Are all Bibles the same? Do they all say and mean the same thing as all of the Pastors and Preachers coming out of seminaries repeat like parrots?
“Squawk, squawk, all Bible say and means the same thing. Squawk.”
Well, it only takes one example to show you that they all don’t say and mean the same thing.
I’ve even been told, “Well, they don’t differ on any MAJOR doctrines.”
So, now, these great Pastors and Preachers get to tell us what really is major in the Bible.
Let me tell you the truth: EACH AND EVERY WORD IN THE BIBLE IS MAJOR!!! Why? Because it came straight from the mouth of God Almighty.
The King James Bible is the inspired word of God in English. The word of God is perfect. If there is a mistake in the words within the Bible, then it isn’t the word of God. The King James Bible has no mistakes in the words.
Now, with that said, I’ll give you one example today out of thousands just like this one, and you can tell me if they say and mean the same thing.
And, I’d like you to tell me if this is a major doctrine or major teaching for your life.
Let’s look at Matthew 19:9 from the word of God in the King James Bible:
Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
So, the King James Bible says that you cannot divorce your wife for any reason except fornication.
Now, what is fornication? Here’s the definition of fornication from Watson’s Biblical and Theological Dictionary:
FORNICATION, whoredom, or the act of incontinency between single persons; for if either of the parties be married, the sin is adultery.
Fornication only occurs before a person is married. After one is married, the act outside of marriage would be called adultery.
So, Jesus is telling us in Matthew 19:9 that it is not lawful to divorce your spouse unless you find out they committed fornication before you were married. An example is given in the Bible with Joseph and Mary.
Joseph thought Mary had committed fornication when she was found to be pregnant with Jesus. He was going to put her away privily or privately.
Matthew 1:18-19 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
According to Jesus Christ himself, these is no valid reason for divorce except fornication. If you read Matthew 19:9 again, you’ll see that God knows how to use the word fornication and adultery. They are used in the same verse. In others words, adultery is not a valid reason for divorce.
Does that mean it’s okay to commit adultery? No, it’s punishable by death in the Bible.
Leviticus 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
Now, I want you to see how the New American Standard Bible (NASB) is completely different than the King James Bible?
Let’s look at Matthew 19:9 in the New American Standard Bible. Here it is:
Matthew 19:9 in the false NASB And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.
So, the King James Bible says fornication and matches a very important example given in the Bible, BUT the New American Standard Bible says that you can divorce over IMMORALITY.
Now, what’s the definition of immorality? Immorality is immoral quality, character, or conduct; wickedness; evilness.
Immoral means to violate moral principles. In other words, it’s pretty much anything that you think is wrong. So, the NASB leaves it up to YOUR morals.
If you go by the Bible, lying is immoral. Stealing is immoral. That means you can divorce over your spouse lying to you. You should hate lying. The Bible says so. We should hate whatever God hates.
Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
God hates lying. That means you should hate lying too. Let’s say your spouse lies to you.
You go to the Bible your Pastor uses, which might be the New American Standard Bible. You read it and you see that the Jesus within the NASB says you can divorce your spouse for immorality.
But then you go to the King James Bible and the Jesus within that Bible says you can ONLY divorce your spouse for fornication.
Which Jesus is right? Jesus didn’t say both of those things. One of those really isn’t Jesus. Do you think God gets confused about what he said?
Jesus is God, and I guarantee you that he NEVER gets confused. The King James Bible is the word of God while the New American Standard is the word of man. It’s weak and it’s watered down.
Put them side by side, and you’ll instantly see that they don’t say and mean the same thing. All Bibles do not say and mean the same thing. Now do they?
Is divorce a major doctrine? Of course it is. God is serious about marriage, and we MUST be serious about it too.
Matthew 19:4-6 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Don’t fall for the ways of this world. If you have, now you can do your best to follow what God says. Let go of the past and move forward towards God.
Let’s put these verses right next to each other so you can see that they don’t say the same thing, and they definitely don’t mean the same thing:

Take a very close look at that Scripture and tell me they say the same thing. All Bible do not say the same thing! It’s very easy and simple to see.
Do you think I’m lying to you, or do you think all the seminaries, pastors, and preachers are lying to you?
If anyone says that all Bibles say and mean the same thing, you now have a good example to give them. This is just one example of thousands. I hope you now see the truth.
