Many people are looking for a church with many people where they can fit in and relax.
No one wants a church in today’s world that wants them to do what the Bible says.
If a church wants you to actually change and do what the Bible says, no one wants any part of that. That’s not comfortable. That’s too much work.
When you look for a church, what should you look for?
Should you look for people that are friendly? That’s what I did many years ago.
Should you look for a church that entertains you?
Should you look for a church that has influential and powerful people in the congregation? “Well, who attends your church? I want to make sure I can get close to those powerful people.”
Do you look for a church that’s going to provide you with some fleshly benefits like free gym membership, child care so you don’t have to be around your children, great speakers who are charismatic?
Do you look for a church who has the worship style that YOU want?

What Not To Look For In A Church
Friendly people.
Supportive people.
Encouraging people.
Entertaining people.
Enthusiastic people.
Gym, fitness center, child care, games, recreation, entertainment, small groups, Sunday school.
And most of all you don’t look for a preacher that is ALWAYS trying to make you happy. This isn’t “loving.” Telling you the truth no matter if it hurts or not is LOVING. The truth never lies to you. God never lies to you.
A preacher who preaches the truth will ALWAYS have the word of God backing HIM. If it hurts, it hurts. It’s time to make a change. If it’s offensive, it’s offensive. Get over it. God said it. He said it for a reason.
A church doesn’t exist to entertain you and make you happy.
But yet, that’s all you find in our community today. Let’s make everyone happy. It’s not about making YOU HAPPY. It’s about making God happy.
What To Look For In A Church
Preaching using the King James Bible.
Preaching that backs up every statement with SCRIPTURE.
Preaching that doesn’t include personal views and beliefs.
A church who understands the TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. This is a 100% REQUIREMENT.
A church who teaches you HOW TO MAKE IT TO HEAVEN.
If your church has NEVER told you how to make it to heaven and laid it out EXACTLY and SPECIFICALLY using the Bible, then you need to find a new church.
When we go Soul Winning, people who have been in church for 60 years can’t tell me how to get to heaven. That’s very sad, and that’s a HUGE failure of a church.
A church who understands that BELIEVING on the Lord Jesus Christ is the ONLY requirement to be saved. Note: churches in this area ADD works to salvation, which is HERESY and FOOLISH.
Your church should understand baptism. Baptism doesn’t save you. It’s a LIKE FIGURE of salvation. It’s a picture of salvation.
You need a church that will teach you the word of God no matter who or what it offends.
Yes, the Bible is VERY OFFENSIVE. God is offensive. Have you ever heard the following verses taught in your church?
Malachi 2:1-3 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
Yes, that’s God talking right there.
He says, “I WILL CURSE YOUR BLESSINGS.” He says, “I have cursed them already.” He says, “BEHOLD, I WILL CORRUPT YOUR SEED.”
If your church teaches that “Nothing bad comes from God,” you need to get a new church.
If your church teaches that you should “Love everyone no matter what,” you need to get a new church.
If your church teaches about “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE” every sermon, you need to get a new church.
God says, I will “spread dung upon your faces.”
Does that sound like the God you know? It sounds EXACTLY like the God I know.
We are to FEAR GOD with all that we have. And I ONLY preach the truth because I FEAR HIM. I don’t fear any man, any church, any religion, any denomination. God can smash anyone He wants.
Stop messing with God’s word and wake up people! We better get back to God’s word.
It’s not about me. It’s not about you. It’s not about family. It’s not about friends. It’s about God. We will not make it about anyone else here but God ALMIGHTY.
Get out of the false churches that teach different than the Bible, or you might have some dung spread upon your face by GOD ALMIGHTY. Understand that today.
Yeah, that was very offensive. Get over it. Wake up. Start reading and studying the King James Bible with all you have.
And then, you will see that you’re in a false church. Why? Because MOST of what they’re teaching says different than God HIMSELF in the Bible.
