DESCRIPTION:Isaiah 9:6\nFor unto us a child is born\, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful\, Counsellor\, The mighty God\, The everlasting Father\, The Prince of Peace. \nOverview\nThis December\, we want to fill God’s house with people who need to hear about the birth of our Savior. The Invite Someone to Christmas Challenge is simple: spend the month inviting people to church and bringing as many guests as you can to our Christmas Eve Service. \nEvery invitation is a seed of the Gospel. Every guest is a soul who will hear that Jesus Christ is the Son of God\, the only Savior\, and the only way to heaven. \nKey Challenge Details\n\nFocus: Invite and bring visitors to the Christmas Eve Service.\nWho Can Participate: Any church member or faithful attender.\nGoal: See as many visitors as possible hear a clear presentation of the Gospel.\n\nHow the Challenge Works\n\nThroughout December\, invite family\, friends\, co-workers\, neighbors\, and anyone you meet to our Christmas Eve Service.\nOn Christmas Eve\, each visitor will be asked who invited them so we can record it properly.\nAll visitors will be counted\, and the person who brings the most visitors to the service will be recognized.\n\nThe Prize\nThe person who brings the most visitors to the Christmas Eve Service will receive a Christmas Dinner Gift Basket filled with special Christmas treats and a gift card. \n\nChristmas popcorn tins\nHot cocoa mix\nCandy and cookies\n$50 gift card for Christmas dinner or groceries\n\nThe prize is a thank you\, but the real reward is seeing people hear the Gospel and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. \nKey Dates and Events\n\nChristmas Eve Service: A Christ-centered service focused on the birth of Jesus Christ\, with clear Gospel preaching and an invitation to be saved.\nFellowship After the Service: A time of fellowship with desserts\, hot drinks\, and time with the church family and guests.\nPrize Announcement: The winner of the Invite Someone to Christmas Challenge will be announced after the Christmas Eve Service and fellowship.\n\nPurpose of the Challenge\nThe purpose of this challenge is not numbers\, but souls. We want to: \n\nFill the church with people who need to hear the Gospel.\nEncourage every believer to be bold in inviting others to church.\nUse the Christmas season to point people to Christ\, not to the world’s version of Christmas.\n\nOur mission at True Words Baptist Church is to turn believers into bold disciples of Jesus Christ. Inviting people to church\, especially when the Gospel will be clearly preached\, is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to live that mission. \nHow to Take Part\n\nPray and ask God to show you who to invite.\nCarry invitations\, tracts\, and church information with you wherever you go.\nPersonally commit to bringing at least one visitor\, and ask God to help you bring more.\nFollow up with people you invite: call them\, text them\, remind them\, and offer them a ride if needed.\n\nLet’s make this December a month of inviting\, rejoicing\, and celebrating the birth of our Savior.
