s find the right way.
  • Let’s find the right path to something that leads to more life and not pain, sorrow, and death.
  • I am tired of pain, sorrow, tears, and death. I don’t want those for anyone. God doesn’t either.
  • The will of God is that you will be saved from all of these things. He wants GOOD FOR YOU.
  • And He sent me to you today to tell you these things. Please, keep listening. Don’t stop.

God the Father, the majesty on high, who sits in the heavens right now, has a Son who is named Jesus Christ.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is God all on His own too. I want to tell you about Him today.
  • God the Father sent His Son to this earth to save us from death and hell.
  • There are two places you can go when you die, only two: 1) heaven or paradise and 2) hell or death.

When your body breathes it’s last breath, you will end up in one of those two places.

  • If you have not been forgiven of everything you’ve done wrong, BY GOD, you will go to hell.
  • This is not good news. But, I have good news for you today. It’s the best news you’ll ever hear.
  • You can be forgiven of everything you’ve done wrong: in the past, in the present, and future.

Today, if you listen closely, you can be sure you’re going to heaven. You can be 100% sure today.

  • God the Father needed someone to be the Savior of the world.
  • That someone must be perfect and without sin. Perfect means not one lie.
  • That would be none of us because we have all sinned and we all come short of the glory of God.

[10] Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

  • Jesus, the Son of God, who you were created through, stood up a long time ago, before the foundation of the world, and He said, “I WILL GO. I WILL DO IT. I WILL SAVE THE WORLD.”
  • He knew your name at that time, a long time ago. He knew you would be here listening right now.

He knew you would go against Him in this life. He knew you wouldn’t listen to Him most of your life.

  • And yet, He still stood up and said, “I will go. I will die for you so you can be saved.”
  • He didn’t make you do the bad things that you’ve done in your life. You chose those things.
  • And what He did wasn’t easy on Him. He didn’t get the advantages of being God.
  • He came in this same flesh as you and I. He was conceived in His mother’s womb by the Holy Ghost.
  • He was born of a woman named Mary who was a virgin at that time.
  • The man who acted as his father on this earth was Joseph who was the husband of Mary.

He was born into this world just like you and I except he was born in a manger and not a house or hospital.

  • He humbled Himself and came to this earth in the form of a servant.
  • He lived a perfect life. People hated Him for it. But He couldn’t do anything else but be perfect.
  • He is God. God cannot lie to you. In His words, He tells you the truth about everything.
  • I am tired of being lied to in this world. So I go to the Bible now to find the truth of everything.
  • You might say? “Well, I don’t know what’s right and wrong any more.” Go to the Bible.
  • I will help you go to the Bible.

[11] Philippians 2:7-8 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

  • Jesus was put to death by the people. But He allowed this and did this purposely for you and I.
  • He knew He was going to be spit on, mocked, beat, tortured, slashed, and hung by His own people.
  • These are people He loved and cared for. They betrayed Him. His friends ran away. They denied Him.

They left Him to die there all on His own.

  • So, listen, if you think you’ve been through a lot, Jesus has been through worse.
  • And yet, He still said nothing and took it all for you and I.
  • In truth, we killed Him because we make bad choices. So He had to go to the cross and die for us.
  • All of us? We all killed Jesus Christ because we sinned against Him.
  • He had to do this so we can go to heaven.

What happened to Him? They hung Him on a cross. They put nails through His hands.

  • After He died on the cross, they stabbed Him with a speak in His side. He was dead. They made sure.
  • His body was buried in a tomb. His soul went to the literal hell and the lowest hell.
  • He is a substitute for us in hell. If we died in our sin, without being forgiven, our soul would go to hell.

But, He took everything that we’ve ever done wrong, placed it onto Himself, and took our punishment.

  • Our punishment would be death and hell. He took that for us. He suffered for our sins.
  • He didn’t deserve any of this because He’s done nothing wrong. We deserve it, though.
  • We’ve hurt ourselves and others with the choices we’ve made. We deserve it. He didn’t.
  • His body stayed in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights. His soul was in hell for the same time.

Now, we get to the good news that will save you from death and hell. Remember, this is the way.

  • You were lost, but I’m going to show you the way and what all of this means. This is the key to life.
  • You didn’t know what to do. Now, you’re going to know exactly what to do with your life.
  • Jesus arose from the dead. Many people saw Him die on the cross. They saw Him buried.
  • They even put guards by to tomb to ensure no one messed with His body in the tomb.

On the third day, He arose from the dead. His body was resurrected from the dead.

  • He stayed on earth, in His resurrected body, for 40 days. He appeared to many witnesses.
  • He ate and drank with people after He arose from the dead. This is all good news for you and I.
  • The Bible says that He has the keys of hell and of death. He can save you from hell and of death.
  • The Bible tells us that Jesus ALONE is “THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.”

[12] 1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

  • Since you’re lost, you might have went looking for something to save you.
  • You may have found basketball, football, music, friends, or church to save you.
  • The truth is that no one else can save you but Jesus Christ. Hey, you’re looking for the way, right?
  • You’re lost and you need to find the way. Well, I know someone whose name is THE WAY.

What’s His name? THE WAY. In other words, there is no other way. HE IS THE WAY. That is HIS NAME.

  • His name is Jesus Christ. Yes, people in your life have probably mocked Jesus too.
  • This means they know nothing of Him. “Oh, just someone else saying Jesus is the answer.”
  • Yes, the right Jesus is the answer. The Jesus who I speak of is the one in the Bible.
  • He’s the living Jesus who is alive and breathing right now. He is here in the midst of us right now.
  • He’s listening. He’s there with you if you’re listening to this. And He died so you could be saved.
  • And His will, He wants this more than anything, is for you to believe in Him and be saved right now.

Jesus sits on the right hand of His Father in heaven. He can be everywhere at once. He knows all things.

  • He can do all things including saving you.
  • If He’s sitting in heaven, and He is from heaven, and you want to go to heaven and not hell, do you think He can get you there?
  • If He made this whole world, if the mountains shake and tremble when He’s close, do you think He can do all things?
  • If He designed the birds, the bees, the ants, the seas, the fountains of the deep, don’t you think He can save you?
  • If He breathed the life you have right now into you, don’t you think He can give you more life?

You didn’t do anything to receive this life that He gave you.

  • You didn’t have to be a good and perfect person for Him to die for you. Did you?
  • You didn’t even ask Him to do it for you. He did it before you even knew anything.
  • He loved you first. You had no clue He was doing these things for you. He saves you in this life.
  • You should be dead right now. I should be dead right now. He’s saved out of things we didn’t even know.

Now, listen, that’s a real friend right there. He only wants good for us so He tells what to do and what not to do.

  • If we go against Him, we get hurt. But if do what He says, He saves us out of many things.
  • Aren’t you tired of hurting? Aren’t you tired of being lost? Aren’t you tired of being depressed?
  • Aren’t you tired of being sick? Aren’t you tired of not knowing what you should be doing?
  • What do you do now? Which way do you go? You have this power to make this choice TODAY.

[13] John 14:5-6 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

  • If you want to go to heaven where God is located, PARADISE, you must know the way.
  • You need directions. I don’t know how to get you to the spiritual world of heaven.
  • I can’t see it. I’ve never been there. I don’t have directions. I can’t draw you a map.
  • But, I can tell you who can. Hey, I know the man who knows the way to heaven.
  • I know the man who will be standing there waiting for you when you take your last breath.
  • I DO KNOW THAT MAN. His name is Jesus Christ. His name is THE WAY. He is the Lord of all creation.
  • He is not hard to find because He’s everywhere.

[14] Acts 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

  • He is not far. He is very close. He made you and already knows you better than you do.
  • He’s waiting for you. He’s suffered everything that you’ve done wrong. He’s been patient with you.
  • Now is the time to make the right decision. Don’t be ignorant. This is the time for you.
  • He’s there with you. If you’re hearing this, it’s for you. Seek God, and you will find Him.
  • You will find Jesus Christ. And He is greater than anything you’ll ever find.

If you’ve been lost, now you have been found. Jesus found you. He goes out looking for you every day.

  • You didn’t go looking for Him. You were lost so He goes out to find you. He finds you every day.
  • He looks out for you every day. But you still wander around Him. He’s there.
  • But you’ve rejected Him in the past. Now, don’t do that any more. Don’t be dumb.
  • Don’t be offended. I was dumb. Still am most of the time. Jesus is not. He knows where you are.

[15] Jeremiah 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

  • This world will turn you away from God. This world will lie to you. And you got lost because of this.
  • But God found you every day. He’s been protecting you every day even though you didn’t know it.
  • And now you’re starting to see the truth and the way to God. You aren’t there just yet. Keep listening.

[16] Matthew 18:12-14 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

  • God rejoices when you finally find the way who is Jesus Christ. You wake up to Him being there for you.
  • God doesn’t want you to perish. You are one of His little ones. If you’re lost, He’s here.
  • He isn’t lost. He sees everything, knows everything, and is never lost. I’ve been lost. I am not good.
  • God is never lost. He knows the way because He is the way. We simply seek our God who created us.

[17] Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

  • He isn’t a stranger to you. You know God. Deep down you know that this is the truth.
  • Now that you know who the way is, what do you do?
  • There’s something extremely simple that you must do. God even calls it simple in the Bible.
  • There are hundreds of verses in the Bible that tell you exactly what you need to do.

[18] Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

  • The Bible gives this exact question. You want to be saved from death and hell.
  • You want to be saved out of all the things that have hurt you in this life. You don’t want to be lost.
  • This man in Acts Chapter 16 fell down because he almost killed himself. He was trembling.
  • He was afraid. He gave up. Almost died. These men stopped him from killing himself.
  • He was a lost man at this time. He fell down and said, “What MUST I do to be saved?”

Jesus Christ is seeking after you right now. He knows you are lost. He doesn’t want you to be lost.

  • He wants you to be saved. He already did everything required for you to be saved right now.
  • Do you want to know the answer to “What must I do to be saved?” The Bible tells you.

[19] Acts 16:27-32 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

  • So, if you’re lost today, I am calling out for you to STOP. Do thyself no harm. Do you understand this?
  • Don’t continue on the same path. You’re going to end up dead and in hell. Don’t do this.
  • If you don’t think I care, what do you think I’m doing here? I don’t want anything but you to be saved.
  • What must I do to be saved? “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.”

I am speaking the word of the Lord to you right now. Same as was done to that man and his family that day.

  • This is my job. This is a job that God gave me to do. And this will be a job of yours too.
  • First, though, you need to believe in Jesus Christ. You need to know what this means so you can do it.
  • Have you ever heard anyone say to someone, “I believe in you.” What are they saying?
  • They are saying, “I believe in you. I know you can do it. I know you can get that done.”
  • When we hire someone to do a job, we’re putting our confidence or trust in that person.
  • We trust that they will get the job done. We believe in them to finish the job.

Remember, God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to do a job. This job was of utmost importance to God.

  • Who was chosen to save you? Jesus Christ the Son of God.
  • Do you know why God the Father chose His Son and sent His Son to save you?
  • Because He knew that He would get the job done. If He would have chosen me, we would all be dead.

He doesn’t mess up. He knew Jesus would get it done. And He did. It’s done. It’s finished.

  • All the work that is required for you to be saved was already completed by God.
  • When you believe in Jesus, you know that He can save you. “I know you can do this, Jesus.”
  • “I believe in you. I know you can save me because you are the Son of God.”
  • “I know that you alone are THE sacrifice for sins. You died for me, was buried, and arose from the dead.”
  • When you believe in Jesus, you trust Him alone. Don’t add anything else to this.

It’s not how bad you’ve been or how good you’ve been. It’s not the life you’ve lived or will live.

  • Salvation, or being saved from death and hell, only comes through believing in Jesus Christ.
  • This means you trust Him. This means you put your faith in Him. “I have faith in you, Jesus.”
  • And don’t put your faith in anything else. We’ve already proven we can’t trust ourselves.
  • For example, I might say: “I will never eat a Little Debbie ever again. It’s not good for me.”
  • And then I do it. And that’s something simple. You might say, “I’m going on a diet tomorrow.”
  • And then you don’t. You cannot trust yourself or your good works or your good life.
  • The Bible tells us that we aren’t good because we aren’t perfect. Jesus is perfect. WE NEED HIM.

[20] John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  • If you believe in Jesus Christ, RIGHT NOW, God gives you everlasting life.
  • There is nothing else required to receive everlasting life because God says so.
  • Men, who are liars, will say that other things are required but they don’t matter.
  • Who cares what they say? I CARE WHAT JESUS CHRIST SAYS BECAUSE HE’S IN CHARGE HERE.
  • They aren’t, and they can’t save anyone. Jesus Christ saves so we listen to what He says.

[21] John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

[22] John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

  • You will never die now. Your soul and spirit is now alive forever. Your body will die, but you won’t.
  • Your body is just a shell of dust and dirt. It returns to the dirt. This is the truth.
  • And to give you even more hope: one day God will raise your body just like He did with Jesus and give you a brand new one with nothing wrong.
  • Awesome. Hey, listen, God has no many good things to give us. We have so much to look forward to.
  • We don’t worry about death any longer because we will never die.
  • He has so many great days planned for us. You can read about them in the Bible.

[23] John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

  • Jesus Christ looks you right in the eyes and says, “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
  • So, what do you do right now? Let’s see. Change your mind about Jesus and believe in Him.
  • It’s all done right there in your mind. If someone is close to you right now, open your mouth.
  • Tell them that you now believe in Jesus Christ. Why not?
  • If no one is there with you, call me at (502)396-1657 and tell me. Or email me.
  • Or text me. It’s important to tell someone.

[24] Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  • Call out to God right now. “Jesus, please save me. I trust you with all my heart.”
  • If you mean it, He just saved you forever. Congratulations. You are not lost because Jesus has you.
  • And He says that He’s given you everlasting life right now. This lasts forever and cannot be lost.
  • Again, who cares what a man says. GOD SAYS IT IS EVERLASTING LIFE.

Now, what do you do from here? Well, you need to know that you have everlasting life.

  • This changes everything for you. God gives you the indwelling of His Spirit to help you.
  • He comforts you. Your job now is to get a King James Bible. Yes, ONLY a King James Bible.
  • Read it every day. Try 3 times a day to start. Morning, Lunch, Dinner.
  • I’m giving you a map so you don’t lose your way in this life, which you can do again.
  • No matter what, you’re going to heaven but now you want to follow Jesus where He goes.

Pray to God each day. Talk to Him from within all day long. Be baptized in water.

  • Find a church that believes in faith in Jesus to save. Nothing else. Get baptized.
  • Start attending the good church you found. If it’s a good church, it will be just like home.
  • Get good music in your life. Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. They will help you.
  • Now, God has given you the job to spread what you just learned.
  • And there is no job more important than this. You have a new manager. You have a new boss.

You work for the Majesty on High now. And He always gives good rewards and good pay.

  • No one on earth can match Him. As you work for Him, you build rewards in heaven.
  • The rewards in heaven never go away. A new car will rust, break down, and rot.
  • Rewards in heaven do not. We do what God says, and we don’t worry about other things.

This is your road map, and it is the most rewarding road map ever.

  • You will still have troubles because of this flesh, but one day you will get rid of it.
  • It will be a great day. And that is just one of the great days left.
  • Allow me to tell you about the greatest day ever that you will now see.
  • Before saved, you weren’t going to be there. NOW, YOU WILL BE THERE.
  • And, if your family or friends are saved, you will see them there. It’s time to tell them about Jesus Christ.

[25] Revelation 21:1-3 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

  • There will be no more sin. We will all have a new body that cannot sin. No sickness. No pain. No sorrow.

[26] Revelation 21:4-6 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

  • God gives the good stuff. He gave you eternal life. You will see this day. No more tears.
  • Yes, we will have tears here. Why? Because of us and people just like us. We are sinners.
  • But, this day, when God finally comes down to be with us, will be the greatest ever.
  • You started this sermon lost. You are no longer lost. Your family just got bigger.
  • All the children of God, all those who have believed on Him, are now your family.

And now, God is your Father. Please go do what He says to do now.

  • He will help you as you do what He says.
  • If you go against Him, He will be just like a good Dad who will get you. Hell is never the destination.
  • But He can make your life very difficult. If you do what He says, though, He will always be helping you.
  • I will see you in heaven, or, I might just see you on earth before we both get there.

Let’s pray.
