A Time for Depth, Doctrine, and Devotion
Every Sunday at 4:00 PM, True Words Baptist Church gathers once again—not to repeat the morning service, but to go deeper.
Our Sunday Evening Service is a calm, Scripture-saturated time focused on spiritual growth, reflection, and fellowship around the Word of God.
Here, we take our time to study another of the 66 books of the Bible, continuing our verse-by-verse journey through all of Scripture. Every week, we open a new portion of the Bible together, line upon line, precept upon precept.

A Service Centered on the Word
Our evening service is designed to strengthen believers who are hungry for truth.
It’s a time for solid teaching, heartfelt worship, and close fellowship with other Christians. The pace is deliberate — not rushed or shallow — allowing time to truly understand and apply God’s Word.

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
We don’t preach opinion or speculation — we preach the Bible itself, comparing Scripture with Scripture until the meaning is clear and convicting.
Verse-by-Verse Through the Bible
Each of our four weekly services covers a different book of the Bible.
On Sunday evenings, we focus on doctrine, prophecy, and practical Christian living.
Whether we’re in Genesis, Psalms, Romans, or Revelation, we stay faithful to every word of Scripture.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
This approach ensures that our people know the whole counsel of God, not just select parts.
A Time for Prayer and Fellowship
Before the sermon, we spend time in prayer—thanking God for the blessings of the day, lifting up needs within the church, and seeking His strength for the week ahead.
Our fellowship is genuine and encouraging, built on unity around God’s truth.
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Sunday nights are often filled with testimonies, answered prayers, and quiet reflection on what God has already done that week.
Building Bold Disciples
The goal of the evening service is not only to hear truth, but to apply it.
We challenge believers to stand firm in the Word, to live holy lives, and to speak the truth boldly in a dark world.
