Foundations for the Whole Family
Our Sunday School isn’t just for children — it’s for families who want to learn the Bible together.
Here, Pastor Nathan Holmes preaches verse by verse through one of the 66 books of the Bible. He doesn’t spend all the time telling personal stories. Nathan teaches the Bible!
Every class is built around verse-by-verse teaching, helping believers understand the structure, stories, and strength of God’s Word.
Children learn the same Scripture adults hear — simplified but never watered down — so that every household grows together in truth.

Sunday Morning Service – 11:00 AM
Preaching That Confronts and Comforts
Our Sunday Morning Service is the cornerstone of our week.
Here, Pastor Joshua Tapp preaches verse by verse through one of the 66 books of the Bible, calling believers to holiness, courage, and obedience to God’s Word.
We sing traditional hymns, lift our voices in praise, and hear the preaching of God’s Word with power and conviction.
Each message is designed to confront sin, strengthen faith, and glorify Jesus Christ.

Sunday Evening Service – 4:00 PM
Deep Study. Strong Doctrine. Real Growth.
The Sunday Evening Service is where we dig deep.
We continue verse-by-verse exposition — often through Old Testament books or prophetic passages — connecting Scripture with Scripture and showing how every page points to Jesus Christ.
This service gives believers time to reflect, study, and discuss the Word of God in an intimate, focused setting. It is the perfect close to the Lord’s Day.
This is also the service where we partake of the Lord’s Supper once every 3 months.

Thursday Night Bible Study – 7:00 PM
The Word at Work — Verse by Verse
Thursday nights are for those who want more than surface-level Christianity.
We open the Bible and study through entire books — verse by verse, word by word — applying truth to daily life and strengthening spiritual maturity.
It’s a time of prayer, fellowship, and pure Bible teaching.
Every believer who attends consistently grows deeper in understanding and stronger in faith.

At True Words Baptist Church, the Bible is not a reference — it’s the roadmap.
We don’t rush through chapters or skip the difficult verses; we believe every word of God matters, and every believer should hear all of it preached.
If you want a church where Scripture is opened, explained, and applied every time you walk through the door, this is that church. You won’t find a deeper explanation of every verse in the Bible at many other churches in this world.
