Are You Speaking In Unknown Tongues?

Many people are being taught that they must speak in unknown tongues to prove that they are saved.

Let me be very clear here.

Anyone who is teaching this is a false preacher and is not of God. Now, you can close the page because I don’t agree with your speaking in babble, or you can keep reading and see the actual truth in the Scriptures.

1 Corinthians 14:4-5 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

God Gave Us All Brains So Let’s Use Them

So, let’s use our logical brains that God gave us today.

This is not difficult to understand.

An unknown tongue is an unknown LANGUAGE. For example, Swahili is an unknown language to me. I wouldn’t even know if someone were speaking Swahili to me if they came to me. This would be an unknown language with order and structure.

I wouldn’t understand what the person speaking Swahili was saying. This is the definition of unknown tongue.

Genesis 10:5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

The nations in today’s world are divided by their tongues or their languages. Are they not? Yes, they are.

Babbling Is Not An Unknown Tongue Because No One Can Understand It

Babbling is not a language that anyone understands. The people who are babbling are not speaking in a tongue that has order and structure. They are simply babbling. No one knows what they are saying. No one can interpret what they are saying because there is no meaning to the words they babble.

They “ACT” as if they are interpreting, but they are just making things up.

Now, on the other hand, if a man speaking Swahili came into the church and we had a person there who knew Swahili, then that person could interpret to the rest of us who have no clue what the man is saying.

And the interpreter would be speaking the truth if they interpret the words of the man speaking Swahili correctly.

If there was no one there to interpret, the man speaking Swahili would only be talking to himself and to God because no one else would understand.

Unknown Tongue = Unknown Language That You Don’t Know = Existing Language

I hope you see how simple and easy the Bible is if you actually think about it. People will see “unknown tongue” and immediately act as if the Pentecostals are correct with their babble talk.

If we could all speak with many tongues or languages, this would be a good thing. If we knock on someone’s door to give them the Gospel and they don’t understand English, this would not profit them. But, if we could speak their language, this gift of tongues or languages would definitely profit them.

This is why God gives the gift of tongues or the gift of understanding languages. He does this so the Gospel truth can spread. You can see this in Acts Chapter 2.

They weren’t babbling useless words. They were speaking their own language (NOT BABBLING) and the others were hearing the words in their own language. This was a miracle. Why? God did this so the Gospel could be spread to all nations across the world. Why? Because the nations were divided by their tongues or languages.

Is this not very clear and easy to understand?

There Is Not One Example Of Babbling In The Bible

If you still think that “unknown tongue” in the Bible means babbling, why is there no example of babbling in the Bible? There is not one.

1 Corinthians 14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

There is no profit at all in speaking in babble because no one understands the babble including the so-called lying interpreter of the babble. That interpreter couldn’t even repeat what the babbler originally said. It’s a all a show, and it’s demonic. That’s what it is, and this is the truth.

Let’s say we’re in a church where everyone speaks English. This would be the vast majority of churches in Kentucky.

If Everyone In Your Church Understands English, Why Are You Speaking In Babble That No One Understands?

Why would someone need to speak in babble or an “unknown tongue” to preach the word of God? Everyone understands English. Why can’t they just speak in English? Wouldn’t it be very confusing if someone just starts to speak in babble?

I’ve been in churches when this happens. It’s very confusing. No one has a clue what the clown is saying. Why aren’t you speaking in English? You are wasting time and creating confusion. You have no clue what you just said either. The people who do this admit that they have no clue what they said.

1 Corinthians 14:9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

When a man comes speaking in an unknown language that no one knows, he is speaking into the air. If that man speaking Swahili came to me, I would have no clue what he is saying. We wouldn’t get anywhere.

Would I bring a man speaking Swahili into church to preach for me during a service when no one speaks Swahili? I would need an interpreter 100% without a doubt for any of us to profit from the words of the man speaking Swahili. If we had an interpreter, we would be able to understand his words.

Babble Or An Actual Language Not Understood By Anyone In The Church = Speaking Into The Air

If not, he would only be speaking into the air. When someone babbles, they are speaking into the air. The “interpreter” has no clue what they are saying because what they just said has no structure.

And no, the Holy Spirit isn’t “interpreting” for these people. If you think so, let’s take multiple people “with” the holy Spirit and put them into different rooms and allow them to all interpret. They should all give us the exact same meaning if the Holy Spirit is interpreting. He doesn’t get confused. He doesn’t make mistakes.

But this would never happen because the Holy Spirit doesn’t speak in babble. We don’t see this once in the Bible. The Holy Spirit speaks where we can understand what He is saying.

1 Corinthians 14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

There are so many different tongues and languages throughout the world. They are all important, but we need to be able to understand to profit from them. This is what the gift of tongues is speaking about. It’s not about speaking in babble. No one can understand. What’s the point? There is no point.

Why Wouldn’t English Speaking People Preach The Word Of God In English? Everyone Would Understand And There Wouldn’t Be Any Confusion!

Why wouldn’t English speaking people speak in English within church? There’s no one else there that needs the English interpreted! If so, we would have an interpreter.

1 Corinthians 14:13-14 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

Let’s say I wanted to say a prayer in Swahili even though I don’t know Swahili. Here is my prayer in Swahili:

“Maana nikiomba kwa lugha, roho yangu huomba, lakini akili yangu haina matunda.”

Would you know that was in Swahili if I didn’t tell you? No, most likely, you wouldn’t unless you knew Swahili. The language of Swahili has order. Each word used has a meaning. If I said the above to you, you would have no idea what I just said. Did this profit you at all?

The Swahili above (using Google translate) means:

“For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.”

I could pray in that Swahili, I wouldn’t know what it meant. Try it. Say the above sentence in Swahili. If I didn’t tell you what it meant, you would have no idea. Your understanding is unfruitful. You don’t understand so it produces nothing for you. You are only speaking the words, but they aren’t meaning anything to you.

Do You Know What This Says? Do You Know This Language Or Tongue? If Not, This Is An Unknown Tongue To You.

Let’s try something else in a different language:

“Perciò chi parla in una lingua sconosciuta preghi di poter interpretare.”

Do you have any idea what that says? What if I came to your church, and I preached that right there? Would anyone know what I am saying? Do you know if that is a language or am I speaking in babble? If you didn’t know, you would only hear babble being spoken. But, if we had an interpreter of the Italian language, we would know that I said this:

“Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.”

When someone supposedly “speaks in tongues” in the churches, they have absolutely no clue what they said. The “interpreter” has no clue what they said. No one has any clue what was said. If they act like they do, they are liars. And they know that.

Here’s Another Example. What About This? Do You Know What This Says Or Is This An Unknown Tongue To You?

Пентекосталне цркве су до врха испуњене лажовима.

Did you have any clue that the language above is Serbian? I sure didn’t. This is an unknown tongue for me. I don’t understand this language or tongue at all. But, when a have a translator, I can see that it says this in English:

“Pentecostal churches are filled to the brim with lies.”

God Commands You To Speak With Understanding. The Gift Of Tongues Gives You Understanding Of Structured Languages And Not Babbling.

The Bible teaches us clearly that we are to speak with understanding to the people so we can teach people. Babbling doesn’t do anything except put on a show given by a bunch of liars.

1 Corinthians 14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

Why in the world would the churches be speaking in babble? Use common sense. God gave you common sense. If we don’t need to speak in another language in church because everyone understands English, then why are you attempting to “speak in tongues.”

Why are you shaking on the floor? This is not from God. Please understand that.

Rely On The Words Of The Bible. Actually Slow Down And Understand What God Is Teaching.

We don’t just see the phrase “unknown tongues” in the Bible and immediately believe that the Pentecostals were right. “Speaking in tongues must be right!!!” Did you even stop to read the entire chapter and attempt to understand the chapter? No, you didn’t.

Rely on the words of the Bible, and stop listening to all of these false preachers out there. It’s sickening. It’s nasty. It’s vomit worthy. The Bible includes nothing like this speaking in babble. Understand that right now.

I hope you see the truth and stop attempting to speak in “unknown tongues.” What you are doing is not speaking in an unknown tongue. Tongue equals language. What you are doing is babble talk. You look and sound like a baby trying to speak. It’s babble. You’re silly. You’re foolish. It’s time to wake up and see the truth.
